Lovely studio apartment with great views. Staff were so helpful and friendly and the location is excellent for walking to restaurants and the beach. Breakfast is cook your own with the fresh ingredients in the rooms fridge. Fresh bread and pastries delivered daily. The front desk staff always ask if anything needs replenishing. Gluten free bread, fresh avocado and smoked salmon were provided to accommodate my allergies and were very much appreciated! Fruit basket and unlimited bottled water is a nice touch, though larger bottles would reduce the amount plastic waste. Air-conditioner kept the room warm and cosy. Laundry is downstairs near reception and is free to use for guests. Free secure guest parking.

Bed was firm (too firm for us - we like a soft, supportive mattress) and the quilt was way too heavy and hot. However, staff were very helpful in trying to make our sleep more comfortable. Glass walled bathroom lacked privacy and sound proofing from the rest of the room.

Everything was beautiful and pleasant. The place was close to all services, very safe, and the staff was extremely friendly—especially Lifa, Sinza, and Yaerika. They were incredibly kind, professional, and respectful. I will definitely choose them again for my next visit. The hotel offers a self-service laundry, which I really appreciated as it allows for privacy and helps save money. There were also other free services like access to the gym and on-site parking. Everything was perfect, and I sincerely thank the staff—they truly made my trip special.

The only thing I wish was available is a bidet, it would have made the stay even more comfortable.

We loved everything from location and the top notch hospitality by all the staff, the facility is great, beautiful, the treat on my birthday was excellent as i never expected it, otherwise we wpild love to visit again for even more days than 3 nights, keep up the good work

We got confused to learn that our booking didn't include breakfast though as we were booking it seemed like it was included... But we loved the fact that we were near Woolworths and Pick n Pay to buy exactly what we wanted... So at the end we liked cooking for ourselves as it is also economical 🤭😅 Thank you for everything

I have stayed only 3 nights in the hotel (#21) and deeply regret that my stay was too short. The apartment is well maintained and equipped until the small details, such as yoga mat, for the morning asanas! The breakfast provided with good quality and variety of products. It gets delivered to your door. Staff is very kind and helpful. The water in the swimming pool is heated. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

It's not that I didn't like it, but I got confused: in the fridge, it is a note where mentioned that "food is complimentary," and it appears that for the breakfast items, you have to pay separately. Which is totally fine! It would be better if the message would have more clarity and/or specifics about the complimentary items.

Fantastic location. Suites are spacious, clean and well designed. They have thoughtfully laid out and equipped the kitchen. The only down side from my perspective is the self preparation of breakfast. If I am on holiday, I would not like to prepare the breakfast. The staff was very accommodating and provided all ingredients so that you can prepare your own breakfast your way. Location is beautiful. Every Suite faces the beach. Love the views.

Beautiful hotel along the bay beach, awesome and friendly staff and personnel, and a unique touch for breakfast. We absolutely loved the fact that we were given, on daily basis, all ingredients to make a personalized breakfast, including croissants, breads, eggs, bacon, juices, water etc... I mean, it was up to us when and how we wanted to have that, and we truly loved it. The fridge was refilled and resupplied on daily basis, depending on what you have consumed. There is a list of what is complimentary and what is charged. So make sure you take a good look of that list to ensure that you don't consume what is chargeable. The hotel is located in a very quiet area, yet, giving access to the public beach and all shops, restaurants and bars along the bay. We rented a car, so we very much loved the idea that a covered and very well guarded parking was including in the price, giving us a peace of mind whenever we are parking the vehicle. The room was huge, beautifully decorated and filled with amenities and basic stuff that you may need. Our bathroom was fancy, with a shower and bath tub, we had a lot of fun. I mean, everything about the hotel was quite WOW. Our balcony was facing the sea, so we would wake up with an amazing breeze... absolutely wonderful. The staff was so friendly and always ready to assist. If we were to go back in the same area, South Beach camps Bay Boutique Hotel would be on top of our list for accommodation.

The only thing that didn't work was the tv channels. There was a decoder and instructions on how to use it, but nothing worked. We even called the staff for assistance and the technician indicated that they were in some kind of transition, all the decoders and cables were being replaced, and that's probably one of the reasons why it wasn't worked. So when in-room. we watch our Netflix account and online social media stuff. Not a big deal, but It had to be mentioned.

We had a wonderful stay at South Beach Camps Bay Hotel and couldn't have asked for more. The room was spotless and exceptionally well-maintained, making us feel comfortable and right at home from the moment we walked in. The amenities were truly impressive—the room featured a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a mini bar and complementary breakfast items, including a delightful surprise each morning: freshly delivered bread that was absolutely delicious. The kitchen included everything from a microwave oven to a proper induction stove, and outside, there was even a gas braai for a relaxed barbecue experience. The room itself was spacious, with a beautiful bathroom featuring a large bath—perfect for a relaxing soak. One of the absolute highlights was the private heated pool right on our patio, allowing us to enjoy a swim with an incredible sense of privacy and luxury. Paired with a stunning view of the ocean, it made for an unforgettable setting. The entire hotel is also filled with beautiful and thoughtfully curated art pieces, which added a stylish and inspiring atmosphere throughout the property—it felt more like staying in a gallery than a hotel! What really stood out was the attention to detail. The room came with every amenity imaginable—a Nespresso machine, lint roller, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, garment steamer, and more—items you’d rarely find even in top-tier hotels. When it came to dining, we were spoiled for choice. There are many great restaurants nearby for a lovely dinner out, and for cozy nights in, the in-room menu offered convenient and tasty options you could order straight to your room. All in all, it was a truly memorable experience—we felt pampered, relaxed, and thoroughly impressed. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay in South Beach. When we arrived their staff immediately showed us where to park in their covered/sheltered car park. The check in process was seamless. Mickey at the front desk was super helpful in everything we asked about. They set up the room nicely as it was our honeymoon. The service overall was amazing. The location of the hotel is perfectly next to the beaches and the promenade with all the restaurants and cafes. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place in Camps Bay.

Great location. Rooms are a good size and clean. Well stocked fridge each day for breakfast.

The property is described as 5 *, but it did not live up to 5* expectations. Turning the shower on full flooded the bathroom, and there was no notices to warn of this. When turned down it was fine. One night Our air-con leaked over the bed. The swimming pools are less than 3 foot deep, and it’s fair to say it’s style over substance.

We stayed here at the end of our two-week honeymoon. The room was huge, with a nice balcony overlooking the beach and it was super clean. We appreciated having our own kitchenette, and used it to make food in the evenings when we got tired of eating out. It was very well equipped and our fridge was restocked daily, so there was always plenty to eat! :) The hotel is in a great location, the restaurants of Camps Bay are within a ten-minute walk, the citysightseeing bus stops 5 minutes away, and it also didn't take long to get in to the city centre by Uber. Staff were friendly and let us check-in slightly early upon arrival.

It wasn't cheap! Delivery of the bakery items in the morning wasn't consistent each day, which was slightly annoying, as we were sometimes waiting for it to be delivered before we could start our sightseeing for the day.
