Friendly staff. Beautiful hotel. Big pool.

The pool was too warm. Does not give you a refreshing feeling when going for a swim. One is the highlights of the hotel is that it’s right by the beach, however the beach was not clean. Full of rubbish, and not really enjoyable to go for a swim.

Location of Bali Beach Hotel is pretty good as it has a huge private beach with plenty of sun lounges and only a five minute walk along the beach promenade before you come across all of the wonderful bars and restaurants. The swimming pool is massive and we never found it difficult to grab a comfy poolside sun loung.There are bluetooth Waiter paging buttons on your sun lounge so easy to get pool side service. The swimming pools in Bali are renowned for getting unrefreshingly warm in the open sun, however I love that this pool is actually cooled. There are dozens of floor vents pushing out cooler water, keeping the pool at a reasonably refreshing temperature. The buffet breakfast provided is amazing with personalised service and fantastic selections. There was continuous on site renovations happing during our stay, but this had little impact on our comfort. Standard rooms are compact but very comfortable.

Nothing big, but considering this is a newly refurbished five star hotel, it was surprising to see the low quality finishes in our room. Sloppy paint work, bathroom tap fittings not attached cleanly to tiles, balcony strip lighting missing. This may have only been our room, #2335. All of the public areas however was spectacular and grand to walk through.

Absolutely fantastic hotel at the quieter end of Sanur. Everything about this hotel is wonderful, it oozes luxury and relaxation. The breakfasts are the best I have ever experienced…so much gorgeous fresh food, from lots of cuisines. The staff are superb and go out of their way to do everything possible to help. The decor is incredible and very innovative. The bedrooms are wonderful…beds so comfy, spectacular views (we were floor 9) but all would be good! Luxurious toiletries in the bathrooms and plenty of hot water! The pool is massive with lovely sunbeds pool or beach side…all very calm and gorgeous. We would not hesitate to go back, it’s a fantastic oasis of luxury in sanur. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful stay…we even extended because it was so good!

The cost of extras like spa treatments and bike hire are very expensive compared to similar in the area.

The setting is beautiful, the food was delicious, the Entrance is awesome and staff very pleasant and attentive. Bed linen of good quality and the bath towels are excellent, fluffy and large! The feeling of luxury as car door opened on arrival.

Appreciate staff are in training, however, attention to detail will be paramount if going to achieve full 5* Chilling champagne glasses, ensuring stopper on bottle: bringing water to the table immediately: not serving main course whilst guest still eating first course:good quality loungers to make the most of the fabulous view:

The staff were exceptional sooo polite do anything for you …always there for you..probably because we stayed 11 days …there was fruit left for us…little cakes too…AYU a trainee in the breakfast restaurant was sooo helpful…the restaurant was excellent beautiful reasonably priced meals

The wind, but this was not the hotels fault ours for choosing June to visit …this made it a little uncomfortable at times …but the answer is just don’t worry about your hair…also there was a lack of nice restaurants outside the hotel…and as much as the food in Arunka was excellent …I would like to visit other places

Pools could have shade cover over them. I didn't like that we booked and paid for a beach view room and got a garden view room, which had no views of garden and views of a crane.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Our first impression of the lobby was incredible. We experienced fantastic hospitality from all the staff and we appreciated the waiting room with snacks and drinks on check in. Loved the location right on the beach with amazing volcano and beach views from our balcony, the pool area is great - plenty of sun and shade and huge beautiful pool. We had the buffet breakfast at the restaurant and it had a good variety and we appreciated the iced lattes! Bed was huge and comfortable and we had a good nights sleep.

Only small criticisms are that the bathroom could have been a little better maintained - the taps were a bit stuck and hard to move and we had a minor miscommunication about paying for drinks at the pool which we assumed were charged to our room but we had some text messages from staff later asking for payment which is a little odd at a hotel of this standard. It was probably our fault but the communication about payment could have been clearer.

We highly recommend this hotel. The standard and quality are exceptional, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The staff were not only helpful but also genuinely friendly, and the service was flawless from start to finish. Our room was unlike anything we’ve experienced before — we were upgraded to a spacious suite with a huge balcony and even a dedicated office area. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as complimentary glass water bottles instead of plastic. The laundry service was efficient and reliable. The fitness area was another highlight: well-equipped with high-quality machines, making workouts a real pleasure. A truly outstanding stay in every way.

Very clean, new furniture, no old or stale smell. Good breakfast. Very nice team, attentive, helpful. Very easy and fast check in. Very speedy reaction to any additional requests. Super helpful when something happens unexpectedly. Great location and territory immaculately clean

Limited menu in all three restaurants, would like to see more choices, and would be nice to have better choice of fruits for breakfast, that definitely something you would like to see when you come to Bali. Food in restaurants is overpriced, almost level with restaurant in Auckland , New Zealand

Stunning hotel with a stunning sea view. The water features and statues create a serene, magical entrance and lobby which is really unique. Absolutely lovely staff and everything you need nearby including the hotel bar, shop, restaurant, large pool and beach area. The restaurant staff were amazing in creating customised vegan meals for my inclusive breakfast (much appreciated and very tasty!). The beach has a long promenade where you can walk, run or cycle and there are lots of restaurants and shops in the local vicinity. A perfect stay and one of my favourite hotels I stayed at in Bali.
