Lovely property, comfortable bed. The food was very good. Facilities though clean & manicured didn’t seem out of place with the natural surroundings. We got a great deal during the off season. We would live to stay again.

The only thing I can think to recommend are door sweeps on the rooms to prevent the conditioned air from escaping & spiders from entering. You could feel the cool air from under the doors as you passed the occupied rooms.

The property is beautiful, a series of buildings connected by lovely outdoor walkways, each with a few hotel rooms. Some rooms are quite a walk from the reception up an incline, but the staff helped us with our bags upon check in and check out. The outdoor spaces had beautiful plants, and we could hear howler monkeys at times and see interesting wildlife. The room was spotless and nicely equipped with a coffee maker, TV, good internet, effective a/c, a safe, and the bathroom had very nice soaps and shampoos. Staff were universally helpful, pleasant and welcoming. There was ample parking. The room was quiet, although we could hear housekeeping carts being moved outside in the morning. The main hotel pool was closed for repairs, but the second hotel pool was available for use. The location was ideal to visit the Palenque ruins, the town of Palenque and waterfalls and other attractions in the area.

For a property which is said to be pet friendly, we found the pet fee to be excessive, the highest I have paid anywhere in memory. It seems like little more than a cash grab to charge a daily premium almost 50% above the regular room rate for a small dog, but no such premium for children, teenagers or groups.

Comfy bed. Great shower. Close to the palenque national park. Good food at the restaurant. Strong AC. Ceiling fan. Netflix was an option once the tv was fixed. Spotlessly clean.

Placed far away, up the hill. The resort was empty. The pool near our room was poorly maintained - the clean pool was near the front and a long walk - so never used it. No fridge in the room (we knew this but would have been handy) until the phone was connected (missing the cord) we had to walk to the front desk to ask anything.

Everything. It was beautifully landscaped , the rooms were situated for privacy, and the pool was absolutely stunning, especially with the lighting at night. It was definitely one of the most attractive resort-like places we’ve stayed at. It was immaculately clean. Top marks to the hard-working cleaners.

I have nothing negative to say other than the repetitive menu. After 2 days it got boring. The waiters were all very pleasant.

This is a very nice resort, with easy access to the ruins at Palenque. The parking seemed secure, which was important to us, as we were on a long road trip. The room was very comfortable, with plenty of space, hot water, and all the amenities. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. There is a nice restaurant on site and two pools. The grounds are well-maintained and quite beautiful.

There was very limited sitting available in the pool areas, unless one intended to swim. Since those were also the places to get a drink or a snack during the day, it made them not very useful for that. The wi-fi doesn't extend to the rooms. In the lobby, it was fine. That could be solved rather easily with some network extenders.

Good location - we were driving ourselves and found it easily, left at the roundabout onto the ruins road, then you'll see the sign on the left after a few k. They initially gave me a room with a door adjoining another room (which isnt a hotel room in my opinion, its a shared apartment) which meant you could hear everything next door. To be fair once I informed reception this wasn't acceptable they moved me straight away. The grounds are very well kept and although I didnt use the pool it looked good, plenty of people were in it, the pool bar was never open however. I saw a lone howler monkey in a tree at the edge of the grounds which was cool, no macaws though (

The restaurant was just ok - they seemed to cater for a lot of tour groups, so if there was a large group the service for others was slow; the food was ok, thats about it. Overpriced for what it was but I think that's most places in the area.

Setting and accomodations were excellent

Staff was friendly but too use to dealing with large tour groups and not couples or small groups not on tour. Bar, did not understand what a margarita is. The bar was unimpressive.

The pool was a great place to hang out and Rogelio, the bartender, was absolutely great. The rooms were clean, beautiful and comfortable. The setting is great as well with the howler monkeys and scarlet macaws.

the staff in the restaurant were not very friendly, and when I ordered room service from them they didn't bring my order. after about 45 min I went to the restaurant to get it - no big deal but there were no guests in the restaurant so not sure why they weren't able to provide room service.

Excellent facilities

Walls are not sound proof. We heard Nyet over and over again from next door. Then drunkin shouting. They book Russian tour groups despite the Ukraine killings and embargo.
