Attractive hotel with very spacious room and bathroom. All erected in wood and glass, elegantly furnished; bathroom all marble. Our room with a huge private terrace. Breakfast very fine and outdoor terrace in the morning sun!

Despite the warnings of other reviewers we decided to have dinner in the hotel, which was a great mistake. Never before I got something to eat that made me want to vomit. As if an entire salt shaker had been overturned. And the grumpy waiter didn't seem to bother at all. The hotel should take more responsibility for this facility.

The room is spacious and clean, with air conditioning. The late check-in is convenient. Free parking is provided, so there is no need to worry about space. The breakfast is excellent!

The beds are separate and cannot be arranged together. The entrance from the road is a bit small, making it somewhat difficult to recognise when driving at night.

The location was very good. The room was comfortable. The grounds were good and we were close to trailheads and the bus. The coffee from the coffee machine was very good. Staff were friendly.

The breakfast could have been improved. I would have liked some healthy cereals; granola or homemade oats, and cheese that was not cold and fruit that was not canned - like peaches and pears. I think tomatoes should be at room temp and not cold. Dinners were ok. Desserts were good. I would appreciate if staff knew more about hikes. The tea from 5-6pm was a nice idea but the tea cups were so small you couldn't really have a good cup of tea.

Very helpful and knowledgeable reception team. We had an Executive Room that was well-equipped and spacious. with a very comfortable king size bed. Excellent breakfast with a good range of fresh breads, pastries, cereals, fruit and yoghurt. A warm buffet breakfast was also available, though not individually cooked. Good quality coffee from a branded machine and a wide range of black and fruit/herbal teas also available. We stayed for 4 nights in February and the hotel was relatively quiet, and only a couple of minutes walk into the small town of Santiago del Tiede. The hotel caters for walking and cycling groups of varying sizes, and I can imagine that the buffet breakfast experience could be very different when busy.

Nothing to dislike but we were lucky to stay here in a quiet period for the hotel.

The location of the hotel was perfect for visiting both the northern cost of Tenerife, including Masca and for easy access onto the main southern road (TF-1). The hotel is situated in extensive grounds with plenty of free parking. The room was large and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good with a variety of fresh meat, fruit and bread. There is limited hot options, but still plenty of choice. Nice patio available for eating breakfast. Hotel is in a small town with a variety of local places to eat if you fancy a change from the hotel restaurant.

A very comfortable hotel in the middle of an excellent area for hiking. Great to return to for relaxation. The room was large and very comfortable. The place was quiet and the breakfast set us up for a day's hike.

The menu was not very extensive for vegetarians and the meal we had was OK but we'd exhausted the veggie options after one meal - and both courses were tasty but a bit salty.

Lovely hotels with details. Tasty breakfast. Terrasse. Lounge. Peacefulness. The energy of hotel is very relaxing. Nice room. Very good location for hiking, taking bus to Los Gigantos, Puerto Santiago, Masca, Teno. We stay only 2 night's, but wish stay longer.

Large breakfast buffet with fruit, meats and cheeses plus the option of scrambled eggs. Room was very spacious and we had both a shower and a bath in the bathroom. In January options for places to eat in Santiago del Teide are limited, so we ate in the restaurant for a couple of nights from a set menu. Reasonable choice and food was excellent. I imagine in hot weather this hotel is very cool and the central courtyard a welcome place to sit. Location is a short walk from the centre of Santiago del Teide and there are several excellent walks which start nearby. Hotel has a spacious car park and is close to a bus stop.

The choice of wine was excellent with good local wines available but they come at a price. It meant that the set menu which was pretty good value for money then became quite pricey if (like us) you had a bottle of wine. Our room was spacious but it took a while to find the kettle which was in the wardrobe, and the only place we could find to plug it in was in the bathroom. The surface was large so it wasn't a great inconvenience just felt odd making a brew in the morning in the bathroom.

We only stayed one night, after a massive delay at the airport picking up our hire car, we arrived at 21.10, sadly the kitchen had closed and there were no other places in town open for food. The lady in reception found us a bowl of nuts and sold us some beer. Wasn’t the best start to our trip, the lateness of our arrival wasn’t the fault of the hotel, but perhaps they could have found us some bread and cheese? However it is a lovely place, very clean and comfortable.

Nice and quiet hotel with a great breakfast, not that many choices but all basics are there and it's good quality. When the sun is up it's nice to sit outside for the breakfast, it was end February. For me a great place as a basis to explore the area, for example to go hiking. Quite a big room and bathroom.
