We have a dog. The rooms for pets are on the ground floor with patios facing the water. It was nice to sit out there with our dog and to take him down to the water. Note that you have to call the inn after making a reservation in order to get a pet-friendly room. I would not have known -- and might have been unpleasantly surprised -- if I hadn't sent them a msg asking if there was an extra charge for a pet. That's when I learned that they had to change my reservation to a pet-friendly room.

Breakfast is not included. They have various items for sale such as breakfast sandwiches and cereal. It seemed a bit tacky. I asked why they didn't indicate the need to call in order to reserve a pet-friendly room under the House Rules tab. It only says "Pets are allowed. Charges may apply." They said that Booking.com will not allow them to warn people about that in the House Rules. I had a similar experience with a hotel that I booked for a previous trip.

Beautiful setting for this hotel. Rooms were spacious and quiet. I liked the way they filled the rooms as it seems they spaced them out, so rooms next to us were empty it seemed - so it was quiet. Brought my own food to a toast in the morning and they had coffee made. We spent most of our day away from the hotel as we had family close by, and came back in the evening. Never visited the pool. View of the bay was beautiful- took a walk to the beach, which is a good work out coming back up to the hotel.

We loved the view from our room and the pool and hot tub are so refreshing and also have such great views from the windows around the pool the water temperature was just right. And also the lobby staff giftshop and little socialization area with fireplace big screen tv. And continental style food options are a nice option since there are no restaurants in the hotel. We wish there was a restaurant and a shuttle service to downtown from the hotel.and back. So people could relax and not worry about driving while on vacation. Still the staff and guests were very joyful and kind. And our accusations were comfortable and relaxing with awesome views! I will recommend priceline and fireside inn and suites to all my family and friends!

A shuttle service to town and back to a nice restaurant.or having a restaurant on the property. But a shuttle service would make it perfect.so no one has to worry about driving and can just relax.

The room and the view were great. Later, around 10:00 PM, my son and I went back up to check for cough drops and a snack. The woman at the desk at that time was very helpful and had a kind and patient attitude. I would give her a 10/10.

When we arrived at 8:00 PM, the front desk lady with the straight blonde bangs was a little rude. She spoke way too fast, practically threw the pool info sheet at me and asked for a form of payment. I said, "Oh, I already paid." She replied in a negative tone, "I still get to check!" I would give her a 5/10.

View was amazing. Staff were all lovely. Grounds were very well kept. Room was very clean. Convenient location to town (a 4 minute drive). Free coffee and tea in the reception area was nice. The common deck with fire pit was very nice on the chilly nights.

My only recommendation is to upgrade the beds and pillows. Both beds in my room were lumpy and the pillows were smaller than standard bed pillows and weren’t very comfortable.

Convenient and beautiful view. Staff was friendly and address a couple issues very fast.

The refrigerator was tiny, and had no freezer. The brackets on the door were missing. Couldn’t store much at all in fridge. Not convenient for people staying for several days. Comforter on one of the beds was very very dirty and stained, but they replaced it.

I think the atmosphere is very homely, absolutely beautiful view off our room. Pool area is great.

We asked for a room closer to the main enterence and I was told we were moved. When we arrived we were given a room that was quite far from the door. I know there are other doors, but my husband is handicapped and he has a prosthesis so he has trouble walking.. I had to carry everything in by myself so that was a little challenging.

The location was excellent, We planned a Castine Kayak trip about 45 minutes away, and basically used the room just for sleeping. Wish we could have stayed longer!

There were a lot of little light sources in the room, facing the bed... microwave time, tv sensor, and then of course the clock radio at bedside and the smoke alarm light. just a bit too much.

Staff was nice and we had a beautiful view of the harbor and sat in Adirondack chairs and relaxed. We did not have time to use the pool, but it looked great.

Our safe in room did not work, it needed a battery. In the bathroom, after we put down the bath towel/mat it was really dirty from the dirty floor. The floors need to be washed after each visitor. i do not think that happens, maybe just after a dog stays there.

Room: Clean. Stunning views and a balcony. Rooms are a bit dated, as others have noted, but the bed was comfortable and you can request an additional cleaning service if needed. Property: Just gorgeous. There are plenty of chairs and games out on the lawn. A nice rocky beach can be accessed via a walking path, or you can sit out on the deck to watch the sunset. Very kind staff, as well. Parking and Wi-Fi: Easy and free. Location: Less than a 5-minute drive from the main Belfast waterfront area, with a ton of restaurants, markets, and local shopping. Lots of great little shops on their side of the river, too, including Perry's Nut House with must-try fudge. Very close in driving distance to local beaches and lakes. Quiet road as well, so you can peacefully enjoy the stars out on a clear night. Other: Free coffee and tea downstairs was very appreciated. There was a nice coffee machine with plenty of options (latte, hot chocolate, mocha, etc.). There was also a little area with gifts for purchase.

As other reviewers have noted, some breakfast food items included in the stay would be nice (on top of the coffee/tea bar). However, you can drive into the downtown area to get food.
