The hotel is perfectly located in a beautiful area right in the heart of the city, just steps away from excellent shopping, bars, and restaurants. It's also very well connected to major public transport routes and even boat tours. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked flawlessly.

I had to give a lower rating due to a significant issue with tiger mosquitos. On our first night alone, we had to kill over 15 mosquitos in the room. Despite not opening any windows or doors, more continued to appear each day, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. It seemed to be a building-wide issue, not just limited to our room. Additionally, the facilities were noticeably older than depicted in the photos. We also found it inconvenient that only one roll of toilet paper was provided during cleaning, we had to request more on two separate occasions.

We were given a room for handicapped people. Ok, that is strange because the hotel wasn’t full, but not a problem. To bad it did not smell very fresh.

Incredible value, great location and incredible staff, coupled with a superb facility. I've been traveling for years, and this is in my top ten percent. Excellent restaurants and transportation nearby, and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast is incredible and plentiful.Also a great value. I am normally not this effusive, but this place has earned it!

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The biggest appeal for us was its location. It's right next to a market and there is a choice of cafes/bars all around the hotel. It's right in the historic centre of the city with supermarkets 5-7 mins away and bus station/beaches easily accessible by public transport. The hotel itself is in an old, renovated building, which is quite charming. But the rooms are bright and modern with big windows. The room had all the various amenities in a compact manner - big comfortable bed, minibar fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, tv and wardrobe space. The bathroom was quite spacious. There are little lovely touches like complimentary water and mini chocolate treats in the room upon arrival. Rooms are cleaned daily with a towel change possible if you request it (by leaving towels on the floor). Our room was at the end of the hallway so we really didn't hear much noise from other guests/hotel and more of the city's sounds. We did not have breakfast in a hotel so cannot comment on that. The checkout is at 12, which is later than many hotels i've stayed at and we were also able to leave the luggage with reception after the checkout. Overall a very pleasant experience. Recommend for a bit of luxury.

Only minor small things to note. None of these have impacted our stay too much, but worth noting. My partner felt that the aircon was very weak. It happened to be a very hot end of September and we slept with the windows open all night (felt safe as we were on the third floor). One glass in the room was chipped and the bathroom bin was broken - we felt those were the details that can be easily replaced/updated for a more luxurious experience. There were kettle/tea bags in the room, but only espresso cups - we had to ask for a proper cup in a restaurant. Finally bathroom storage space was limited. There was a magazine in the room describing all the different hotels in the group, but it would have been more fitting to have a little guide on the city/region instead.

Our room corner suite with views and small enclosed balcony we could sit out on and have a coffee. The bedroom and bathroom both lovely and clean, the bed huge and so comfortable. We were on the 5th floor, lift availibilty good and no steps once out of the lift on our sute floor, groudn floor or the breafast room, so suitable for people with mobility issues or using a wheelchair. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and the staff continued to top up so anyone coming donw in the moring last minute were not disapointed. Staff in reception and the staff helping and serving the breakfast all so nice, professional and helpful. Final bonus is dog friendly and they provided a little doggy bowl with treats on arrival, nice touch for those who have to bring their dogs .. :)

We were very fortunate to be upgraded to a junior suite which was spectacular. The building has so much history and the four towers were the suites are located feel very special. Staff were very nice too.

No information in the room about the hotel facilities or the area around the hotel. Very little Lorrie’s on the bathroom for travellers… soap and shampoo only. The photos of the common areas aren’t that representative of the hotel. It shares the building with a private club and the common areas were mostly filled with the club members. A bit underwhelming compared to the photos.

Our spacious room was decorated beautifully, with 2 very comfortable queen beds, 2 large / high windows over looking the pedestrianised street below. We slept very well during our 3 night stay as the room was a good temperature, the beds were extremely comfortable and the windows and shutters when closed kept out both noise and light. The bathroom again was spacious with a large walk in shower with all the toiletries you could want or need! Each day, our towels were replenished, beds were made up with a chocolate left too, as well as cartons of water. We did not use any of the minibar / fridge contents, which seemed reasonably well stocked. We would choose to stay here again, without hesitation.

We paid for a superior room with balcony. Our room did not have a balcony.

A very comfortable room in a very stylish building in a very central location. Excellent buffet breakfast.

A slightly irritating noise from a running motor in the building which went on continuously.

Great position within easy walk to restaurants and bars and also the secure underground parking just round the corner (get the Telpark app and it’s easy to pre book). Very nice room on 5th floor facing the square at the rear of the property. Spacious, clean, great lighting and decor, massive tv, great shower and (at last on this trip) a decent makeup table for the missus with a good mirror. We did not have breakfast here as much better value 80M down the road.

Not a lot really. Yes there is building work going on outside the front of the hotel but this is hardly their fault and others who mark down for “not letting them know”, should read the reviews and ask for a room at the rear, as we did.
