Location is very good, not far from the canada line and handy to buses and restaurants. The breakfast was good basically eggs anyway you wanted plus cereals, toast, pastries etc. They accommodated our request for a kettle and tea rather than a coffee machine in the room.
Our bedroom was a little smaller than i expected. We weren't sure if we could get to hotel between 3 and 5 as our international flights could be delayed and sought a means of entry after hours and this was not forthcoming despite several emails from us. As it turned out the flight was on time. Check in is via ringing doorbell and waiting for staff to arrive from Guesthouse next door.

The home was beautiful and inviting. Arrival and self-check-in were seamless following the text instructions sent to us on the day. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. It had all the amenities we would have expected with a small fridge, tea and coffee and such.
The room layout was a bit odd with the sink outside the toilet/shower room; a bit inconvenient when using the facilities in the middle of the night. Being an older home, and lacking air conditioning, our second floor room had 2 windows which would have allowed more airflow had we been able to open both of them. The provided fan helped to keep us cool enough.

Cambie Lodge is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a place to stay that is away from the hustle & bustle of downtown Vancouver which is only a 10min Uber or 30min walk away. We were greeted upon our arrival warmly and provided with all the relevant info we needed for our stay. Our room was a bit small (Granville … our choice given price point), but very clean with a newly tiled walk-in shower. Morning breakfast provided both a self-service and a cook to order option (eggs, omelets, pancakes, French toast) with seating available both on the patio & sunroom. The staff was friendly and responsive without being intrusive. I would rate our overall B&B experience in the high 4’s out of 5. Touring both the Mt Pleasant neighborhood/Main St along with the quarry gardens of Queen Elizabeth Park were worthy side trips.

Communication with Cambie Lodge was excellent; we were arriving after 5:00 and not sure of procedure but it was simple! The staff are really lovely. I had a good omelette for breakfast in the pretty seating area just off the kitchen. Our room was perfect for what we needed (one night in Vancouver so we could get to early morning medical appointment) and was a 10 minute walk to VGH.
My only suggestion for the Cambie Lodge is to stop using scented products on laundry and carpets :).

The rooms and beds and bedding were so comfortable! Lovely heated flooring in the bathroom, and fans were available in the room for those who like white noise and/or moving air for sleep . Fantastic location, so easy to access restaurants and public transportation. The breakfast the next morning was such a lovely treat and had delicious food. I would 100% recommend and I hope to be back someday soon:-)
I honestly can't think of anything

Homely, comfortable, clean. Very friendly, cheerful and accommodating staff. Not huge but comfortable room with extremely comfortable bed. Easy to use and efficient shower. Provision of full size shampoo gel etc, no waste .Attractive breakfast room which encouraged conversation with other residents. Excellent breakfast choice. Very friendly and helpful member of staff in breakfast room . Small but comfortable communal sitting room. Provision of coffee maker or kettle in own room so able to make hot drinks. Fridge in own room. Very close to shops and cafés but in quiet residential street. Good transport links. Direct metro line from airport to nearby metro station . Bus and metro links to other areas in city. Lovely weather so did 40-45 mins walk from Cambie Lodge to Granville Island and Queen Elizabeth garden. Took bus to Van Dusen Gardens and walked back. All walks through pleasant residential areas. Can recommend Mighty Oak Café (15 min walk)
Only very very minor dislikes. Not enough hangers(bought extra in dollar store)Small fiddly switch on bedside lamp.Bedside tables with drawers would have given extra storage space. Use of microwave would have enabled us to make hot snacks.

We shared a basement apartment with separate bedrooms, which was very convenient and because we were out and about the whole day every day, it didn´t matter that not a lot of daylight came in. The location is excellent for exploring the city. You can walk downtown or take the metro, ideal. In the neighbourhood are very good restaurants, coffee places and supermarkets. Staff checks in with you on a regular basis.
It is nice that breakfast is cooked for you, but the other options were a bit underwhelming. No muesli, no plain yoghurt, no espresso or cappuccino. However with the great coffeeshops around we made it work.

Our stay at Cambie Lodge was perfect! We arrived around 2 p.m., and, although the check-in usually is open from 3 p.m., our room was already ready for us. The room had a private bathroom and all the spaces were perfectly clean. We have been provided with towels and different soaps. The breakfast is included in the price and it was delicious! The apartment is located in one of the nicest neighborhoods of Vancouver. It's just one minute's walk from the bus/tram stop and 5 minutes from the metro station. However, you can also walk to downtown, as it's just 20/25 minutes away. In front of the house, there is also a bike rental station, which is very useful if you need to move faster to a specific destination. Plenty of shops, markets and restaurants can be reached within a few minutes' walk. We can surely recommend Cambie Lodge!

What a super beautiful place to stay.My friend and I were greeted by Bernice, a very friendly lady, upon arrival.Bernice made us feel at home immediately. She gave us all the information we needed for a very happy and comfortable stay. She also greeted us at breakfast to see how we were doing. She most certainly is a credit to Cambie Lodge.Another lady(Maria)..I hope I got the name right, was our breakfast server. Her kitchen was so well organized making coffee and all breakfast trimmings so easily accessible. She took our breakfast order and provided a delicious breakfast..such a plus. The suite itself was immaculate with all the comforts of home.It is situated just steps off Cambie, but minus all the traffic noise. The beds were super comfy and we had a great night's rest.We really, really enjoyed our stay at Cambie Lodge and will return again sometime in the future.Great place..Cambie Lodge!

The place is so cozy and we felt to be home. The staff was kind and available to give all the information we needed. The breakfast contains food from a small buffet (fresh fruits, bread, cereals, etc.) and a hot plate prepared at the moment (you can choose among different types of eggs, pancakes and French toast). There is the Broadway-City Hall train station close to the B&B, which permits to reach both the airport and downtown within maximum 20 minutes.
We stayed in the room at the main floor, where the people footsteps from the upstairs room were clearly audible.
