We loved Fusion Suites and had two stays here; both on the higher floors (7th and 9th) so benefitted from views. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The staff, from the cleaners up were friendly, helpful and professional. In particular, we would like to mention Tran who works on 'front of house'/reception. She was excellent in helping us with information and making arrangements for our onward journey to Ben Tre and booked bus tickets with Minh Tham on our behalf. Fusion Suites is in an excellent position on the fringe of District 1 (bordering District 3) and next to Ben Thanh park. Also an easy walk to the War Remnants museum in one direction and Ben Thanh market (and access to the new metro) in the other.

There wasn't anything we did not like.

Overall it was a great experience. The location is superb, it's walking distance from the very center of the city. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and cozy. Loved the bath.

The room wasn't sound-proof enough, and on one of the nights I was up from.. awfully loud sounds from the neighbors. The hair dryer is an absolute disaster, it's a cheap foldable one. The wardrobe wasn't really useful, the shelves are low. On one of the days a housekeeper walked in, although my room was locked from the inside. The breakfast is ok, but I'd give it a 3/5.

The location was astounding. We walked for miles every day. With a corner room, we had views of trees and a family of parakeets making a nest in front of us. The property is extremely clean and the room was spacious. Everything felt clean and modern. Even the gym. But the real charm came from the staff. Thanh helped us every morning and everyone was eager to help with whatever we needed. Utilize their concierge service to help with plans. Best to plan days in advance. Oh, yes, and the breakfast! Tasty and varied - so delicious. Both local and foreign cuisines.

The shower splashed all over the floor. Typical Asian shower. I still don’t understand it. lol

An extremely comfortable room with a treetop view. The bed was the most comfortable we’ve slept in during our 10 day trip - very plush! Very well sound insulated also, which is great since the city can be quite noisy. We had a great nights sleep.

The only thing I would mention is that when I booked I thought I could see in the images that the rooms had windows that could open (which is something I always look for). When we arrived we found that they had been screwed shut so we couldn’t open them. It was very hot and the aircon worked really well, so it wasn’t a problem, however the option would be nice.

I highly suggest getting a bigger room with windows. The bathroom was western styled - shower was properly separated from the toilet and water drained properly. Room walls are not too thin. There's an extra fan and lighting. When I asked for a late check-out, the next room I moved to had no windows (next available unfortunately) and the shower room was a mess when I showered. The water was everywhere as there was no segregated pillar from the shower water spreading to other parts of the bathroom. The no window room had the sink tap situated next to the bed oddly. Nice sheets and quilts. Staff was really helpful and got our luggage into the car despite the heavy rain ❤️

The buffet breakfast looked really limited so we opted to not include it in our stay. When they make up the rooms, they don't change towels straight away. Instead they do random knocking later in the day asking if you want new towels which was rather disruptive. It was a bit bothersome asking for new towels each time. The bed spring was broken and one side was higher. Pillows are a bit too soft if you have neck issues like me you'll need to puff it up. Would be nice to have medium profile pillow as an option. Late check-out was quoted for $2mill vnd but when we asked again it was $2.6, then $2.2 ( understand prices change but I think it should be flat or at least inform early on more what price to expect as a range).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location of the hotel itself in District 1 seemed to be in a bit more of a 'local' area as it is away from bars and shops, with lots of coffee places around. That said, it is very cheap to get around Ho Chi Minh via Grab (the Uber equivalent) so not so much of a problem. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The room was lovely. Check your room though because the photo for the room is not what you automatically get, Our room had one very small window above head height. It was quite light when open, but it is definitely not the picture on the front. There was a power cut while we were there on one afternoon and they put on snacks and a drink for the inconvenience.

Laundry is expensive compared to other places we stayed in Vietnam.

Beautifully-designed hotel and rooms throughout, with marvellous wood panelling lending a polished and luxurious feel throughout the property. Service was great, especially in the restaurant, and the front desk were always helpful. The Double Suite which we stayed in was spacious and there was plenty room for a baby cot to be set up. The kitchenette area was handy as well. The location was ideal - in District 1 but on a quiet, tree-lined avenue away from the mayhem - perfect for families. We'd definitely consider staying there again should we return to HCMC for another visit.

Here is how amazing the staff at Fusion Suites Hotel is: when I realized I forgot a personal item at the hotel, the team found the item, called a taxi to hand-deliver it to the airport ASAP before my flight, and even liaised with airport security on my behalf via WhatsApp. This is a testament to the team’s excellent service and friendliness. We found other aspects of our stay equally wonderful. Our room on the second floor was spacious and well-equipped, with a microwave, fridge and bowls which we found very convenient for late-night takeaway. The room decor includes very stylish wood-cabin style finishings and a spa-like bathroom. The breakfast buffet is really good and offers enough options to please everyone, from a classic western bacon & eggs and pastries to congee with tasty toppings. N/A - enjoyed everything

Loved the quiet location but yet still very close to points of interest. Also the housekeeping left a little packet of ginger treats on the bed which was so nice because we were fighting a cold.

Breakfast selection was just OK, also the bathtub (although aesthetically looking) is honestly a waste of space. Realistically you'd shower more and maybe use the bath tub once or twice on your holiday (we never bothered to run the bath). But ultimately the most annoying thing was that the shower has no door so you end up splashing water all over the bath mat and floors.

Good sized suites Bathroom was really spacious. One of the big gesture layouts I've seen for a hotel room. Staff was amazing. Always willing to help (luggage, bring food up to room, etc) Complimentary breakfast buffet was different everyday, and pretty good. We had a loud guest beside us, after we reported to the front desk, they spoke w/ them, and also followed up with us to ensure the noise level was resolved. 5⭐

Only thing (not really a big issue), the fan in the room.. Even though it had a variable switch for speeds, it was only 1 speed.
