The location was great & peaceful, surrounded by green space with a great view. The room was stylish & comfortable, the bathroom well-lit & spacious. We would have enjoyed the small terrace had the weather been better. The checkin staff were friendly. Covered parking area was great but small. There were comfortable areas with seating & a large terrace when the weather was nice (sadly not in our case). Gluten free bread was available.

Sadly the evening meal was what let this hotel down. It was buffet style, which for a hotel of this size & quality was disappointing - there is no upside to food being kept warm. Not only did our large group have to get up constantly to fill our plates which makes for a less than relaxing evening, especially as half the group of 10 were seated on a long bench which meant everyone had to move if someone wanted a refill, but not one member of staff came to offer us drinks or take away the dirty plates - we had to search out staff to get drinks! (the waiter seemed to be on his phone most of the time). Such a shame as we were disappointed by this. The indoor bar area was small & lacking any ambiance - it felt like an afterthought.

Very lovely hosts who made us feel at home. I really liked the menu as it listed all the major allergens. I was able to find a choice of options, even with a restricted diet. The room suited our needs and had a lovely large balcony.

The breakfast was basic continental. I would have preferred a hot breakfast option. Again, this is due to having a restricted diet. No kettle in the room or lift to access high floors

The location of the hotel was excellent sitting on the terrace watching the setting sun was fantastic.

At times the bar/restaurant staff appeared to be stressed which reflected in their service. At all other times and other staff the service was excellent.

Rooms were comfortable with a view on the town and the forest. Breakfast takes place in a great dining room, and has good options.

Unfortunately, the sauna and pool are located in another hotel, a short walk away - not ideal in winter. Entertainment at the hotel is directed towards older hotel guests, with a lot of religious elements, not families and children.

Perfect venue to enjoy the forest. very nice view. The hotel has a new area with modern very comfortable rooms. Breakfast ok.

Both pool and sauna belong to a clinic (3min away by walk) and make you feeling a bit intruder! I would have preferred to know in advance.

We stopped here for just one night on a return trip to Frankfurt form the Bodensee. It was my son and daughter-in-law, my two grandchildren ages five and six, and myself. We booked two rooms, which were bright, spacious, comfortable, and immaculately clean. The personnel couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful, from the reception and to the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. My son and granddaughter enjoyed the gym and swimming pool just a short walk from the hotel, and we had a wonderful dinner that evening in the hotel restaurant. There is a pleasant terrace for outside dining or drinking. We would have liked to stay here longer if we didn't need to get home the next day.

Great place to stay while on a motorbike tour. friendly, good facilities and helpful staff.
