The staff at Bellbridge House were just absolutely wonderful. From the lovely chatty lady that greeted us at reception when we arrived yesterday afternoon to the staff in the restaurant, the bar, the lovely lady who looked after us this morning at breakfast, she was a little ray of sunshine -the extra coffee was just what we both needed!! Not forgetting the lovely gentleman who brought us some extra towels yesterday evening, the whole team at Bellbridge House were just fantastic. Hats off to the crew in the kitchen too, as the food was just delicious-the chicken stir fry was divine 👌 We will most certainly be back again before the summer ends.

Have stayed at The Bellbridge a few times, the staff are lovely, whilst my single room was small it was very comfortable. It feels homely
There was no hot water the morning we were there, so it was either cold showers or no showers . On reading back on reviews , there appears to be a theme with shower issues so maybe the hotel could put some money into upgrading their water systems . The shower gel was also attached to the wall outside of the shower unit ,,this would be very easy to remedy. I e mailed the hotel re the lack of hot water as there was 7 in all in our party but had no reply . Despite this I would probably choose to stay here again

This hotel is in a fabulous location with great sea views and lovely walks. The lobby is lovely and has a great welcoming feel to it. Rooms are basic enough but spotless and comfortable. Only comment would be the power in the shower is not great. We had dinner in the bar and I must say it was excellent. One of the best meals we have had in any hotel recently. 10/10. Having been so impressed with dinner unfortunately we were a little disappointed with the breakfast. The hash browns and the sausages were only luke warm and the fried eggs were seriously overcooked and should have been taken away as they looked awful. However on a positive note the staff were very friendly and helpful .

I stayed two nights as I was attending a wedding at another local venue within walking distance of the Bellbridge. Breakfast was awesome with lots of variety of various foods. A late lunch was delicious. I would definitely stay here again. We had a very spacious room that overlooked the beach with spectacular views of the ocean.
the window blinds are operated by remote so it would have been helpful to know that when we got to the room - it wasn't a problem but it took a while to figure it out.

The room was lovely and clean, the beds were really comfortable. The breakfast was very good, lots of choice. The restaurant we ate in was fantastic and the food and service was excellent. All the staff were so lovely and friendly.
The only criticism I have is the shower in room 30 was terrible, the water flow was really poor and trying to regulate the temperature was really hard work. I have long hair so trying to rinse the shampoo out took me a while. I would definitely stay at this hotel again it was lovely.

I loved the comfortable bedroom though I would suggest that two comfortable armchairs be placed in a bedroom with two guests.Thought needs to be given to people who are less mobile & who spend more time indoors. In the dining room, there was a very excellent, exceptional & unique lady, named Anna, who was most efficient, most welcoming, approachable,good-humoured & personable. She is the best advertisement for your hotel. She was unbelievably talented in her job always smiling & helpful. No request was too big for her. That lovely lady will bring back visitors a second or third time to your hotel. I've one negative observation & it concerns the extravagant prices of all lunch menus. There is a rip-off on your guests. Most settled people like to dine in the hotel in which they stay. Therefore you've got to make the price of dishes affordable for them.In my opinion, the breakfast is far too big with a full Irish & a Continental breakfast together. Less would do & then you could lower the exorbitant prices, charged for the lunch menus I'm being practical about this point. I had guests with me on Monday & Tuesday for lunch & naturally we dined in the hotel. My guests both from Co.Clare ,were embarrassed to put the cost of the meal they chose on us,so they went for a toasted sandwich and chips. I, myself, took a side order as I still had an elegant sufficiency after the breakfast. Apart from this issue,I really enjoyed the quietness day and night in the bedroom area. It was a lovely break & it was a Clare lady from Doonbeg, who recommended your hotel to us. Keep up the good work & it's great to see the housekeeper training in the Ukrainian young adults. Both the Irish housekeeper and her trainers were so polite and friendly. Thanks for a lovely experience.I.will be back again DV. Elizabeth McCann Flynn.
As I stated in the other section, the prices for any dish at lunch was prohibitive.Less options for breakfast might be the answer. No need for a full Irish breakfast & a Continental one as well. Healthy option is the Continental. Drop the prices for lunch dishes and your guests will dine in the hotel.Otherwise, they'll be off to Milltown Malbay!

Great location. We were there for family wedding in The Armada but Bellbridge far superior in terms of staff friendliness and everything else . Reception area in Bellbridge more homely plenty of places to gather . Great hotel would not hesitate to stay there again and would recommend highly to any travellers.
Loved it no complaints . Went to breakfast first morning head waiter couldn’t do enough for us staff so nice . Rooms very clean lovely room staff so nice and friendly .

Staff welcoming and friendly, spotlessly clean, decor with character, lovely situation with stunning views, plenty of car parking convenient to entrance. Single bedroom was small with sloping reef but had all facilities and exceptionally comfortable bed. Food and service in restaurant was excellent, beautiful seafood for dinner and quality and range of options for breakfast far exceeded my expectations for a hotel of this size. I was just passing through but would be happy to return for a longer stay.
Not really a dislike but for a tall or large person the sharp slope in the roof limited usable space and as a result the ensuite bathroom was rather cramped with slightly awkward access to the shower.

I booked it for convenience of location as I was attending a wedding nearby but it honestly exceeded my expectations. I chose an extra hour in bed over the breakfast that was included in my stay but when I went to check out, the extremely kind ladies who were serving breakfast ordered me a hot breakfast and let me help myself to the bits that were still left out, it was a very kind gesture which they really didn't need to do and I really appreciated it.

Loved our stay . Clean . Beautiful breakfast . Helpful and friendly staff
Was sharing room with my daughter on first night on ground floor . Didn't get a lot of sleep due to guests in room above us . Someone pacing across floor and talking loudly. Plus they kept moving furniture across floor . My daughter wanted to upgrade me for a second night in the room but I had booked a single room on higher floor so I refused because I was worried I wouldn't get a good sleep for second night . This is only complaint I have .
