A really high quality hotel with an excellent restaurant. We were a multigenerational family of 10 occupying 5 rooms. The staff were extremely helpful The breakfast was exceptional.

2 minor points. One member of our group mislaid their key. Without a 24 hour desk and a call number which did not work , they had to sleep on the floor of another family member’sroom. No elevator and a quite narrow staircase. The hotel is in a rural area ..so access to a vehicle is essential. We were attending a family wedding near Glastonbury and some of our taxi bookings were cancelled by the taxi firm.

Breakfasts and dinners were delicious (especially the steaks at dinner!) The rooms were spacious and comfortable and all the staff members were extremely kind, friendly and helpful. At one point I tripped on a step and fell - immediately one of the staff members was there to help me. Many of my fellow guests also rushed to my aid, which made me feel very well looked after. The hotel's location was good for making trips to Well, Bath and Stone Henge.

The car-parking spaces were poorly marked. It wasn't always comfortable sitting outside because there were quite a few wasps about. Perhaps a few more wasp traps around the outside seating area would help?

The bedroom was a great size, very comfortable bed, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The cooked breakfast options were good although the continental breakfast options were somewhat limited. The evening meals were excellent and beautifully cooked. Would definitely go back to stay and would highly recommend.

Some of the younger staff needed to learn about being in the hospitality business as although they did all that was asked there was no smile. They needed to learn from the manager who was fantastic.

This is a really lovely hotel. It's out in the stakes so it's really peaceful and quiet. The balcony outside has fantastic views over Somerset to Glastonbury tor and beyond. All of the stuff were absolutely wonderful and helped us out of a real sticky spot when a taxi let us down. They're really friendly, really quick to help and couldn't do enough to make their guests' stay and experience to remember. The rooms are spacious, well equipped, clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable. Parking is free and plentiful and there are some charging points for electric cars. The food was very good indeed. Simply a lovely experience. Really enjoyed ourselves, and I love your sense of humour! Thank you, Crossways!

We wanted a property near to many attractions and with a little bonus of a four poster bed and jacuzzi bath.

The room we had was as advertised so no complaints, but and this is a personal but as I never pull my curtains/blinds in the bedroom. The room has 2 windows overlooking the car park, with only a pair of heavy curtains. So to make sure we couldn’t be seen you needed these curtains pulled all the time, which I didn’t like at all. Also the electric car charging stations were outside the windows, each of which have bright lights on top which again led to having the curtains pulled through the night.

The property is nestled in a peaceful village, away from the hustle and bustle—perfect for a relaxing holiday. The tranquil surroundings and lack of crowds made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was exceptional—fresh, delicious, and a great way to start the day. I would highly recommend booking a package that includes breakfast, as it’s definitely worth it. The staff deserve special recognition for their outstanding service. They were respectful, polite, and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. There was ample parking available, which was another great plus. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return for another peaceful getaway.

Showers could be modified and didn't find phone to call the reception.

The room was beautiful 4 poster very comfortable and the bathroom with jacuzzi bath and rainfall shower was very luxurious . Our meal in the restaurant the first evening was delicious and well presented . The lady on reception was lovely and very helpful and friendly and the housekeeping staff were great room was very clean .

There was work going on to improve the property which made sitting outside a little difficult but it was fine and the workmen were very friendly and these things need doing so I suppose mid week is easier for the hotel . Breakfast was ok . Coffee machine was faulty on the second morning but was fixed quickly . The full English was a little on the small side with only one rasher of bacon and tinned mushrooms and the smoked salmon and scrambled egg with toast wasn’t the best as toast wasn’t toasted

Super quiet location, lovely hideaway from it all with amazing views; our room was very plush with lots of space for us 3 and the dog, with a fan going to cool the room when we arrived, oir room had lovely countryside views and was above the bar terrace but we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet the hotel was; the whole hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff were super friendly, the evening meal was very good, portions were huge even the kids meals, breakfast was excellent, we will definitely be back 😊

We arrived on Friday evening and quite late already to find a restaurant open. Can't thank enough Prashant and the chef for preparing something for us to eat. We we took the choice to stay at Crossways to celebrate my wife's 40th Birthday and enjoy a weekend around Glastonbury and Wells and we are so happy with all we got. On Saturday after a long day off we made the call to stay to have dinner and cocktails and so glad we did. absolutely brilliant PS: across all our stay Prashant have been brilliant looking after us and all the guests as well. He is a genuine individual and his costumer service is absolutely amazing. See you soon! Nelson and Lucilia

The staff are amazing, the rooms spotless, the fit out new and very classy. The beds are comfy, and everything you need is in the room. There is bottled water, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and biscuits on the hospitality tray and an iron, board, and fan if needed. The bathroom has soap, and shampoo and hairdryers are provided. There are sockets with USB's beside the bed as well as light switches. The TV allows you to connect to a mobile device so you can watch what you want on a big screen. The food is superb and I always have my dinner here. It's the best place to eat within a 25-mile radius. They do specially themed food evenings and even have a Nepalese special menu. They cater for meetings, events, and weddings and have a bridal suite with a hot tub and terrace! Lots of free parking with EV chargers and views across open country to Glastonbury Tor.
