Beautiful room, but no breakfast was included and for the price it would have been nice. The view was stunning and we were comfortable for the most part.

Parking was not included and not noted when I booked the reservation, I found out on the app days before we arrived and ended up having to pay an additional $90 for parking in a "Hotel Parking" lot a block and a half away.

Very clean room with small but functional washer/dryer, comfy bed, and a kitchen with a sink and fridge. The Sonder itself is on a dead block with not many restaurants or attractions, but everything in downtown is easy walking distance. Probably a ten minute walk to Campus Martius and the Q-Line, fifteen/twenty minute walk from all the sport stadiums. Extremely easy to check in and check out, company provides a code a few days in advance. Nice to just use the code and not have to keep track of a key. Overall would recommend a stay if you are in downtown Detroit for an event, concert, or sports game.

You will need to make an account on the Sonder website and go through their check-in process. That includes uploading a photo ID and taking a selfie to verify identify. Took maybe ten minutes, so not a big deal, but would have been more convenient if everything was contained in the Booking.com app.

Location was excellent - easy to get everywhere AND across the road from the airport express bus stop. A really easy (& cheap!) way to get in and out of downtown. Really spacious room and good kitchen facilities. Made it very easy to eat in sometimes but bear in mind, it's a bit of a trek to get groceries.

One of the lifts was out of service for a couple days but that's to be expected sometimes in an old building.

Location was great. Easy walk to Comerica Park and Ford Field. Easy access with door code. Room was clean and comfortable. Additional amenities like record player and kitchenette were great. Nice decor. Friendly staff. My wife really liked the bath products.

We were on the 9th floor and one of the two elevators was under repair for some of our stay. This made for either a long hike up the stairs or a long wait for the elevator. Also, ordered pizza delivery at night, which was delivered and left at my door, but I was in the shower, and it was stolen by the time I went to the door to get it.

The whole transaction from booking to checking out was seamless. The room and facility was clean, comfortable, and spacious. I will definitely be using this place again and recommend it to others! Walking distance to everything major happening in downtown Detroit. Plenty of paid parking nearby. Awesome amenities for the price!

My only complaint would be the paid parking. Although there is a secured lot right across the street, it was $30 (but included in/out privileges). That being said, most of the hotel locations in downtown Detroit are moving towards paid parking.

Excellent communication before check-in made actual check-in super simple. Clean, modern room, kitchen facilities (even having a fridge in the room is a nice bonus, nice bathroom with an excellent shower and toiletries. There was never a problem getting the elevator. The bed and bedding was super comfy, including the pillows which covered all the bases. We wanted an extra blanket, which the staff got for us with a smile. And one of the most important things, it is located in the centre of the city, with easy walking access to so much! This is our second visit, and most likely not our last.

I like how close it was to the bus station, I was able to walk there in 10 minutes! The room was spacious and very clean. It was easy to keep the daylight out with the blinds. I wasn't staying long enough to use the appliances but they were very nice and looked to be in working order.

Although the temperature was warm at times, I felt somewhat cold when I went to sleep. I think it was because the comforter was so thin. There were also some people yelling in the middle of the night. I can understand that it might be hard to control at any hotel, especially on the weekend, but due to the chill and noise it took me longer to fall asleep.

The location was great! We were able to walk around downtown Detroit, visit the River Walk, Greek Town, Floods, Comerica Park, The Fox & Campus Martius all without moving the car. The price is right!!! The staff great!!! Very helpful & pleasant!!!

On our last night some of the other guests were very loud, it was a Friday night and I guess they were having a really good time, but is was really late or really early Saturday morning, but with that being said, our stay was still really great!!!

View of the city from our room wonderful. Spacious and bright. Great shower . Nice kitchen facilities. Soacious large square footage Felt secure and safe. Like that there is a security attendant 24 hours at front door. Amazing location in the heart of vibrant downtown Detroit a short walk to everything.

Wish the bedroom was a seperate room, not just a partition. Was very little privacy if 3 ppl sharing the place as we were.. There was only one pillow for the pull out bed in livingroom and it didn't have a pillowcase(understand this was just a minor housekeeping error)

This was a great location for us. The studio apartment was very comfortable and clean. We were close to tons of restaurants and transportation, which was a big plus for us. Additonally, the Sonder customer service staff was very responsive when we reached out to them. We certainly loved the city of Detroit, the DIA museum, the food (San Morello, La Lanterna, The Hudson Cafe, Avalon Cafe, Cannelle Bakery) and its people!

The wifi connection was good 3 out of our 4 night stay. This was a bit frustrating especially because we wanted to watch some movies late night.
