very close to our friends we were having dinner with and catching up. on checking out, i was asked if i would like a coffee to go, to which i replied yes please and a white tea for my wife! we also had two chocolate Santas outside the door! A very nice touch indeed! excellent stay, in a former BAOR Teachers Officers Mess.

Excellent staff, spacious room with quality fixtures and fittings. The building has real history too being previously used as service family’s accommodation by the British Army of the Rhein (BAOR). It is just sad that the Stadt seems to be happy to wipe from history any evidence that the British were once here in Dortmund.

Nothing I disliked about the hotel. Location was not great for me but likely not too bad for others. I was travelling with public transport out of town. It is not too far from 1 u-bahn line but quite far from the u-bahn I needed to get to where I was going. Not really anything that was an issue with the hotel to be honest.

6 of us stayed in Dortmund for the Newcastle match. The hotel staff were great and accommodated us arriving late due to train cancellations. They were very helpful, and the hotel was really comfortable and in pleasant surroundings, close to a great bakery and the tram into the city centre. Christian and his colleague were superb hosts and made our stay very enjoyable, despite losing the football match. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

It was very cosy, and nice. It really has some ambiente. The room was spacious, comfy, we felt very well there, loads of wood, it had a nice smell somehow. Great. It was also very clean there. To quote Friends: No just health department clean but Monica clean! Friendly staff. It was calm. Enough parking space.

Maybe there could be an electric kettle in the room to make some tea, or a small fridge.

Breakfast was great. I ate a couple of nights at the Bistro. The burger was really good but the ribs did not have that much taste. The people are incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms are very tidy and relaxing. Would definitely go back

It is a converted officers mess from when the British were in West Germany. It is decorated very nicely and has a relaxed feel.

Perhaps some history of the property would be nice.

Just a wonderful hotel and people. They put on free food before and after the match and could not have been more welcoming and friendly. The room was excellent very spacious and spotlessly clean. A 5 star experience thank you.

Rooms super clean, comfortable, great beds and bathroom.

Staff going out of their way to acvomodate us. Super helpful and very nice. Reallly impressed with the service!

It was close to the airport and the staff was very nice.

A cold wind was blowing through the windows and the baby's crib hadn't been set up in advance.
