Perfect location, 5min walk to the park's entrance. At night it felt like we were in the middle of the jungle with the all the jungle sounds. Truly one of the highlights of the trip. (I'd recommend doing a sunrise hike in the park as well). Good restaurant and breakfast options. Very nice swimming pool and pool area. Room was very clean and spacious. Each bed had a mosquito net and all the windows too.
Electricity only available at certain times (6:00-8:00, 12:00-14:00, 18:00-20:30 -> or similar), this meant a super hot room at night as the ceiling fans didn't work. We used our powerbanks to charge our phones. Water pressure/temperature wasn't the best. If you're sensitive to insects inside the room, maybe just stay at another location outside of the park, it's inevitable and they will find a way inside (think spiders, gekos etc) -> not a problem for us at all, just a remark.

Huge bungalows next to the pool. Very patient and helpful people who explained us everything we needed to know about the tickets and everything for our visits of the ruinas. Our guide Nixon, organised by the hotel for the tours was great. Be aware that you need cash for the tickets and you can buy them only at the entrance of the park. Online is not possible with foreign credit cards! My husband needed an electric plug for a medical device in the room and they made it happen. There is electricity in the rooms 24 hours. The restaurant closes at 21 pm. The hotel is surrounded by nature and we loved it. We saw monkeys and lots of birds there. The pool is great after visiting the ruinas. Everyone in the hotel by was every friendly and welcoming, we had a great time!
Nothing to complain about

The location is easy walking distance from the Tikal entry checkpoint. Reception staff were very helpful (and spoke good English !), the room - poolside - spacious and comfortable, if very warm. Restaurant food was ok, the staff again friendly and helpful.
The information supplied on Tikal tickets (automatically I think) added to the confusion. I was under the impression I needed park tickets to get to the hotel, which is not the case. The hotel is located in the park and is effectively off-grid. Solar installations provide light and fans in the rooms, but not A/C, it takes a while for the air to cool at night. The power supply in the rooms is only a USB plug point, devices may have to be charged at Reception. Like many places in the region, red wine is served at room temperature - ie blood heat !

The lush jungle around here is gorgeous. If you are interested in Nature, come here. We saw Toucans and other exotic birds, the spider monkeys have their sleeping trees 20 m behind the hotel. Howler monkeys are also around here and it is a show to watch them when they mark their territory. The hotel rooms are extremely clean, no bugs inside. The Palapas are spacious, the food in the restaurant is fresh, nice and reasonably priced. The staff is very nice, but only the Hotel manager speaks English. It's wonderful to take a refreshing bath in the Pool after an exhausting walk through Tikal and to sip a cold beer. Clear recommendation for this nice hotel.
Our plugs for loading our mobiles didn't work properly, so it's good to bring a fully loaded powerbank. The palapas are quite hot, the fan doesn't really bring relief. But the pool does...

The room was OK, the bed fairly comfortable, with a mosquito net. The bathroom was adequate but could use an update. There was no need really to put me in a room with three beds when I was on my own. There were shelves to be used. I asked the kitchen staff if I could have a cup of hot water to mix a coffee packet and they cheerfully agreed. The reception staff were also kind and helpful. The pool was nice to use on the hot days after walking in Tikal Park.
There was only one electrical plug in my room and I couldn’t charge my phone or power bank because my plug wouldn’t stay in the holes. I had electricity only a couple of hours during my stay, which may be standard for the hotels there. There were no cushions on the plastic lounge chairs around the pool, which was quite uncomfortable. There were lots of mosquitoes outside, especially in the evening. Would it be impossible to find an environmentally friendly insect spray? My feeling was that the hotel was much too expensive; I stayed at other hotels in different cities that cost half as much and were better. It could use an update. There was a restaurant, but I didn’t eat there.

I was very positively surprised by Tikal Inn after having read mixed reviews. The reception staff were so polite and gave me very good advice. The room was spacious and clean and the shower hot. At night 9-6 there is no electricity but the room had windows on both sides so there was a nice breeze and slept fine. There were big mosquito nets around the bed. The swimming pool was big and refreshing and the area around it very beautiful with tall trees with lots of birds. I woke up early and was at the Tikal gate at 6 am and did my own tour. For two hours it was very quiet and saw many animals and birds.
At some point a renovation will be needed.

The location of Hotel Tikal Inn is perfect, a few minutes of walking from main gates to Tikal. My bungalow was spacious and the hot water for the shower was very good and a treat. They are on a self generated system for electricity so be prepared. They have an outlet next to the bed for usb charging your phones. A small led flashlight or using yr phone for illumination will be needed as power is time restricted. And the food in their restaurant was reliable and the small menu was fine for my 2 night stay. Recommend you book sunrise or sunset tour and use the hotel guide, he,was very good. Their is a shuttle collectivo service to and from Tikal to Flores but hard to get a consistent time schedule. The hotel morning delivery driver at 6:15 am brings daily supply of tortillas and I got a ride to the Flores airport for my morning flight Zfor $ 90 QTZ. It is almost a 2 hour drive with several passenger pickups and drop offs of locals. The hotel can arrange a private taxi which is affordable if you are several people -$45 USD.

Lovely helpful staff, nice pool and very comfy beds. It’s great to be so close to Tikal, and the food was good value. Nixon, the guide arranged by the hotel, was fabulous.
Be aware that you must have a guide to go into Tikal for both the sunrise and sunset times. You also need to buy a ticket separately. This isn’t totally clear and the ticket office is 6km from the site. It is possible get a local to buy online , but you will probably end up paying a bit more. The hotel can arrange guides. Also be aware that whilst the day ticket says it’s up to 6pm, you actually need to leave the main site at 5pm, in order for you to be out by 6pm. Back to the hotel… It wasn’t a problem for me but there were a lot of families there with loud children.

Beautiful place to stay and relax in Tikal National Park Entrance gate to Tikal only 5 minute walk across car park from here. Pool was fabulous lots of sun loungers and umbrellas with shallow end and deep end. Gorgeous bungalow with pool view and mosquitoe nets over the beds.Free water refill area. Place and accommodation is True to photos on Booking.com
Maintenance work went on for 3 and half hours on day we arrived so had to complain about the noise but they did however apologie and gave us a late check out which was nice. For the price you pay breakfast should really be included. Apart from that nothing negative about here

Location is priceless. Staying within walking distance of Tikal was perfect especially for getting into the park for sunrise, coming back for breakfast and a break then returning. My kids also spent alot of time in the pool. The staff could not have been kinder. They were willing to do whatever they could do to make your stay better. The key chains for the room are the symbol of Tikal which are a cute little touch. Water is available in the lobby all the time.
The beds are not very comfortable. The restaurant staff spoke zero English so ordering meals was a bit challenging at times.
