New, modern, spacious rooms. Beautiful infinity pool on the edge of the sea. Good evening restaurant (although expensive) with extensive menu including vegetarian. Great location walking distance from many bars and restaurants.

All of the balconies were in the shade throughout the day. The pool area and sunbeds fell into shade early afternoon. Needs an evening cocktail bar separate from the restaurant. No beach although we knew that before we booked. We prefer buffet breakfast as small plates so we had to order seconds

Great breakfast choice with view on the ocean. 3 pools with direct access from ground floor rooms. Friendly staff. Rooms are kept clean all day. Everything you need nearby.

The cocktails were not good. Worth sending someone on a cocktail making course. The beach strip of the hotel is very small but we knew that before.

We loved the facilities, the infinity pool and closeby Spa building as Wellas the gym. The staff was exceptional and very sweet to our little one. We also loved the Green design and how the designers and architects of The Chill were able create a calm and rejuvenating oasis in which we always felt tranquility and positive energy. Also the activities offered by the resort were nice and gave a personal touch to our already overall very positive experience. On the last evening we were able to celebrate Loy Krathong and sent off little floats made out of ice to the sea…

Some parts, eg rooms of the stairs and floors, could perhaps get a modest overhaul in the next years….

Wow! We have been to Thailand multiple times and it’s known that the Thai are great people but the service at The Chill Resort is unmatched. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure we have a pleasant stay! We really enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and staying at the pool for the whole day!

Very inconvenient we experienced for the room on the top floor. The balcony is only accessible through the “living room” and not from the master bedroom. So when your kids at sleeping at night you have to pass them at night to chill on the balcony and although it’s a great place the price is just too high, we’ve spend €4500 for 10 nights but for that price we would expect a little more like included dinner or drinks. The room and the pool only is not justifying the price to be honest.

The villa is just amazing value for money. Very clean and spacious. All fhe staff were super attentive and the à la carte breakfast options were very nice. The special Loy Krathong buffet dinner experience was also unforgettable. All in all it’s a very calm and relaxing hide out on the shore of Koh Chang with plenty of other dinner options close by. They also offer complimentary kajaks.

If I start cherry picking an outdoor shower at the villa would be a nice add on. Beware that the tiny beach is only there during low tide.

The Chill was one of the best hotels I have stayed at due to the kind, friendly staff that made the stay with my young family so enjoyable. No requests too big or small, they do their best to help. Gorgeous view and lovely rooms. The breakfast was delicious and has a wide range available. Perfect location for me and my family, we will definitely return. Thank you! ❤️

Beautiful resort- we stayed in one of the pool side rooms and it was incredible to enjoy the pool without having to even leave our room. The sun mainly hits the main pool and the staff brought around fresh fruit to help us cool off! They have kayaks for use and the staff were really helpful setting us up with one (although the islets are deceptively far!)

Watch out for mosquitos as there is a lot of open water

Not the best beach as it has many rocks. Do be mindful if you’re after a beach vacation. But the pool is great. Charge of 1000Baht per night for a 2.5kilo dog is a bit excessive considering no pet facilities are provided.

This is our second visit to The Chill and our first visit during the green (low) season. We felt like we were on a private island. Everything was superb: the restaurant, the spa (thank you for al the massages and the products) , the staff - who continue their amazing service even though the resort is quiet - and it was wonderful to return to our happy place and break from reality. We will be back again. Thank you The Chill
