Easy to find. Breakfast was really very good. Room was clean, comfy and everything you come to now expect from a holiday Inn.

Knowledge to get to Luxembourg airport was lacking from both members of staff we asked. I suspect most guests aren't coming from there. Location is a fair walk from the centre.

Clean, functional, friendly and helpful staff, great location, a 3 star hotel that is way better than many 4 star hotels. Relatively new and modern, good breakfast, huge value for money.

When parking spots run out, it isn't easy to find parking close by. Suggestion - arrive 30min before check in time, you will find parking. Sit and have a drink rather than leaving and coming back like we did.

Freindly & helpful staff. Usually enough parking in front of hotel, very handy. Good buffet breakfast and nice breakfast staff. About 25min walk to Xmas markt. Standard room very nice, excellent bathroom. Goods beds, clean.

Last year parking was free, this year parking was €5-€10 depending on membership IHG hotels. On Booking.com it said parking was free. No deal breaker but free parking was an added reason to book this hotel in years past. Some hotels nearer to town have paid parking also. Just to remind hotel management that their free & large parking was a pluspoint.

Our room was spacious, the same goes for the bathroom (I loved the sink and a lot of space around it to put stuff). Soundproofing, temperature in the room and bathroom, not steaming mirror after hot shower, tea and coffee in the room - great attention to details! Coffee at the breakfast was excellent. But still the most impressive thing about this hotel were people: all interactions with the hotel staff were exceptional (as Booking.com puts it - "exceeded expectations").

I would not recommend this hotel for a longer stay: not much space to put clothes; sitting arrangements in the room are not comfortable (a simple chair would do so much better!). Breakfast was ok, but not exciting (only scrambled eggs; some pastry i loved on the first breakfast was not available the next morning).

Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, the staff were really helpful and very polite, the cleaning service quite thorough. The hotel is 2 mins away from the river, and we really enjoyed our walk on Sunday afternoon. I also noticed the fact that the hotel staff are doing their best for the environment - no plastic bottles, the soaps are in refillable containers, towels are of a decent size but not huge.

Ideally, I would have liked not to have a carpet fitted in the room as it is impossible to keep it clean. We didn't bring our slippers with us, so it was tricky from the hygiene point of view. Other than that, there was absolutely nothing to complain about - the hotel is quite decent.

A compact room and good for a short stay. The room was clean and the bed okay. Breakfast was simple but with good products. Nice juice and good coffee. Rooms are very well isolated, so we did not hear any of the other guests.

The airconditioning wasn't working at all, hence the lower rating. The manager did offer another room, but with the same issue. Since it was one of the first warmer days, their airconditioning was still in 'winter-mode'. He did unlock our window so we could ventilate the room more. The room is advertised with airconditioning, so I do expect that to work regardless of the season.

- very limited amount of parking space, there's a free parking zone with a 5 min walking distance in a dodgy neighbourhood. And if you are able to park is the few parking spots in front of the hotel, there is a fee. - Hotel near a busy street, so opening a window is not really an option for the noise. Although if your window is closed, there is barely any sound! - my shower had fluctuating warmth/cold problems, but in the 2 other rooms of my family this was no issue. - 25 euros for a doggy is a bit on the higher end. It looks like I had a lot of issues, but the hotel is very nice with some minor problems..

We enjoyed our stay in Trier, it is a cool city to visit for a few days and much in a drive's reach, so we had a wonderful time. We did a lot of walking, 19000 steps to be exact per day, so one can imagine we saw a lot in our travels and experiences were wonderful. There are a few nice restaurants on a walk reach with a river view and the overall accommodation atmosphere is relaxing, chill down and enjoy. Trier, as the oldest city in germany is a nice place to see.

Well, we had to depart... When you're having a great time, those will come to an end, and that is what was disappointing. The hotel is amazing, so nothing disappointing..

Very well located to visit the town of Trier, about 10 minutes walking to the city center. It's next to a busy road, but we didn't have any issue with noise. Very clean room & bathroom Good shower Staff very polite and helpful Good breakfast with ample choices.

Parking is limited, so we had to park a little bit further up the road. No that big of a deal, only five minutes walking. If you don't have an app for that parking lot, prepare to bring some coins with you as it doesn't accept bills or cards. Personal, but we found the pillows way too soft.

Very much in line with our expectations from Holiday Inn. Affordable but comfortable enough. The breakfast was great, but there were so many people. Breakfast is very important. If you enjoy it, you will forget about other shortcomings.

There are not enough parking spaces in the hotel, don't even think about getting a parking space in front of the hotel. But we got a room on the ground floor, and the view outside the window was of cars that were lucky enough to get parking spaces. There's an invisible irony to this. Then you need a hearty breakfast to forget about this imperfection.
