We recently spent four nights at the Parthenis Beach Hotel in Crete, and it was a fantastic experience overall. This family-owned hotel made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we checked in. The rooms were spotless, with daily cleaning ensuring everything was always in perfect condition. Location: The hotel's location is superb, offering easy access to the beach and being just a 10-15 minute walk from the center of Malia. This made exploring the area convenient and enjoyable. Staff: The staff were exceptionally friendly and made us feel right at home. They were always willing to assist us or engage in pleasant conversation, adding to the overall warmth of our stay. Dining: The fresh juices at the hotel were delicious, and the lunch menu at the beachside restaurant was excellent. We tried almost everything on the menu during our stay and were particularly impressed with the fresh fish catch of the day – it was absolutely delicious. Amenities: The pool area is a significant highlight, offering a great alternative to the sea. The sunbeds were thick, comfortable, and clean. We appreciated being able to enjoy the beach and pool on our last day even after checking out, and the hotel kindly provided towels for us to shower before our evening flight. Sunsets: One of the most memorable aspects of our stay was the gorgeous sunsets. Whether you're dining at the restaurant or lounging on a sunbed as a late tanner, watching the sun set is an experience not to be missed. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. The combination of great location, exceptional staff, delicious food, excellent amenities, and stunning sunsets made our stay truly memorable.

This hotel is excellent. In reality it looks better than in the pictures. We got a welcome drink at the beach bar. The view is stunning! The strongest point of this place is The Team. More than polite. The hotel is located on a sandy beach, has a swimming pool with many sunbeds and a restaurant directly on the beach. The hotel is located about 4 minutes from the street with many good restaurants and bars. It is located in a quiet place, we had a room with a side view and we could hear the sound of the sea. A wonderful experience and relaxation. The hotel is nicely decorated with attention to detail in the interior and the area around is very well-kept. We thank the Team for the atmosphere and service of our large group. Greetings and we will gladly come back!

everything was wonderful

From the moment we arrived at this property we felt so welcome, Sophia took us straight to the beach for a welcome drink and we instantly fell in love with the place. The rooms are so comfortable and ours had a gorgeous side view of pool and beach. We loved the beach area where you can lie on the very comfortable beds at no cost or there are plenty beds around the pool area including Bali beds. The Bar and restaurant were open all day into the evening and believe me this is not your typical beach restaurant, from healthy energy bowl breakfasts to the best Prawn Saganaki I have tasted, the food was amazing. Very reasonably priced in our opinion. Special mention to the staff around the pool and restaurant, Martha and Stefania were particularly helpful and always had a smile on their face , but they were all great. Location was perfect with bars and restaurants within a 5minute walk from the hotel.

If there was anything we could suggest it would be to have some drawers in the bedrooms for storage as we found it difficult to keep our clothes organized. Possibly a couple more toilets around the pool. But these are small things that didn’t take away from the holiday.

Nice rooms. Swimming pool very clean & sunbeds that were enough four the guests. Sea beach in front of the hotel. Excellent food including local specialities Parking was easy . Malia offer many choices for nightlife. Very friendly and helpful personnel. A place I would definitely visit again place

The road to get there is narrow and hard to find. The municipal personnel usually block the street. Really Not a hotel issue but a general area problem.

Where do I even start, this place is incredible, 5* star all round and right on the beach! 5* room - We were lucky enough to be the first to stay in the newly renovated private pool rooms and what a gorgeous room it was. The most comfortable huge bed, gorgeous waterfall shower, modern and clean and then not one but 2 x terraces, one with this idyllic pool. There’s a fridge in the room and a shop and bakery at the top of the road (2 minute walk). 5* service - Sophia welcomed us and checked us in and couldn’t do enough for us. Really responsive on booking.com too. Yannis and others behind the bar looked after us throughout. Bespoke cocktails on the beach sunbeds, he even came round to our private pool and bought us beers. 5* food - Affordable and beautiful food. My favourite was the prawn Saganaki, one of the best I’ve ever had which was made into a bigger portion so that we could share it. The restaurant area is really comfortable and right on the beach so you can eat whilst enjoying a sea view. All round, this lovely family could not do enough for us and we were so pleased we decided to stay here. We will 100% be back to see you all soon! Thank you ❤️

Having to leave

Parthenis Beach is a stunning boutique hotel located right on the beach. The staff are warm, welcoming, and deeply knowledgeable about the local area and Greek culture. We initially booked for three days but extended our stay due to the homely atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, with patios overlooking the sea, and the hotel features a beautiful pool with recliners. The outdoor restaurant is a highlight, with a chef who puts real passion into his food, making every meal a delight. We absolutely loved our time here.

The beach was very clean and well arranged. The pool very clean as well, with many sunbeds. The food was very good, we had breakfast there every day and it was great! The people were also very nice and supportive!

Regarding the cleanness - the bed sheets in the room were not changed throughout our stay (one week). One of them had some small stains on one side, jothing major, but still… The room was cleaned every day, but mostly rearranging the things, not actually changing anything.

Beach was close to hotel .Sandy beach. Perfect for families .Sun beds free for Hotel people and the best in area. Staff very nice polite and friendly. Room was clean every day with fresh towels and toiletries. I'm not fan of swimming pool. But there is a beautiful swimming with plenty of sun beds and cabana style sun beds. If you want more privacy there are private Suites with private swimming pools. Who drives there is hotel parking.

Spacious room and a nice atmosphere. Hotel was very cute and rooms were comfortable. In front of the beach and a nice restaurant. Free parking lot. Close to the main streets of Malia. Quite place if you want to enjoy your time with your partner.

The bar selection was a bit limited. We requested couple of things from the bar that were all missing. They said they were going to replace it. Anyway, staff was very nice and we had a great time.
