I booked a twin share so it was nice to have an ensuite bathroom for each occupant (my mother and myself). It was also great to have a separate room for each of us because it gave us the privacy to watch TV or use our respective bathrooms without disturbing the other.

There's only one air con and one heater in the unit, each in different rooms. So in very hot or very cold weather, you would need to keep the connecting door between the two sleeping areas open, which then removes any privacy that it offers. Also, one bed is in the common room (kitchen / living) as is the ensuite for this bed. The ensuite has no basin or vanity, which means you need to use the kitchen sink to wash your hands after using the toilet if you don't want to go into the other room. It also means that because the kitchen / living area contains one of the beds, if the occupants of the other room need to use the kitchen, they can't do so without disturbing anyone sleeping in that kitchen / living area.

Rooms were pristine, location was perfect being in the main centre of Lakes Entrance meaning little or no driving required. Absolutely loved the customer service. Peter was so assisting with carrying my heavy baggage as I had an injury to my shoulder. I was very pleased with all aspects of this motel.

Having to leave today, loved the motel and everyone was so friendly. I really didn't want to leave. There were no negatives at all with the staff and the motel. Very impressed. We had stayed elsewhere last time we came through and only wished i knew of this motel. I won't stay anywhere else from now on.

We arrived late due to long drive down the coast road. We were greeted with a smile and lovely chat. Told how to get to room and had reserved parking space outside the door. All we wanted was a clean bed for the night. What was lovely on entering was pleasant room aroma and a lovely inviting pure white bed linen. Also presented beautifully were white towels and washing creams. Small kitchen area with more than enough equipment to self cater. Shower etc was very clean.

Nothing. It's an old place but the staff clearly take pride in presenting a welcoming clean place to stay.

Location was great. Easy walking to restaurants and boardwalk. The furniture and decor was very comfortable and the unit very clean. Nice hot shower and comfortable bed.

It isn't that we disliked anything. Unfortunately, the room wasn't what appeared in Booking.com I choose a Standard Twin, photo showed two single beds and a patio was mentioned inside the description. I like to be able to see out and have some air. The window was about a metre or more from the floor, I couldn't see out it. It felt a little claustrophobic for me but once the curtain was opened, it felt better.

Everything was fantastic never wanted to leave . Lovely welcoming lady at reception nothing was to much trouble . Room was spotlessly clean on arrival, fantastic towel s for drying in bathroom, comfortable beds, Lovely private little verandah with fence around and table and chairs, swimming pool , close to everything i walked more than I drove anywhere , spacious rooms and big shower with a lot of room to move. My favourite motel in Lake's Entrance I've stayed at a few over the years will always return to this one now.

I like the nice lady on reception and the ease of checkin and the location. I liked the homeliness of the layout and the feel of the room re. Paint colour and high ceilings and the cosy cabin warmness. The fridge, microwave and kettle were in good clean condition as was the overall kitchenette and bathrooms.

The bed wasn’t overly comfortable, I could feel the springs, the towels were aged and thin, the furniture was aged and stained, there was a kettle and milk and sugar but no tea or coffee (most likely an oversight).

Awesome location close to everything. The most heart touching moment was finding a Gideon Bible in the side drawer. They have disappeared from every establishment what a shame. So thank you for carrying on the this lost tradition. The pillows are luxurious & the room so clean. Wished I stayed longer instead of overnight. And the friendly lady proprietor is a blessing. A slice of heaven hope to visit Lake Entrance in the very near future.

Loved everything

The location cannot be beaten as it is located on The Lakes esplande. The room we had was very old but clean. As we paid a bargain price, I was not expecting some of the added value. The unit looked right onto the lake and received a beautiful breeze. The value is unbeatable for value.

The room is a little cozy. By removing the small round table and chairs and placing a collapsible luggage rack or single comfy chair would be more beneficial in my opinion. The table and chairs on the patio are sufficient.

My friend and i went in expecting to be sharing a bed, bit was pleasantly surprised to see that they added an extra single bed in order for us to be more comfortable. The location of room 34 was in a perfect spot away from the busy street, and the on-site kitchen was incredible to use.

We found that the room got a bit stuffy and wanted to open a window, but was unable to due to the windows being sealed shut. The shower head was incredibly low, forcing us to bend down to wash.

Well equipped with tea, coffee,tissues ,soap and bath products.bed very comfortable and pillows nice and soft. The motel very central to everything. Good parking for the car nice and large space and easy to get in and out of the parking. Very friendly staff.

If being picky the only thing the shower was a bit small and slippery , me being older and my balance not as good. Apart from that pressure was good and nice and hot.
