Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Staff was helpful and friendly. Perfect location for a late-night arrival by bus into town -- just steps away from the bus station. Very close to shops and the abbey. Side door available to make it easy to get in and out of the "bedrooms" part of the pub without having to go through the pub itself. The room was clean and comfortable.
We were in Room #1, which is small. All the doors in the room squeaked VERY loudly, so you could not use the bathroom or leave the room without waking anyone else who might be sleeping. (Note: We stayed another night in Room #3, which was much bigger and did not have squeaky doors.)

Me and my partner booked to stay here for two nights. We had the best time! The staff couldn’t have done more. They were polite, funny, friendly! The room was clean, tidy, and had an amazing view over the Tor. The breakfast was absolutely sensational, couldn’t fault it! The only issue we did have was with the shower - there was mould around the base which wasn’t appealing at all. Either it needs scrubbing off with some mould remover or it needs replacing. Also, the shower gel and hair wash was in the holder above the sink and the hand wash was in the shower, which really really made me laugh😂was obviously an accident, but did make me chuckle! We ate here both nights and the food was excellent quality, fast, piping hot and all for an amazing price! For the price, the laughs, the food and the best staff, We will definitely be back!

Great breakfast and very convenient location. Staff were kind and helpful. They stored luggage for us overnight so we could bring less during an overnight trip away from Glastonbury. We were in room 3, which was a big room overlooking Glastonbury Abbey and the Tor tower.
The live music on the weekend was indeed loud. Our room was directly over the band area and we could sing along and feel the vibrations of the drums. They warned us ahead of time and offered earplugs. We both has noise cancelling earphones, which helped tremendously. It started at 9 PM and ended by 11 PM. We had a 7 AM bus to catch across the street, so the location benefits cancelled out the inconvenience of the noise. Also, the floodlights outside the windows leaked into the room, despite thick curtains. If you have trouble sleeping with light, bring something to cover your eyes.

There were a choice of breakfasts on the menu from a full English to toast and jam and cereal. Hot drinks were made to order and there were self service juices etc. All fresh and nicely made. Our room was lovely and light but also had excellent blackout blinds and curtains. Tea and coffee making facilities were in the room. Lovely white fluffy towels too! We liked the pub downstairs too...clean and with a pretty beer garden. Also the staff were lovely...couldn't have been more helpful.
I have a bad back and found the bed to be slightly too firm for me but couldn't fault them apart from that.

Fantastic Location right in the Town Centre with easy walking distance to shops and restaurants etc. On site parking no hassle and easy to find if you just follow your nose and the road around behind the property. Lovely host really made us feel at home. Room was large and very comfortable. We were right over the kitchen I think so some noise from the extractor fan but the smells were lovely so we really didn't mind! Access to bedrooms is through the bar or there is an outside entrance also if you want to come and go in private. Had a great visit and a fab nights sleep.
Only sad that the price went down on Booking.com after we reserved it :(

The room was comfortable and clean, lovely view of the Tor from the window. being on a main street it was noisy at time (e.g. buses and people leaving pubs at night).
One member of staff was rude and uninviting myself and my daughter, plus other people who joined us for a meal and entertainment. She was rude when we first went to get a table and whilst cleaning was complaining about the children who had made a mess to start the evening. Later in the evening we asked for cocktails (which according to the menu were available 7 days a week, she said we don't do them on a Friday as we are busy, making a sweeping hand gesture across the room, however there were very few customer for the size of the establishment and 2 bar staff were standing chatting. We left and went elsewhere. Which was a shame as we were enjoying the entertainment.

Great location right in the heart of Glastonbury with good view of the Abbey and the Tor from our window. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was really comfortable with a tasty breakfast from a good choice.
Would have been helpful to have directions to where the parking was located in advance. We had been told that parking was limited and not guaranteed and couldn't easily find where this was located. We managed to find free street parking so didn't need to pay for the public car park opposite.

The staff were wonderful. The food was good too. The bed was so comfortable. Lovely atmosphere and managed free parking.
My son's room wasn't ensuite and I don't think that was specified so he had to walk down the corridor to use the bathroom which woke me twice! Couldn't be helped but a shame we couldn't have had another room and paid that bit more? My son's room had a huge water leak! The shower in my room needed the drainer cleaned. I reported these and the staff were apologetic

Location is great. Entertainment in house. Entertainment wasn’t every night but when it’s on u can hear it upstairs but we enjoyed it so it didn’t bother us. Staff all very lovely and helpful. Room very spacious, did not feel cramped. Enjoyed having a drink at the pub/hotel with some of the locals, a friendly bunch. Breakfast was good and plentiful too.
Bedroom doors could have been a bit more secure. Think they should have double locks. Cant say for other rooms but we could have done with a couple of towel hooks in ours.

I’ve stayed in quite a few hotels over the years and this one was a pleasant surprise. Well located, very friendly staff and apart from a couple of glitches this was an excellent night away. I was warned that if my room (no 5) was at the front it would be noisy with traffic - it was. If I stay there again, I’ll ask for one towards the back of the hotel. I decided to eat in the bar, had a nice curry and a pint. Next day, the buffet breakfast was spot on, croissants were particularly nice. Sadly, there was a problem in the kitchen which meant my full English wasn’t possible. I take it as a positive when It comes to my waistline. Towels were very fluffy and big enough for me, room was spotless. Definitely a little gem in a quirky town …..
Full Breakfast wasn’t possible and the noise.
