Staff Is amazing, the beach is wonderful. The buffet is exceptional though maybe a bit repetitive and could use more vegan options like the tui magic life bodrum. It is well connected to the city. The jacuzzi was amazing and the view from our sea front room was great.

We were a bit disappointed that the rooms for three people were a twin bed and a mattress, though it wasn’t specified in the room description, we did expect to have a bit more comfort since it’s marketed as a luxury room. Apart from this, and this has nothing to do with the hotel, I’d just like to let future guests know that 99% of guests will not smile at you, will not return your hello, will barely clap or react to the beautiful display of culture during Greek night, and will stare through your soul at any given chance :)

We visited just 2 days after the start of the season and stayed for 7 days. The hotel was very well maintained compared to some other Mediterranean locations we've stayed in. The food at the main restaurant had some daily variation with some themes days in between. The quality of the food was always great, especially the local vegetables and meat / fish on offer. Do try the Flavor restaurant with the wine pairing if you can, it's a great way to get away from the chaos that buffets can sometimes be. We loved the onsite gym which is on par if not above some dedicated gyms in terms of equipment variety & quality. The fitness activities are also great! I can recommend the bike tours offered by the hotel, the mountain and road bikes they have are very well maintained and even for me at 2.07m tall there was something available. Give the archery course a try! Hendrick did a great job at explaining everything and helping us improve over time! Hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful any time of day and no matter the question. The guest service will try to accommodate any request you might have. Overall we loved our stay at Candia Maris and will definitely come back next year for another relaxing holiday.

There could be some more refill stations for drinks, at least for water. Early morning / late evening or when the Pool bar is closed due to bad weather, the only spot to get water is from the Wunderbar which is next to reception and is a long way if you stay in some of the suites just to refill a bottle. There are some 0.5l bottles of water in the room that are refilled daily so it's not too bad.

Everything is great. We enjoyed everything at the hotel, the food is delicious and the staff is very nice. We had a double room with a private pool, we really liked it. We planned to stay for one night, but after we tried the hotel, we booked one more night

Great activities and great entertainment staff. I was pleasantly surprised how super the solo traveller experience was. Great credit to Ami and Mel.

Big resort, with confortable & clean rooms, a lot of facilities, nice beach, good food and first class servicies.

Alcoholic beverages are low quality for a five star hotel.
