Great choice to stay in McAllen. Its very near from restaurants like cracker barrel or five guys burguer (walking distance very short) next to the hotel is located a academy store and the plaza mall is very close too. The room very confortable and clean and the personal since the beginning were very nice people. Definitely i’ll stay again in the homewood suites.

We had everything we needed. The gym was cute, and the staff were all very kind.

The quality of the food was questionable. We were not happy with the turkey sausage, which tasted like cardboard. However, the chocolate chip cookies were legendary!

Good location.

The coffee pot was high end. I added bottled water to the resoivoir to make coffee and it had trash in it… should have been checked. Otherwise, proptery was clean and full but we rarely waited for an elevator. Great stay. would stay here again

The accommodations were wonderful. We were upgraded to an awesome room which worked out great for our group! The staff was superb! Everyone went above and beyond at each encounter.

Better room and amenities than expected!! Pool was great!! Staff was savy and quick to accommodate us!!

The suite did not have updated silverware. Only one fork.

the property was clean and fully functional. there are actual pots and pans in the rooms to use in the kitchen. suite had a full size refrigerator and apartment size dishwasher.

the only complaint I can think of is the walk from the rooms to the breakfast/check-in area is quite a trek. but that’s just trying to find something wrong.

Very comfortable, clean and with fantastic location, close to a variety of restaurants, perfect when you do not want to drive after a long road trip
