Really liked the location as it was near the friends we were visiting. The room was nice to have a separate space for my niece and me. The bathroom was nicely renovated and looked really good. It was nice to have a desk.

It would have been nice to have a minifridge. It would help to have some safety bars in the shower, as it is a bit of a high step to get up to. And my niece couldn't get the tub drain to stop. Maybe have some screens on the windows so they can be left open without worrying about bugs.

Motel has a colorful history connected with Hollywood North that is on display in the office. The location is centrally located and accessible to public transit. There's a laundromat down the road. I liked the self-sufficiency that comes with the kitchenette and private entrance. The staff were always very helpful. Parking close to the private entrance is nice. It's a little bit like a time capsule from the late sixties and early seventies.

Self serve Laundry machines on site would be great. Some issues arise from the age of the building such as single pane wood frame windows that sometimes won't close easily to be locked, and inadequate electrical in the kitchen.

Love the ground floor entry & no one in a unit above us. Grounds are clean with lots of room to go for a stroll. A completely separate second bedroom was a pleasant surprise. Obviously an older motel but equally obvious was the care taken to keep the units in good repair & clean.

No coffee pot or supplies, no fridge , no microwave. As with many motels, the toilet was ridiculously low & there were no grab bars. This is unsafe & uncomfortable for anyone with back, hip or knee problems.

The host was very helpful, and I liked the grassy area and picnic tables in front of the rooms. Very clean with old-fashioned charm.

I would have liked air conditioning. It did say on the web page that there was no air conditioning, and that seemed fine for me, but when I got to Vancouver it was warmer than usual. So I suggest 2400 install air conditioning sooner than later.

We liked all the friendly staff and we also got to stay by the room where some episodes of supernatural were filmed so that made the stay super fun!

No AC and the room gets really hot during the day, like stuffy old ambiance. The water in the evening for some reason gets only slightly warm mostly chilly quick shower.

Even though the units are grouped together there's minimal noise travel between them even when the TVs on and your standing outside the door

Was able to do a cash deposit with my visa debit a just have a on file with a small charge. This time they said I couldn't that and had to charge the full deposit on the credit card which I wad really

I like the convenience of parking mere steps from a private entrance, no matter which suite. The vintage theme of the dated property is cool. The acceptance of pets is helpful.

Honestly there's little to be critical of. Some of the vintage, single pane windows either don't lock or take some patience to open or close.

The location was good, and there was a fair balance between the fee and the service provided.

The mattresses were not flat; there was a dip in the middle, so the two people who slept there were forced to sleep closer together in the middle. It was not comfortable.

For the price in Vancouver it was great value.

No A/C and sweltering hot lol and the electrical outlets were in weird places and so worn my phone charger kept falling out, but you did mention it in the website so im not bitter.

I liked how friendly the staff were and the value for the money. The beds and chairs were comfortable. The lighting was ok. There were a few mirrors which made multiple people getting ready easy.

The area doesn't feel the safest (not the motels fault obviously). Some of the windows were hard to lock and it was quite hot in the room. I've stayed there before and they had a fan in the room but this most recent time didnt.
