This is a city centre hotel with its own bakery downstairs. Although breakfast is not included there was a great choice in the hotel cafe along with a great selection of cakes. The staff were super friendly and the room was clean and relatively quiet. I great hotel and I would thoroughly recommend it.

There was building work going on in the street where the hotel was located which caused some noise as my room overlooked this and required the navigation of scaffolding, nothing to do with the hotel but a bit of an inconvenience. This shouldn't cause any issues in the future for anyone else.

Our second stay at the excellent Hotel Sauce. Close to bus stops and also to the river; a few steps from the Goya museum and the Cathedral and museum of Caesar Augustus are around the corner (do the three-site Roman walking tour, get tickets from the amphitheatre or Augustus museum - also includes the Gargallo Museum which we highly recommend for lovers of sculpture). Breakfasts at the Sauce are wonderful (the Tortilla is the best) and their coffee shop has homemade cakes (famous for it). El Tubo district is a few metres away - try El Balcon for proper Tapas and Raciones (huge, beware). Thanks to the lovely staff at Sauce for making our stay special again

Wonderful location. Walking distance to points of interest and bus stops. Comfortable room with great air conditioning. Friendly staff. Close to "el tubo" district for great tapas. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area. Only a few blocks from the river. Free in-room safe.

Lots of noise. Just about every morning around 8:30 there was a loud sound of drilling or hammering. It didn't last long, just enough to wake me up. A small refrigerator would be really nice, especially since it was 107° F, 42° C during my stay.

This is a truly Lovely Hotel, perfectly located just around the corner of the Plaza del Pilar, and almost next door to the Goya museum. From the moment you walk through the door, you are met with a warm welcome, and the owners are very informative about Zaragoza. The Cafe in the Hotel is great, and you are spoilt for choice in what you can have for Breakfast. The room was very quiet, and spacious, with a very comfortable Bed. During our stay was the Fiesta del Pilar week long of amazing Music & Dance. A big Thank you to the owners of Sauce Hotel. :)

Nothing at All !!!!

Very well located hotel with a nice cafe downstairs. Room was somewhat small but very clean and adequate for a three night stay. Bed was large and the mattress was very comfortable although all pillows were too high and firm for us (it's subjective after all). Friendly and helpful staff. The two sets of double-glazed windows removed most of the noise from the bustling street below so our sleep wasn't affected.

There were major renovations happening in the building next door during the day time but they didn't affect us too much.

The location is of Hotel Sauce is really central making walking the city very easy and comfortable. Our room was small (think Parisienne style) but was very comfortable with air con that was quiet and effective given that it hit 41 C at times during our stay. Very good bed. Room was cleaned every day. Breakfast was not included but a lovely cafe attached to the hotel serves very good breakfast and brunch options. The staff in both the cafe and hotel were extremely nice, helpful and friendly.

Amazing location and nice hotel there is a but to be aware of the hotel has on its first 2 floors a really, really popular with locals a really nice cafe and Patisserie the negative being that the hotel has forsaken any foyer or common area to relax in for 5 minutes... while you can't really book a breakfast included the instruction is that there are 'breakfast options available'.... there are and there is a wonderful little menu but it is a victim of it's own success and you can find yourself literally been in a very long queue to get breakfast! Worth it when you get it but if you prefer a breakfast included type accomodation this may not be it! Feels terrible to have anything negative to say because it is only about our expectations were different! What is on offer is really, very good 👍

on Sunday morning I really would have just liked to sleepily walk down to a breakfast room... we did but the place was packed with public for the great breakfast! we decided to leave and go look for alternatives as we had a half hour wait! There should really be a way of communicating from rooms to Cafe to reserve a time slot☝️

Extremely supportive staff - kind and helpful. The facilities and hygiene were of a good quality. Perfectly located close to the cathedral and the lions bridge. Very quiet on the top floor with a good night's rest guaranteed. Our room on the top floor had an inclined ceiling, which for tall people might cause some inconvenience. However we were duly informed well in advance by the hotel staff and given the opportunity to change the room. We did not and were fine even though my son is 2m tall.

Nothing to complain about.

We loved everything about this friendly hotel. Neither that staff nor the location could have been better. Being able to come back to a lovley cafe or downstairs in the morning for a delicious breakfast was very nice. The hotel was so close to everything we wanted to see. And the windows are "magic". Open them and you can hear all the street noises which during Fiestas del Pilar were both loud and frequent but closed there was not a sound. Our friends were 2 doors down so we were able to be close.

The fact that we could not stay longer was our only regret.

Great location for historic district. This is an older building but with a modern refurbishment. Sadly the airport bus does not stop very near, an overpriced taxi is the easy option, or go to the train station and pick up a taxi there for less than 10 euros. Good coffee shop attatched to the hotel, offering snacks and breakfast almost all hours. The staff are helpful and have reasonable English. Our second visit and would happily return in future.

Links to airport need planning ahead. Car park available but in historic Quarter, narrow one way streets might add to your stress if bringing a car.
