Excellent location, stunning views, spacious car par, pet friendly, clean, very large well kept gardens with picnic tables, close to the beaches and night life. A up hill trek walking back to the property which was fine for us but could be difficult for some people. Worth it for the views. Excellent selection for breakfast. Friendly staff. Does not serve lunch or dinner but provided with details of restaurants and takeaways prior to visit. Great value for money, plenty to see and do, close to the railway and bus routes. Second time we have stayed here and would definitely stay again. Beaches are amazing and everyone is so friendly.

The only thing I didn’t like was having to leave.

Amazing ~ loved it A fantastic stay from start to finish! Our room was spacious, spotless, and really comfortable-plenty of room to relax. The bar area was lovely and inviting, a great spot to unwind in the evening. Breakfast was a real highlight, with a wide choice on the menu, including fresh fruit and a delicious cooked breakfast that really set us up for the day. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, creating a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. The garden outside was a peaceful bonus, with stunning views over the sea and coastline-absolutely beautiful. One of the best B&Bs we've stayed in. Highly recommended!

Minor ~ no plus near dressing table

World class views Dog friendly Barmouth is under known little diamond. Perfect for dog owners, walkers, families.etc. Gary, the Manager, was excellent and over relied on by the owner and his good nature taken advantage of by the owner.

The position of the hotel is accessed up a very step road, ok to drive but for anyone with mobility limitations very challenging to walk. The TV ariel was weather damaged so the only programs available were via the online network. This would have been OK if the network was reliable, but a couple of times per hour the connectivity failed. The room would have. benefited from some clothes hooks in both the room and bathroom (the bathroom had 2 hooks on the back of the small double entrance doors that were useless) The bedroom would also have benefited from a pair of bedside drawer chests. But note these are personal preferences and are a bit picky. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely B&B stay at this property and all staff we're both friendly and very helpful. We arrived early and popped in to say Hi and to let Gary know we were leaving the car. To our amazement we were allowed to check-in and got an upgrade - this was most welcome - thank you Gary. Bayley our Welsh Terrior was also made to feel at home. The bathroom was amazing and we loved the shower. The bed was roomy and very comfortable giving us a great night's sleep. Finally the breakfast was wonderful 👏 😋 setting us up for another fabulous day out in Barmouth. Nothing seemed like too much trouble - the staff at this property made the stay exceptional along with the views.

We were in Barmouth for a family funeral, and Gary the manager arranged it so that we could book in early to enable us to get changed, which was most appreciated after our 5 hour drive. The room was beautiful, very spacious and exceptionally clean with an amazing shower room. Also the shower was powerful with no temperature changes. It was also a refreshing change to have 3 toilet rolls for a 2 night stay (it's the small things that count). Breakfast was cooked to order from a menu rather than help yourself. Full Welsh breakfast is highly recommended, also the continental selection looked superb. The staff at breakfast were exceptionally polite, happy & helpful. Views onto Barmouth Bay were breathtaking, even the small hill up to the hotel did not put us off. All in all, thoroughly recommend, and will revisit.

Beautiful building in a fantastic position overlooking the sea. Rooms are spacious and well furnished. Bed was very comfortable, linen fresh and lovely. Nice hair and body wash products. Breakfast was fabulous. Lots of choice and hot good was beautifully cooked and presented. Staff at breakfast were lovely and so helpful and friendly, couldn’t fault a thing. There’s an honesty bar and a well stocked bar it is too!

Not a problem for us but it’s a fairly steep walk from the town. Also, again, not an issue for us but lots of stairs so anyone with mobility issues may have difficulty.

Staff very good, great view, room was a good size and well appointed.

We were on the top floor on one of the hottest days of the year. On arrival curtains were open, and the opening on the windows is restricted (I presume for H & S reasons), so couldn't be opened properly for ventilation. Whilst bed was very comfortable the heat meant sleep was very difficult. No aircon (which i understand as days like this are unusual) but perhaps we could have been offered a fan and the curtains could have been closed before we arrived to keep the heat of the sun off the room.

Super room, great sea view which is worth paying a little extra for. Bathroom exceptional (again with sea view!). Super bed with nice white cotton sheets, breakfast was exceptional and all staff were great. Location is just right and Barmouth is a great place for a little break away. There is a nice garden to sit and enjoy the view and a bar for a little tipple. Car park is a good size so no worries re parking. Great choice for a quality break away.

I think a small fridge in the room would be great.

Lovely property… great for families or a group of friends. It has recently had a tasteful make over. Plenty of room to relax with an honesty bar at your disposal Garden area outside with a fab view too! We didn’t sit out as it was sadly a blustery and wet May evening! Breakfast was just superb fresh fruit, cereals and cooked to order too!

Nothing not to like! Steep hill back from Barmouth after a meal. Take your Car as there was easy parking or hire a taxi to solve that issue. Pre-ordered evening meals at the property would be a such a nice touch.

We loved the views, they are amazing. Our room was spacious especially with two dogs & the bathroom was gorgeous. Breakfast was lovely & filling with so much choice. Our sausages loved their breakfast sausage too! We didn’t use the honesty bar but it was a great idea. All the staff were so friendly & helpful.

There isn’t anything we didn’t like, there isn’t a lift & that’s not a problem we just have one awkward dog that won’t climb the stairs & likes to be carried ha!
