I did not partake in the free breakfast. The facility was extremely clean and comfortable. It was my third stay. I would stay again.

Lots of road noise from Route 9. Some of the front desk staff did not say anything…hello, good morning, anything…

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Place in Poughkeepsie, NY. It is a beautifully designed hotel, and I can’t say enough good things about it. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the sleek, contemporary design. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Everything—from the crisp white linens to the gleaming bathroom surfaces—reflected a high standard of cleanliness. There was an area of the room with a coffee table. Common areas were bright and inviting. The lobby had a chic, lounge-like atmosphere, and there are 24/7 coffee and tea available. Staff members were friendly, professional, and eager to assist with anything that we needed—truly top-notch hospitality. Note that breakfast is not included but is available for an $11.00 fee. You can also get a limited meal for supper in the bar area. We did not have a chance to use the pool or fitness center, but were noted to be clean and an added bonus. We felt that this hotel was a good value

It was a great stopover for our trip. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and the front desk staff was kind, patient, and accommodating. Breakfast has a variety of options.

Booking was a little difficult as (1) the booking.com reservation took some time to reach the hotel, and (2) the hotel did not register that we had pre-paid for breakfast. They asked if we'd like to pay [again] for breakfast. It took another visit to the front desk to show them that we had already paid for breakfast. Note that this is one of the hotels with a translucent bathroom door through which the light shines. Anyone who is sharing a room is guaranteed to wake them up when they use the bathroom in the middle of the night. This must have been a cool idea in theory, but I roll my eyes when I see doors like this in hotels.

It was in the center of town but still very quite!

Nothing the property was great! My only dislike was the people in the room upstairs of us were stopping and running back and forth yelling all night and morning long. My 6 month old daughter got about 3 hours of sleep broken up through out the night due to this. As well as we went to the pool for a bit and the pool was full of children like 8-9 kids and one adult. The entire time we were in the pool they were all just splashing and jumping in the pool after only a few minutes in the pool we decided to leave due to being backed in a corner being splashed. (Again this is nothing against the hotel. Just poor manors from other guests)

The property seemed new and was generally well kept and clean. The location on the road is a bit tricky to navigate, depending on what direction one is going when one is leaving the hotel property.

The property is fine. My complaint is with booking.com as we had booked a king size bed but when we arrived, staff explained that king rooms were sold out. My husband and I had to make do with 2 queen/full beds. Also, fellow guests traveling with dogs should transport their dogs in a carrier, not on a leash inside the hotel.

Best breakfast I've had at this kind of hotel in a long time. Staff was also super nice. Overall a very positive experience.

The rooms have one of those boxes on the wall that doesn't provide power to the room unless there's a room key in it. I've never seen that in the US before, but it is common overseas and feels very cheap. Fortunately, with two room keys and one person, it doesn't matter. The shower's water pressure and temperature were wildly inconsistent. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were all imprisoned on the shower wall instead of free to roam.

I stayed here while dropping off my daughter at Vassar for an event. The hotel was wonderful and a very spacious and comfortable room. Way more than I needed and I like the little living room area. The bathroom was wonderful and the beds very comfortable. What really got me was the great breakfast... WAY better than average. Bravo

Really no complaints about the hotel at all, it was fantastic... I wish the one-way stretch of road it was on was a little easier to navigate. (like a light allowing left turns!)

Everything!!!!! From the staff to the room to the breakfast to the location, best stay I've had at a hotel hands down! I would stay here a million times over!

The only thing I would change was the temperature of the pool. It was a bit chilly but that may be for some people. It was literally below 0 when we went to visit so maybe that had something to do with it but the room for the pool was very warm so I can see why people may enjoy it but it was too cold for me. Otherwise nothing bad to say!

The location has restaurants and eateries closeby. The rooms were neat and modern. The staff were very friendly and check in was super easy

The breakfast options could have been better. A few more options in the menu would be good. A few suggestions could be, along with cut fruit if whole fruits like oranges/bananas/apples were included, it would have been nice. Also, if packed yoghurt cups are available instead of a big bowl to serve from would have been nice.

Property was lovely as was the large room. Very clean and front desk staff was very hospitable.

Feel like we paid too much but given it was graduation time. We had to. Also, I didn’t care for the cleaning staff. No one made out beds or provided new towels on Saturday at all. We left the room on Saturday at 8:45 am and did not come back til 6 pm yet the cleaning staff had not been in the room to straighten up and provide another set of towels.
