The host is very friendly and kind. The neighbourhood is very quiet, safe and tidy (but Kampen looks incredibly safe in general). There is a nice supermarket nearby. My apartment was spacious, very clean, the bed is very large. The main shopping street is just minutes away. They offer bathrobes and shower caps.

The pillows were literally huge and very thick. I had to put my head at the very edge, otherwise my neck would hurt.

The bed nice and comfortable. The bathroom cosy with charming style. We loved that we could make own tea, coffee, or small meals in the well-kitted out kitchen section of our room, with microwave, kettle and fridge. More than anything the couple who host are truly very lovely, kind and extremely welcoming. We highly recommend De Stadsboerderij!

We really enjoyed our stay at De Stadsboerderij in Kampen. Highlights included the spacious room, delicious breakfast, refreshing ginger tea, warm friendly hosts and their gorgeous dog. It’s also very bicycle-friendly—we were able to securely store our bikes in a locked garage. A unique and welcoming place to stay—highly recommended!

It was a comfortable quaint room in an old building which had been converted to a hotel. I would venture to say no rooms were alike and ours was really like staying in a part of a private house. That said the room was large and comfortable with all facilities a traveler would need. Our hosts were very helpful, arranged parking for us and advised us on local restaurants etc. They provided an excellent and extensive home cooked breakfast, The hotel was very centrally located.

The apartment was beautiful, there was one big room with a double bed and a third bed in the living room. Everything was very clean and tidy. There was a kitchen equipped with pans, pots so that you can cook if you want. There was also the coffee machine and coffee pods were provided and there was also the kettle for the tea. The bathroom was big, with a big shower, and they also provide shower gel, shampoo and body lotions. The family running the business is very kind and sweet, they prepared us an amazing breakfast and they were very welcoming.

The property was clean and the decor was fun…and gezellig and very quiet. It was right in the heart of the beautiful city, close to everything i wanted to explore. Lee and her husband were lovely people.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

Breakfast was amazing! My friend said they were the best scrambled eggs she ever had. Fresh squeezed orange juice was so so good, and bread bought daily at bakery was delicious. Room was beautifully decorated. My friend wants to bring her husband back from U.S. to stay in the exact same room -- Geertruidt. Jeroane and his beautiful wife Lee are the best!

It would be important for people to know that this is a very old building. The heat and electricity and updates work very well, but the floors were a bit uneven and the stairs were very narrow and might be difficult for some to navigate. If you're able to climb and enjoy a unique wonderful property this is definitely a great choice!

Our stay was too short for how great the B&B was. Lovely hosts, helpful and open. Great variety at breakfast for all types of dietary preferences. The room with small kitchenette was a delight and all the details of the room gave it an extra sense of cosines and charm. Kampen was also a gem, worth well more then the day we had.
