I stayed at this hostel twice during my trip, both at the beginning and the end. The location is convenient if you don't mind a 15-minute walk to the Duomo. For me, it's close enough without being in the overly touristy center, which I and others appreciate. The hostel is clean, provides a great breakfast for the price, and has an amazing rooftop terrace equipped with everything you need to cook your own meals. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.

During both of my stays, in different rooms, I found that the AC wasn't strong enough. On another note. On my second room, there was no chair in the entire room and lastly, the individual courtains would be appreciated.

Very good location as public trans is easily accessible. Every staff member I interacted with was great. Wonderful attitude, friendly and always helpful with any questions I had.. Really appreciated the aircon very much as when I stayed there it was in the 90s in Milan! Without the aircon it would have been impossible to sleep! Breakfast was very good, would have liked if they included eggs (hard boiled) to balance the mostly meats and cheese..

The bathroom shower tiles had dark mold and even though they were cleaned daily, the mold was never cleaned off. I'm sure this is an easy fix, just needs to be cleaned. It would be nice to have had better configuration of the room lockers as they do not even fit regular carry on luggage and have no hooks or hangers in them.. The light in my bed had been previously broken from the wall and even though it looked like they had tried to repair it, the repair was not successful..

The place is very clean and rather comfortable (as for a hostel). Our common 6-people room had a bathroom which was very convenient. I also liked that we could leave our bags for free for the whole day after the checkout. The breakfast is available on site and the price is good. The personnel speaks English very well.

They take additional fee for renting the towels which is not great taking into account the price for the bed is already high (yes, it’s not that high for Milan in general, but overall I can’t say it was cheap). Not very close to the city centre or railway station (about 30-35 min on foot).

Amazing location. It was my first time in Milan and location was EVERYTHING. An amazing neighbourhood for solo (women) travelers. Very quiet and safe with stores near by. Duomo and central area was 15 min walk. Staff member (girl with black hair) was a rockstar, very nice and helpful with the walking tour. The tour was very very good. Francesco was funny and friendly and took us to places that I didn’t know about. Kitchen and communal area were great and clean!

Nothing at all. Maybe add some privacy courtains? Roommates were a little bit loud at night, but that’s not the hostel fault.

Clean, good position, nice staff :)

Towels are not included in the price, which is a pity considering it's not cheap

Incredible hostel in the very center of town! My expectations were completely met. The famous Duo is only 10-15 minutes walk (if you like to walk slowly) from the metro station and the popular carrefour express. Words can not tell how good and responsive staff I found: always friendly and ready to help, just for that I would put a high rating. Cleanliness and cleanliness are felt throughout the hostel: regular change of bed linen, clean floor, cleaned trash - super! You also get a key - card and key of the locksmith (this surprised me personally, in other European countries you must have your own lock) Breakfast for 5 euros is good for a full breakfast. There are no cons for me! P.S: Filipino receptionists are the best :)

it was a nice place with a well equipped shared kitchen that was on the top floor with a terrace/balcony, and the rooms were well ventilated which was such a life saver for the hot weather. this hostel is based a walkable distance from some of the major attractions, but far enough that you don't feel like you're bang in the middle of a tourist information centre :)

the bunk beds in the dorm i stayed in really squeaked when getting up and down the ladders, which was just awkward for those those of us getting in/out of bed, and a bit annoying for those trying to sleep, so I recommend packing a good set of ear plugs if you book a shared dorm

I stayed in a 6 bedded female dormatory. On arrival, staff were welcoming and friendly. Bed was really comfortable and bedding was clean. Lockers provided were of a good size, with a lockable key. Bathroom was clean and towels could be hired for €2. Location was a ten minute walk to the centre and metro.

Curtains around the bunk bed were really needed!! Other guests were allowed to check-in after midnight, this impacted everyone in the room as shining of phone torches, disturbed fellow guests!!

Hands down the best hostel I've ever stayed in Europe so far. I stayed in a women's dorm and was able to make some good friends. Everything was extremely clean. Stuff takes care of the rooms everyday to keep it clean. We had individual bathroom in our room which was huge and very comfortable. Live music downstairs and of course Italian warmness was the best. It's an amazing and massive historical building. Our room was huge as well and we had lots of daylight. No need to mention the perfect location. I highly recommend this place. If I go back to Milano, I'm going here. Thanks for everything!!

Nice building, nice location, pleasant environment and spacious room. The check-in was very easy and smooth, the building is nice. The room had six beds but with enough space between them, luckily there were also very friendly guests. The room had also individual lockers for personal stuff and I liked the upstairs terrace.

Unfortunately, although overall the room and bathroom were clean, the shower wasn’t in its best condition. There was a line probably mold or not well cleaned areas a bit annoying when trying to get a relaxing shower already in a shared space like dorms-hostel. Also the air flow-circulation of the room was limited or for some reason warm, making the smell of the room not very pleasant.
