Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Staff was helpful and friendly. Perfect location for a late-night arrival by bus into town -- just steps away from the bus station. Very close to shops and the abbey. Side door available to make it easy to get in and out of the "bedrooms" part of the pub without having to go through the pub itself. The room was clean and comfortable.

We were in Room #1, which is small. All the doors in the room squeaked VERY loudly, so you could not use the bathroom or leave the room without waking anyone else who might be sleeping. (Note: We stayed another night in Room #3, which was much bigger and did not have squeaky doors.)

I came by bus so super easy to find. Totally loved my allocated room as it looked out at the Abbey....really special for me. Loved the decor of the room .really classy colours and decor. Staff were very busy, but polite and helpful. Chose to have breakfast here too, veggie option which set me up for the day.. Super Garden planters and beautiful mural to eat outside. All round a good atmosphere. Really recommend this place to stay...especially for activities near town centre. Will stay here again.

Shower perhaps could be a little easier to use. . Maybe I didn't turn it on correctly?. On the cool.side. But gosh it was a super hot day....However... They are so ON top of stuff here ..really attentive to customers suggestions.

What an absolutely incredible place for our first stay in Glastonbury. We chose this hotel for its location, parking and our room was special as it had views of Glastonbury Tor! Our room had everything we needed for 1 night, the size was fantastic, very clean, hot water, hairdryer, fresh smelling and clean towels, coffee making facilities and a ridiculously comfy bed. We were able to meet the most wonderful owner Roger, who along with his staff made our stay the best it could have been by being super accommodating and just generally kind and welcoming. Our stay included breakfast (vegetarian options were available) and we’re so glad we picked this option as the coffee & tea were good quality and made to order with dairy alternative options on offer, the hot food cooked by chef Kelly tasted incredible the quality of the ingredients was amazing and the continental options were an added bonus. We enjoyed it so much we’ve already recommended to our family and friends and we can’t wait to come back here again next year! Thank you Roger and team for a fantastic experience 😁

N/a - everything was perfect.

Me and my partner booked to stay here for two nights. We had the best time! The staff couldn’t have done more. They were polite, funny, friendly! The room was clean, tidy, and had an amazing view over the Tor. The breakfast was absolutely sensational, couldn’t fault it! The only issue we did have was with the shower - there was mould around the base which wasn’t appealing at all. Either it needs scrubbing off with some mould remover or it needs replacing. Also, the shower gel and hair wash was in the holder above the sink and the hand wash was in the shower, which really really made me laugh😂was obviously an accident, but did make me chuckle! We ate here both nights and the food was excellent quality, fast, piping hot and all for an amazing price! For the price, the laughs, the food and the best staff, We will definitely be back!

Location is perfect, staff really attentive and friendly whilst still running the bar. Breakfast was excellent and very good value. Felt safe, clean and happy here

There is free parking, but you need to know where to go for it and as a result you end up payinging to use the public car park directly opposite only to then Find out where the free parking is and you can't refund what you just paid for - phone ahead for parking instructions. Last orders at the bar were called early (10.40) on the Friday night we stayed so had to go elsewhere before retiring to bed.

Great breakfast and very convenient location. Staff were kind and helpful. They stored luggage for us overnight so we could bring less during an overnight trip away from Glastonbury. We were in room 3, which was a big room overlooking Glastonbury Abbey and the Tor tower.

The live music on the weekend was indeed loud. Our room was directly over the band area and we could sing along and feel the vibrations of the drums. They warned us ahead of time and offered earplugs. We both has noise cancelling earphones, which helped tremendously. It started at 9 PM and ended by 11 PM. We had a 7 AM bus to catch across the street, so the location benefits cancelled out the inconvenience of the noise. Also, the floodlights outside the windows leaked into the room, despite thick curtains. If you have trouble sleeping with light, bring something to cover your eyes.

There were a choice of breakfasts on the menu from a full English to toast and jam and cereal. Hot drinks were made to order and there were self service juices etc. All fresh and nicely made. Our room was lovely and light but also had excellent blackout blinds and curtains. Tea and coffee making facilities were in the room. Lovely white fluffy towels too! We liked the pub downstairs too...clean and with a pretty beer garden. Also the staff were lovely...couldn't have been more helpful.

I have a bad back and found the bed to be slightly too firm for me but couldn't fault them apart from that.

Fantastic Location right in the Town Centre with easy walking distance to shops and restaurants etc. On site parking no hassle and easy to find if you just follow your nose and the road around behind the property. Lovely host really made us feel at home. Room was large and very comfortable. We were right over the kitchen I think so some noise from the extractor fan but the smells were lovely so we really didn't mind! Access to bedrooms is through the bar or there is an outside entrance also if you want to come and go in private. Had a great visit and a fab nights sleep.

Only sad that the price went down on Booking.com after we reserved it :(

Great location right in the heart of Glastonbury with good view of the Abbey and the Tor from our window. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was really comfortable with a tasty breakfast from a good choice.

Would have been helpful to have directions to where the parking was located in advance. We had been told that parking was limited and not guaranteed and couldn't easily find where this was located. We managed to find free street parking so didn't need to pay for the public car park opposite.

The room was comfortable and clean, lovely view of the Tor from the window. being on a main street it was noisy at time (e.g. buses and people leaving pubs at night).

One member of staff was rude and uninviting myself and my daughter, plus other people who joined us for a meal and entertainment. She was rude when we first went to get a table and whilst cleaning was complaining about the children who had made a mess to start the evening. Later in the evening we asked for cocktails (which according to the menu were available 7 days a week, she said we don't do them on a Friday as we are busy, making a sweeping hand gesture across the room, however there were very few customer for the size of the establishment and 2 bar staff were standing chatting. We left and went elsewhere. Which was a shame as we were enjoying the entertainment.
