The location was very convenient with Outram Park metro station next door, particularly as we stayed 5 nights. The room was very comfortable and the amenities were good. The complimentary sunday foodie tour was excellent. This was an intriguing factor for me when booking the hotel and after experiencing it, my wife and I wish to compliment the Dorsett for the inclusion of this tour. Also, thanks and compliments to the tour guides, particularly Mr Dennis Lim who was outstanding. I recently retired after 46 years in the airline/travel agency business and know the value of excellent staff. Please be assured that we will recommend the Dorsett Singapore for any of our friends who are considering stopping in Singapore.

I had a fantastic stay at Dorsett Singapore! The hotel is conveniently located next to Outram Park MRT station and just a stone’s throw away from Chinatown, making it easy to explore the city. My room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. I particularly enjoyed the stable WiFi and my spacious room. Overall, Dorsett Singapore exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore.

There were some issues with the DND light and the safety box in my room, but the staff resolved them quickly. The breakfast buffet at Sensei Sushi & Grill didn’t meet my expectations. The selection was quite limited, and many of the dishes lacked flavour. On a positive note, the staff were friendly, but the breakfast buffet needs significant improvement. If you want to experience authentic local cuisine, head towards the Chinatown Complex. You’ll find a wide range of delicious and reasonably priced food options. For Western food options, walk towards Chinatown Point.

After a tough 13 hour flight, this hotel was just perfect for a 3 night layover on our way to cebu, the Philippines. The front desk staff went out of their way to answer each question we put to them. Through them, we figured out the metro system which actually had a station right next door. Only one stop away is the most mesmerising shopping mall ever seen!!!. My wife and I have no hesitation in booking the dorsett hotel on our return journey to Ireland in a month's time. Chinatown, Singapore.....5 minutes walk away. We have stayed in Singapore a few times in the past, but, this hotel and location can not be equalled.

Good sized room well located to get to places in Singapore via public transport and walking. Our (second) room was spacious enough for a travel cot for our baby. We had to change rooms after the 1st night due to issues with the 1st room....

The 1st night we were in a room with faulty lights, broken aircon (stuck on a chilly 18 degrees) and the room was a tight squeeze. We were moved to another room such was slightly roomier and didn't have the same faults. The rooms in general are a bit dated but are clean and comfortable. Pool was nice but parts were being repaired so it was not as tidy as it would normally be, I assume.

Location is a top plus for them, it’s situated right in Chinatown so there is plenty to explore. Accessibility is also great as it’s linked to 2 MRT stations and a bus stop is right in front of the property as well. The rooms are quite spacious compared to what you can get for the same price around SG. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. The room we got had a nice view too.

The hotel already has visible wear and tear on the furniture and especially the carpet flooring. But thankfully the room given to us didn’t have big issues, and the room was quite clean in appearance and in smell so it was generally fine.

Everything was perfect! I love that hotel! Perfect location! Installations were pretty nice! There is a MRT metro station that bring you directly to the hotel! I really enjoyed my time there!

It did not include breakfast. For me it is important that the room include breakfast within the rate.

The location was excellent for my situation - recuperating from my knee operation but can easily commute to office and nearby amenities. Housekeeping was very well done. i love the bathroom with the bidet, nice-smelling bodywash and shampoo, strong water pressure.

I thought it a bit odd that i can charge some things and not others when dining in the japanese restaurant and bar in the hotel. I like the view from my windows but the outside was a bit dirty and dulled the view, in the daytime. Perhaps a more comfortable chair would be useful to enable work at the desk.

Great Stay with Excellent Service and Location I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect—conveniently close to popular attractions, restaurants, and transportation, making it easy to explore the area. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. A special mention to Rowell, who provided outstanding service. He was incredibly friendly and gave great suggestions on places to visit nearby, which made my trip even more enjoyable. His warm and helpful attitude truly stood out. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with excellent service and a great location.

The location is excellent – right next to an MRT station, which made getting around the city super convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, with a stunning city view. The bed was very cozy and we especially appreciated the tap with drinkable water – no need to worry about limited bottled water. The bathroom was well equipped, and the bath towels were soft and fresh. Overall, everything felt well-maintained and tidy. Definitely recommend this hotel, especially for travelers who value comfort, cleanliness, and a great location.

Clean and comfortable room — standard size for Singapore — in a fantastic location right next to Chinatown with plenty of eateries nearby. The service was excellent; the reception staff were super friendly and even let us store our bags during our stay, which was really appreciated. Perfect spot for a quick, hassle-free stay. Would definitely recommend!
