This hotel went through a recent remodel because our room was like brand new. The room we stayed in was very spacious for our family of five. The location of the hotel was super convenient to the ski resort. We loved everything about this place! The ladies at the front desk were super helpful as well. They even had dog treats for our fur baby! We will definitely be back!

Our room was right across the hall from the laundry room so sometimes we would hear washer and dryer in use. But that's not the problem. The very last night of our stay, there was a family using the laundry facility and I guess they decided to wait around and they were talking so loudly outside of our room from 10pm til about 11:30pm while we were trying to sleep. I had to step outside and put "do not disturb" sign on our door and let them know it's bedtime... Maybe hotel management should put a door to close off the laundry area?

I was surprised by the continental breakfast that was included. My son and I were going to grab coffee there and then go get breakfast somewhere else. But when I saw the scrambled eggs I decided to try them and we wound up having a decent breakfast there with eggs, waffles, yogurt, some fresh fruit and coffee. It was very satisfying and saved us from having to buy breakfast elsewhere. Plus saved us some time too since everything was ready to eat when we got there. I consider the included breakfast to make this hotel a great deal !

They were doing some work on the building along with painting the exterior. Our room window was masked off so we did not have any view except the plastic that was covering the outside of the window. The lack of view did not lessen the stay.

Room had recently been remodeled, room and furniture were clean and in good shape. The bed and sofa were very comfortable. The bathroom had nice fittings but was small. Parking was easy and getting around was excellent, city buses serving both the ski resort and the downtown area stopped right outside the hotel frequently. The ongoing construction was obvious but didn't create any noise during sleeping hours.

Due to construction, the main entry door was out of service and you had to use a side door. Snow/ice had not been removed from the area you had to walk across and this caused me to nearly slip and fall a couple of times. As stated in the hotel description, the breakfast offerings were minimal.

The room was clean and cozy and easily accommodated 7-8 people, which was perfect for my group. The breakfast served at the hotel was okay, but nothing too exceptional. What really made this hotel great for skiers and snowboarders is that the bus to the ski resort is right outside the hotel! This was incredibly convenient and saved us a lot of time and hassle. Since we came primarily for skiing, this made the hotel all the more appealing.

Fire alarm went off at 5:40 AM (nothing to do with La Quinta or the staff) And we couldn't get a first floor. Which is understandable if they were booked. But we did get to see a bear up close and personal.

It was the only option left in town so we took it. It was the holiday season so the price was way over what the value was, but it was comparable to how other like options were priced this time of year in a mountain town. Description talked about "under construction" which made us nervous, but it was quiet and the freshly renovated rooms were immaculate. The 3 queen beds + queen pullout couch was a unique room option which we needed for our extended family. It was perfect!!! The breakfast was more than sufficient.

Breakfast was just okay, slow check in and check out, a lot of construction workers (not a huge deal, just a different vibe than your normal hotel experience)

The receptionist was genuinely kind and very helpful. There was a mishap with my room upon arrival, but she handled it beautifully. All the staff I encountered was lovely. The lobby is aesthetically appealing. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. Our room was spaciously comfortable.

The beds are uncomfortable because of the mattress cover. It felt like there was a shower curtain between me and the mattress. It made me sweaty to be sleeping on plastic and it kept slipping around under me. There are more comfortable mattress protectors out there. With an upgrade, this hotel would be top notch!

The breakfast was decent. thank you.

Bacon could have been more done. Two empty coffee pots the first morning, other times was fine.
