Listen, we knew what we were getting when we booked this room. It felt like staying at a cabin- very basic, clean, pretty outdated but definitely spacious and cozy. The location was awesome to visit VC, but we stayed for a weekend event in Reno and it was awesome to get out of the crazy city and the short 30ish minute drive was totally worth it. Awesome little place.

Not all of the shades/shutters worked very well and they were pretty dusty, so having to finagle them closed at night was a little messy, but not a big deal by any means.

Great location on the main street of town. Comfortable bed with nice blanket. Coffee maker, microwave and small refrigerator in room. Three small dining room type chairs in room. Nice decor with vintage mining pics and a few pieces of vintage mining equipment in room.

Shower is very small like an RV shower. Heating unit is a little noisy when it comes off and on. Easier to just use by leaving fan on. Would be nice to have small luggage cart to open luggage on versus putting on floor. Sent two messages to owner in the Booking.com app that were never answered. Got a text to phone on arrival day with instructions.

Clean, rustic and endearing & quaint, close to the town, parking at front door, terrific water pressure (lol)…. AND had wild horses in the back yard area ((THANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOR HAVING GRASS TO FEED THEM!))❤️❤️ AWESOME

We were a bit disappointed about the “stated modern amenities” yet there was no hair dryer” which put a crimp in things..but managed. Disappointed also that there was no dresser or closet to place your clothes,.. just a few wall hooks by the bed. Regardless, we had a happy feeling and felt great staying there!

The room seemed clean & adequate. Price seemed fair nowadays. Easy check in and check out. Nice manager.

Neighbor next door in corner frequented going outside just outside their front door to smoke a cigarette...carried on loud conversation, perhaps on phone or speaking louder to partner in room thru open door, I don't know. It was the only annoying thing about them that I recall. (the one on the other side was quiet) My room, perhaps others, could use a light above the cabinet where micro is for light food prep. That area was dark.

The rooms are adorably sweet in their charm and simplicity. I especially loved the Immigrant room with its jacuzzi tub!! As I was a late arrival the staff contacted me about my rooms via text and arranged for my check-in remotely and left the keys in a lock box with simple instructions. Short drive to town so the location is awesome. Will definitely stay here again the next time we come this way!

Very clean, the staff was great but I didn't actually meet any of them. They handled my check in without any fuss because I was getting into town late. The room was clean and nice, nothing broken. Beds were a little old but definitely still comfy. Heater worked great! My room has the strangest shower doors I've ever seen but it was fine and The shower worked fine too. Definitely a good place to stay in a ghost (ish) town!

No complaints! No problems or issues that needed to be addressed. No extras or fancy amenities but I wasn't expecting anything extra anyways.

The bathroom sink had fairly slow drain so had to be careful when using. Also wish they would provide more than 2 towels. (Women with long hair need 2 not one). Other than that it was great value for the price. Would stay again.

Really friendly staff/owner. This is a family owned hotel - David and his wife are really nice hosts and gave us a quick overview of where to go sightseeing within the city. The room was brightly painted, clean, well designed. The bed was comfortable. There's a microwave and a fridge in the room.

The hotel is slightly outside of town, so the first 500 ft to the nearest lit town intersection is on the side of the road. A little uncomfortable to walk at night. But overall it wasn't too bad.

Everything, this place is a gem. It was easy to find, heaps of parking, check in was easy. And the room was a "WOW". The bed was so comfortable, the room was huge. We stayed in the horse room. Well designed. We stayed 2 nights. The gardens were well kept, grass was green. It is obviously well loved by the owners

There wasn't a single thing we could complain about

Our family stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Room was very clean, beds were comfortable for our family. We had a great stay and would come again. The hotel was very nice. Loved the curb appeal! Western theme rooms match the town. And it was only a short walk to Virginia City Too!

I can't complain much. The only thing I didn't like is that the parking spaces are a little tight, especially for larger vehicles. There is a space behind the hotel if you have a bigger vehicle though.
