This was such a cool, quirky room! Exposed brick walls and great colour scheme, with a big bath as well. It was just out of the main part of town so we could easily walk to restaurants, pubs, shops and parks.

Great location, right in town. Everything is located within walking distance, Pubs, shops, restaurants, post office, pharmacy, bakery etc., big IGA just around the corner. Motel also has a pool, great for kids. Sightseeing stuff also within walking distance. Coffee machine, toaster, kettle and microwave are available in the room.

Parking spots within the motel aren’t assigned for each room, everyone literally can park anywhere, so you are either lucky enough to get a parking spot after going out for dinner or nothing at all and you have to park outside. Parking outside was fine, there are plenty of parking spots available outside the motel, however the parking spots within the motel should be assigned for each room for the price you pay. Rooms have basic kitchen utilities, however a cutting board and/ or dishwashing liquid and/ or some salt and pepper would be great as some people stay longer than one night. Some hair conditioner would have been great, we only had soap and 2 little hair shampoos upon arrival. Most of the other motels we stayed at provided shampoo and conditioner.

The property is in a great location, close enough to walk to everything yet quiet. There was plenty of room with a comfy seating area, a table and chairs and breakfast making facilities (the supermarket is just round the corner!). A very clean room and fluffy towels are provided!

I personally found the bed far too soft, obviously not as issue if that’s your preference and it wouldn’t stop me staying again. I would suggest making the areas outside under the awnings smoke free. I had opened the window for some fresh air but someone was smoking a few doors down and the breeze blew the smoke straight in.

Perfect location within minutes walk to main street/sights. Quiet. Room was a good size and, while not super-modern, was well equipped with microwave, kettle, coffee. High ceilings, good aircon and bonus ceiling fan made it very comfortable on a hot day. Front desk staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Parking is easy, both within hotel grounds as well as on-street.

Position & Location within the town amazing. Short walk to Bilson's Brewery and Beechworth Bakery. Has a lovely lake not too far of a drive away in the town. Kids didn't use accommodation pool as there was debris at the bottom of the pool, possibly of the local Elm trees. Parking is great be even better if people stick to the ones directly outside their room. Has everything you need within a stay and coffee pod machines which is a bonus! Was really happy with our choice of accommodation. Property manager was friendly.

Very minor thing.,... The beds against the walls may need pulling out to vacuum along the walls and carpet by house keeping, where dust gets trapped, helpful for guest with dust allergies and for those who accidentally drop their phones etc then have to reach down and grab along with hand covered in dust. They are clean units however and I could not find anything else I didn't like. It was a fantastic affordable place to stay.

Big room. Comfy bed. Great pillows. Tv had every streaming app you could think of and a large screen. 2 armchairs as well as a small table with 2 chairs. Great location away from main road so was very quiet. Only a handful of guests that night too. Very helpful owner when I locked myself out of room. Great water pressure in shower and hot.

With all the interior brickwork the room was dark

The Motel is ideally located in the town of Beechworth; close to the main street. There was ample parking on-site. The room was quite comfortable with good facilities.

Generally, there was nothing that I didn't like. I had a colleague stay with me for a couple of nights and it would have been handy to have a second key rather than having to juggle possession all of the time.

Great location. You can walk to everything. Old and dated motel but very comfortable and big fridge and good shower, high ceiling was very nice.

I was gonna pay by cash and get my ABN for my receipt but they charged to my card which I made booking with before our arrival. When we arrived, I saw office was open but the Signage said room is ready so go straight to the room. I prefer talking in person first then pay if booking status says “ pay at the property.”

Just a suggestion… need more than 1 table near the pool. The 1 and only table was often being used when we thought we might like to sit and enjoy the area and the people there were smokers … we are not .

The room was good - large, comfortable and everything worked.

I know it sounds trivial, but the toilet roll holder was very odd in that it made a loud screeching noise as the sheets were pulled. A most unusual design - not at all conventional and oddly located. Also in the bathroom, the hot water took forever to come through as hot, although once running properly, the water was very hot and okay.
