Fifteen minutes walk from the station, it was simple to find. The hotel was very central, right in the heart of the bustling town centre and within ten minutes walk of the cathedral, the Mercado, Genovese park and fifteen minutes walk to the famous La Caleta beach, which was clean and had a great atmosphere; full of locals enjoying their holidays. Whilst at the beach a visit to the Castilos either side is a must. The staff were friendly, helpful and very professional, the breakfast served by Mara was excellent every day, it’s very good value and a great way to start the day. The room was perfect, I paid a nominal €10 per night for an upgrade. The standard of cleaning in the bathroom, room and all areas was immaculate. Thank you :-)

There’s nothing to dislike

Located right in the heart of the old town this is a great hotel. Our room was nice and comfortable and had a Nespresso coffee maker. It is a small hotel but does everything you need it to.

Unfortunately the pool was closed for maintenance when we stayed, but this was not a major inconvenience.

Soho Boutique Columela hotel is located in the historic part of Cadiz. The location of hotel is ideal to explore Cadiz on foot or by bike. Very close to bars, restaurants and shops in the city center. The size of rooms is very good and the overall cleanliness of rooms and the entire hotel is very good. We asked for a quiet room and our room was facing inner courtyard and was perfectly quiet. Staff at the reception desk and at breakfast is really nice and friendly. Breakfast was very good. Nespresso machine in rooms which was very much appreciated. Overall a very good experience and would highly recommend.

Pool on the roof terrace is really very small. Do not expect that you will be able to swim there. The staff of the hotel that is in charge of cleaning was cleaning around the pool and breakfast area during breakfast time. It would be better if they would clean before the start of breakfast as it is not very pleasing if someone is cleaning around you and is also inconvinient for cleaning staff as they can not do their job properly.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Cádiz and had a pleasant experience. The hotel was clean and comfortable, making it a great place to relax after exploring the city. Its location is perfect for discovering the charming streets, historic sites, and local eateries. The staff was friendly and generally helpful, which added to the positive experience. While their assistance was sometimes limited, they were always courteous and willing to assist when needed.

Fantastic location. A lot of thought has gone into designing these rooms and they don’t disappoint. Very quiet in the night time considering we are in the centre pretty much. The bed and pillows were very comfortable for a great night sleep. Staff are lovely. Parking very close and not too expensive for a city and secure found at Canalejas for 20 euros or discounted to 15 euros if you can download the app (which we couldn’t)

I really can’t think of anything. We are tea drinkers so it would be nice to have an option of a kettle - they supply the coffee machine instead. Pool closed but they have a lovely terrace and for sun worshippers it would have been lovely to have had the opportunity to use the loungers.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Comfortable big bed. Excellent location. Great pool area. Helpful staff - they advised best places to park to reach the hotel quickly on foot. Lovely hotel. Would definitely stay again.

Nitpicking as this is a 10/10 stay but small notes: Water from the shower tray would leak on to bathroom floor. We were in an internal room so to let any natural light into the room you need to open the curtain but people would be able to see in. Maybe a film to cover the window to allow light but keep privacy.

This hotel is in an excellent location, we loved Cadiz and there was plenty to see and do. The staff are helpful and friendly. This hotel is one of many in a chain, I wouldn't hesitate to book with them again in another part of the town or in Spain. The pool was a very welcome addition to help escape the heat, and breakfast was really good.

The hotel is very well positioned, everything is new and well organised. The personnel helped us find a restaurant during a bank holiday when half of the city was closed. They also helped me find my phone which I forgot in the room after the check out. Honestly, they've been great!!!

We didn't have a window in the room, but all in all it was a great compromise and I would still recommend the hotel.

Great hotel. Very clean. Lovely breakfast. Great value. Good assorted drinks in the mini bar and not overpriced.

No parking but that’s what you get if you want to stay in the old town. Hotel a little hard to find as only a single door in the shopping street. You need to park and carry your bags through the street. Not a complaint just an observation for others.

Spacious room, big bed, convenient location. The staff at reception and breakfast were very friendly. We could check-in late and leave the luggage after check - out. Complementary water and small chocolates were waiting for us.

Windows were not very clean when we opened them. There was no body lotion. The pool on the rooftop was under repair.
