19 Tile Ceramic Concept Hotel is a beautifully designed hotel with individually decorated rooms. The theme is craft and design, so expect interesting ceramic works everywhere, as well as stylish furniture, fixtures and lighting. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The bed was wonderfully large and comfortable — a true king size, and the shower was great. The hotel is very well located in the city center, museums and Parque Dom Carlos I.

We were given room 3, a standard double. It's right next to reception, and we could hear the front door buzzer, as well as every guest that checked in at reception or walked past our door to the adjoining restaurant. There are several rooms in the same corridor, and I expect all of them are equally noisy and don't exactly feel private. There's no air conditioning, so this meant opening the window for air which also meant a few mosquitos at night, as well as hearing the super loud peacock calls on rooftops. Some guests also had drinks and lively conversation on the garden patio right near our window — we felt like they were in our room!

Had to stop over on our way to Porto. The town itself was a bit stranded in January, but the hotel was excellent with a warm welcome. All information for arrival was correct and easy to understand and the welcome was warm. All rooms are named by a local artist and are decorated with his/her works. We had a deluxe family suite, where the second sleeping room is connected via small balcony (might be handy if there's a snoring person in family). We discovered later at the Nazare lighthouse that we works of Mario Reis are also decorating this iconic landmark. Breakfast was good - the buffee selection is not big, but they make you an omelette or anything else from eggs. Parking is close and easy to find. P.S Extra nice touch was the complimentary port wine in the room.

We recently stayed at "19 Tile Ceramic Concept", and overall, we had a pleasant experience. The hotel has a modern, stylish design, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The location is excellent, close to key attractions and city center, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities provided were top-notch. The breakfast was decent, with a good selection of options, Overall, a great stay and a solid choice for anyone visiting Caldas da Rainha!

We did notice a bit of street noise in the early morning, so light sleepers may want to request a room on a higher floor or bring earplugs.

Breakfast was fresh and cooked in the spot, specially the eggs. It was pretty ok. The room was very large and big and the bed was extremely large and comfy. The balcony was nice to have and the little presents were also pleasant. The bathroom and the room had plenty of space and the decoration was quite different. The staff was very flexible :)

The room was kinda dusty, specially the floor. And because is an old building readapted to an hotel and apartments, it's not very quiet because of the wooden floor and the thin walls. Nothing else to point out

Hotel is just steps from the famed Praça da Fruta das Caldas da Rainha. Extremely helpful and kind staff dedicated to ensuring a comfortable stay. Everyone - especially Aline and Marina - went out of their way to make sure the room was perfect for our 4-person group, as well as offering suggestions to local sights and vendors. Breakfast offered each morning was excellent. Nearby medieval walled city Óbidos is a short Uber drive away and well worth the trip. Highly recommend this hotel.

Really cool rooms with unique art in each one-- the room I got also unexpectedly had a net chair/swing by the window which was quite comfortable to hang out in. The staff were very friendly, and the location is great if you want to explore the town a bit on foot. The attached restaurant was a nice space too, and the continental breakfast was also really lovely. I'd definitely recommend people consider staying here.

They put me in a different room than the one I thought I booked-- it was larger and had a nicer bathroom so the switch was fine with me overall, but it was a different artist/theme than I expected and it was up a flight of stairs instead of being on the ground floor. When I tried to use the jacuzzi tub I must have hit the wrong button trying to turn on the jets because they came on at full blast and sprayed water all over the bathroom-- that was probably user error and not the property's fault at all, but the jets also pushed a bunch of brown chunks from the pipes out into the tub water which was rather off-putting.

We liked everything about the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful, assisting with taxis and general area information. The staff in the breakfast room were very friendly and welcoming. The choices for breakfast were varied and extremely enjoyable. The good sized bedroom was well set out with an excellently equipped bathroom. Both were uniquely decorated. Superb on all levels and hope to return.

The feeling of a hotel, from the moment we walked in the door, was warm, artistic and unique! The renovated traditional Portuguese building was gorgeous! They did an amazing job with the space! I can’t say enough about the honors and stuff! They were the friendliest and most helpful people ever! Honestly, I felt like I was visiting dear friends. They are warm and helpful and friendly! We enjoyed our daily breakfast in the restaurant and felt like it was a big family! The morning breakfast was abundant and of high quality. the staff wanted to accommodate us whenever we needed help with anything. Truly, a fantastic place!

we liked everything about the property. The only downside is that rooms on the street side, which happened to be ours, was noisy from outside traffic. As a small one-way street, at the sound of cars could be heard in our room.

The location was very good, close to the market place, that is hold every day. A very good breakfast was between 8 and 10 am. Many interesting places are in Caldas da rainha. A ceramic museum, an art museum inside a big garden. A ceramic bowles, dishes and many beautiful things sold in an old ceramic fabric. I was only 3 days in Caldas and that is not enough. I need to come back and see more. We went to the beach Foz do Arelha, it was lovely there.

Our room was gorgeous, all decorated with tiles from a skilled artist, also the layout and furniture were quite amusing. The restaurant with inner access was delightful, we've been there a few times, including for breakfast. The staff was so friendly, even arranging a ceramic workshop in the hotel itself. I'd definitely recommend it and would stay there again.
