Loved my stay at Kalamata Art Rooms and wouldn’t hesitate to go back. The location was brilliant and the room had everything I needed for one person. The basket of goodies was unexpected, and a lovely touch. The staff were helpful. I enjoyed being able to sit out on the balcony and overlook the square. It was noisy in the evening as it was a weekend, but that pretty much shut down by midnight. Breakfast at bistroteca was very good value.

I liked everything as a solo traveller, but the bathroom doesn’t offer a lot of privacy if you are more than one person.

Rooms were very spacious with an artistic touch, the girls in the reception were very polite and helpful and they showed great hospitality. The room is located in the center of the main square of Kalamata and has everything around. It had all the necessary amenities and room was equipped with a lot of details. Breakfast was excellent in the restaurant opposite the building! When we visit again Kalamata, we will definitely stay there again!! Thank you, it was an unforgettable stay!

Really nice place, very close to restaurants and bars, the beach is walkable but taxi is better. There is a taxi rank close to the art rooms (upon leaving the art rooms, turn right then right again and a few minutes walk you’ll see the taxi rank on the left). Ask for a taxi number in case you go somewhere that has no taxi rank to be safe, they’ll pick you up and you pay the driver. We did have a car as well, there is are car parks (turn left when you leave the art rooms and shortly you’ll see it. They’re very reasonable and i think one of them is always free. Our room was right next to reception and we didn’t hear a peep out of them or any other residents.

Nothing, the art rooms are peaceful and perfect for our stay.

All rooms have a different size. The best room is also the most expensive one and includes a separate kitchen and bathroom. The cheapest room is at the back has full afternoon and evening sun which makes sitting on the balcony impossible. The other rooms are facing the square and are in the shade in the evening.

Some of the rooms are very small and can just hold a smallish double bed, They are about 3x3.5 metres. The bathroom is behind a glass wall, but cann be separated from the room by a curtain. The chairs on the balcony look stylish but are very uncomfortsble to sit on.

The location in the centre of town couldn’t have been better - right near main bus stops and shops, quiet but close to nightlife and restaurant. The rooms were equipped with everything you needed, cleaned everyday and very generous with toiletries being replenished every day. Staff were super kind, friendly and helped us organise taxis etc. highly recommend

Beautiful rooms right in the heart of the township. It wasn't noisy at all. The staff were extremely lovely and we were recommended a wonderful authentic Greek restaurant for our evening meal. Thank you. The apartment size was huge and it had a separate kitchen dinning, bathroom and bedroom. Each room was spacious and beautiful decorated in the dedicated rooms colour. I loved the pot plants throughout the apartment. There were complimentary wine and snacks for us to enjoy, typical treated from Kalamata region.

Very comfortable room with nice touches left in the room e.g bottle of wine, natural toiletries and local nibbles. Very good air conditioning. Interesting layout as room was compact but good use of space. Very nice helpful staff on reception. Good central location for shops , bus and taxi rank. 15 minutes walk to the old town. 10 minutes to the railway park and 30 minutes to the marina.

More hangers for clothes , and change of towels on a daily basis.

The location was perfect for us as we wanted to stay in the city center. The staff was very kind and helpful, which seems to me to be the standard in Greece. Breakfast was served in the cafe next door, it was tasty but the coffee was excellent (what is not so common in Greece). The bed was very comfortable.

The bathroom stall in the room was odd. But this was due to the fact that it is a building that was not originally built as a hotel.

Very clean and compact room! Amazing location right on the square! Check-in was easy and had good communication with the host regarding when we would arrive. Until 9pm there’s someone at the reception after that they could leave the keys for us. Also, we didn’t hear any noise from the main square. Welcome gift was much appreciated!

Big apartment with separate kitchen area. Good electrical appliances. Great balcony for people watching! Excellent central location above smart modern high street. 10’ walk to the old town; 20’ to the beach. Public parking 200m away. Friendly and helpful reception staff
