Great staff, large rooms, great bathroom, all facilities present.

If you wish to sleep at night on Fridays or weekends and you prefer to sleep with an opened window rather than the aircon on, ask for a room at the back. The front rooms are noisy those nights due to the hotel's (great!) location on the main square with cafés etc in Emmeloord. But even that is a minor issue considering all the good things this place has to offer.

The hotel is attractive both inside and out. It is well furnished and stylish. It was exceptionally clean and very well kept. It is in an excellent location and has the benefit of parking outside in the square. The staff that we met were friendly and our requests were no trouble to them. The bar has a lovely atmosphere and was perfect for a drink at the end of a long day.

Nothing at all.

Very comfy and large bed. Water boiler and coffee machine in room. Good AC and heat. Very spacious room. Everything like new. Fast internet, extensive Breakfast buffet. Free parking in lot before Hotel. Mall shopping around the corner.. excellent restaurant in house.

Heat radiator is behind curtains. To have heat through the night...position a chair near window and place curtains over it .. very few clothes hooks in bathroom.

The location was perfect. Close to busses, shops, and restaurants and easy to get on your bicycle to surrounding areas! Also, nice buffet breakfast and you can hire bicycles from the hotel, so superconvenient.

Hotel was nice and clean. They did not have a fridge in the room, nor a hairdryer or ironing board/ironing, but maybe you could ask for the latter.

Breakfast way more than great. Restaurant was very clean; food was very good and presented nicely. The staff was very helpful due that I don't speak Dutch. All the staff that I came in contact with help me with my English and the Dutch.

The only problem I had in the room was the bed. The matures needs to be replaced. I was always rolling to one side during the night,

The hotel was a wonderful place to stay in Emmeloord. We were greeted with a very friendly staff at check-in who also helped to book the bicycles (remember to book in advance, especially during the peak periods). The room was very spacious and superbly comfortable. Some rooms may be more exposed to noise from the street and restaurant/bar, but the room we stayed in was really fine and had no issues. We loved that the hotel is also very central in Emmeloord and within walking distances to shops and food, and within cycling distance to many of the beautiful tulip fields in the area.

It's hard for me to pick an issue, but if I had to make some points: The breakfast provided was really nice but I think some signs on the food and drinks would have been good. A bit more clarity on the charges for the bike rental rates would have also been good.

Had asked for twin beds but given double with bed one duvet cover. The woman at the desk was very helpful and arranged to get separate duvet covers.It was also good to have somewhere to securely park our bicycles. Good breakfast.

room was very warm. this made sleeping difficult. Made adjustments to air-conditioning but this took a while to be effective.

If you want to be in the middle of the town, this is the right place to stay. It was surprisingly quiet, although the very next night will be a carnival in front until 8 May. So glad we missed it by one day! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast and adjoining restaurant were good. Also, the shower was hot with good pressure and the bed was comfortable.

The lighting in the room was very dim, especially in the bathroom, which made it not usable for anything. Also, the shower is an open space, like part of the main bedroom. No privacy at all. The decor was not my preference, but I'm sure some people like it.

Great big room and huge bed! Very nice shower and bathroom. Breakfast good with the "standard" offerings : scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese etc. Restaurant descent with classic menu and cocktaols - seems to attract also locals. Really all nice. Easy and free parking across the building..

Nothing not to like

After a long day on a boat in Gietheroon, we found this hotel. A spacious modern room, with a kettle and coffee machine. No refrigerator in the room, but it is possible to put food in the hotel's kitchen. Breakfast is quite good. 15 euro pp.There are some nice restaurants nearby. Free Parking.

The bathroom has no door. Twin beds. The hotel is near the town square and the bells are ringing every 15 minutes.
