The building and rooms look very new, and the room itself is quite spacious. The front desk staff and housekeeping team were very friendly. Since we have different sleeping habits, they even provided us with an extra single duvet, which was very thoughtful. There’s a bar on the ground floor where people gather to chat—it creates a warm and relaxing atmosphere.

One small downside is that the shower door is transparent, which could be a bit awkward if you're staying with friends. Fortunately, you can use the bathroom door and a towel for some extra privacy.

The hotel is new, so everything is new. The room is quite spacious for a double room. More than the photos indicate. The bed is king-sized and slept comfortably. The hotel is also right across the Waterloopbos. It's 20 minutes to Giethoorn. It's a perfect base to explore the region.

It is in the middle of nowhere. So if you don't have a vehicle, it will be tricky to get around. There are no restaurants or stores nearby. There could have been more on offer for breakfast. And the staff could show a bit more enthusiasm for guests.

Fine hotel. Remotely located but if you need to be in the vicinity it is a great hotel to stay. It is located next to a nature reserve so you can go out for a nice stroll in the woods and fields en get some fresh air. I can recommend it. Breakfast is very complete with different styles of breakfast available. Good restaurant and bar in the evening. Rooms are clean and modern. Netflix and Youtube one TV available. Rooms are quiet and a comfortable bed. Will defintley stay here again when I'm visiting in the vicinity.

Very nice room. For a junior suite it was quite basic. There is no fridge (as stated on the facilities section of the website) however it would really benefit from having one. Everything was clean, the restaurant was fantastic as was the service.

There is very little in terms of reception area and other communal areas, this was definitely felt during peak check in/check out times and when waiting around the area. Missed a fridge, but that was stated in facilities.

The hotel is well located in a peaceful and quiet surrounding, away from urban areas, with ample parking. It was for us the ideal place to arrive on Friday evening and do daytrips to Schokland and the wider area on the following weekend days. The forest next to the hotel, with its interesting history (engineering models for waterworks,...) was a welcome and surprising plus. Even on a rainy Sunday, we enjoyed a long walk there on the concrete paths. Everything felt brand new (and was brand new in fact). The breakfast was great, and also the DuCo restaurant offers great diner options, which we gladly used. Comfort of the roomy hotelrooms is high level, and the choice of colours in the rooms and hotel creates a relaxing atmosphere. Also to be mentioned of course is the very friendly and professional staff who make the picture perfect! Thank you!

Being so excellent into the details, I would recommend that the use of paper cups to be avoided for the tea and coffee as its not so sustainable and not to handle. A better option either would be to opt a eco friendly mugs.

There is absolutely nothing to fault here. We booked a family room which meant two adjacent rooms with a door (actually two doors) from inside the room connecting the two rooms. This was on the ground floor. We stayed for two nights (me, hubby and kids 12 and 11). The rooms are brand new, clean, the water was warm enough, the sink did not bother us that it wasn't inside the bathroom but I actually found it useful there and found it smart how they used the space. There are four cups of coffee per day in each room :-). We had a lovely view and sunshine through the big terrace doors in the morning. By the way booking.com says there is no WiFi but of course there was WiFi and the signal was good. If there had been none I would have been shocked for this day and age not to have free internet access. The location is remote but exactly what we needed. Surrounded by greenery, lovely peaceful nature. Five mins walking distance there is a big park which unfortunately we didn't get to visit. We managed to visit the villages nearby and they were magnificent. For cyclists and hiking fans surely this is the perfect location. Amsterdam is about 1h 20mins away by car. There is a gorgeous village nearby called Giethoorn which is about 20mins drive. Absolutely worth visiting! Breakfast at the hotel was varied enough. There was different types of breads incl. fresh loafs, croissants, toasts etc. Cereal, fruit, jams, butters, eggs etc. Coffee was great! All in all we would gladly stay here again on a long weekend!

Located in a pond next to the old hydrological research centre this building from the sixties with its concrete look, has been fully remodelled and modernized. Nice couches and surroundings created in the main entrance and the hallways. Plenty of parking space and possibility to stall your bikes and bicycles. All rooms have a balcony overlooking the pond and they have a lot of space. They are modern and supplied with a safe and coffeemaker. Good beds and perfect shower. The restaurant offered a special asparagus menu due to the season. We assume they do more of these specialties. The normal dishes have a decent variety and there is the possibility of the chef's choice in meat, fish or vegetarian (recommendable). With the option of strolling alongside the old research objects in the moors and woodlands and the good cycling options, this new (opened at 31 March 2023) hotel is an excellent extra for the Fletcher brand.

The lights for reading at the seats and for shaving at the wash basin are faint and don't really help. Another strange matter is that they demand immediate payment of the room (even when we had given a credit card guarantee) though you can charge bar and restaurant on the room. That are basically all remarks we have.

The hotel room was clean and spacious - quiet with a nice balcony. Close to Giethoorn and other places of interest within 15-20 minutes drive. The shower is not separated by a door so we had to keep the entrance clear when one took a shower.

Breakfast was a bit expensive for what you get (about 50€ for a family of 4) - so we skipped it.

Great, quiet location. Very good food and nice restaurant area, including the terrace. Great bar with lots of drink options. Pleasant and helpful staff especially reception and bar. Extremely spacious rooms (compared to other hotels in same price range). If we ever visit the area will definitely stay again. Online pictures do not really do much justice to the establishment.

Same food menu. A tad more varied menu would have been great but otherwise not much negative to say about the hotel.
