The breakfast was universal but with Leberwurst, which is local, so local + universal👌🏻 The staff was nice , the design was historic and charming. The location is perfect, just 5 meters from Plönlein.

Since the hotel design is historic, don't expect there will be a lift, or atleast i didn't see one. You might get confused about which door the hotel door is, because many building having the same name but one of thrm is a bar, one is a restaurant etc .. and bring bath slipper with you, as there isn't in the room.

Excellent location and breakfast! I traveled by car and arrived after the reception's working hours – I was given directions that worked very well, and I was able to park in a nearby spot for 5€. The guesthouse also has a garage. The space is pet-friendly. I traveled with my dog, and dogs are even allowed in the breakfast room. The team is very friendly

I made the reservation on the same day, and the price was extraordinary, but my room was a single with a very small bed and an uncomfortable mattress.

My single room had a small balcony which I was not expecting so I sat outside and enjoyed the evening sun on my arrival. The private parking was also very handy even f there is a cost. Check in finished early the day I was there as the restaurant was closed on the Monday so the staff finished early but still not too early. Breakfast was good and made the place even more good value for money. The location couldn't be better being right next to the most photographed location in Rothenburg meaning you got to see it when no one else was there n the early morning and late evening. Also an easy stroll to the central square and city walls. I highly recommend staying here and in Rothenburg ODT

Really comfortable room (bed, space, bathroom) and superb experience overall. Staff was attentive, helpful and sympathetic. Location can barely be any better as this is in the heart of altstadt. The hotel restaurant is incredible! I enjoyed the most delicious schäufelle in Germany there. I also definitely recommend the local sparkling wine. The apfel strudel was a work of art. Nice and polite staff there as well. The breakfast was good. Not hugely varietied but with all the basics for all tastes, with tasty local products as well.

That I didn't know the restaurant closed on Tuesday and I hadn't one last meal there.

We loved the location and staff at this clean, friendly, conveniently located hotel with easy access to the marktplatz, perimeter walking trails, shops and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious, with lots of items to chose from. We took advantage of the on site parking for an extra fee,

our room faced the street and people enjoying their visit were talking loudly. This was remedied with a friendly request from our window to talk quietly.

Excellent included breakfast! I especiall liked the soft boiled eggs and cheeses. The room was basic but comfortable for a one night stay. The location was great and the associated wine bar down the street had some delicious choices. Highly recommend. The staff were helpful in suggesting places with views and local treats.

The room was somewhat worn out and the massive door key was a bit cumbersome. These were minor issues for a short stay and not really negatives.

The location couldn't be better. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. The room was enormous and despite being a bit dated was really clean. They have a garage close to the property.

I wish the room had had a minifridge. The price is a bit high, but understandable given the location. However for that price the parking should've been free (they charge 12€ per night).

Beautiful hotel with a great location. Upon check-in we were given a map of the area. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Beautiful view from our room and at least one of our windows had a screen- so we could sleep with it open. Will definitely stay here again. Reasonable prices especially for the location. Breakfast was delicious!

There is no air conditioning- which I knew before I booked it. I don’t think I would be comfortable staying in the heat of the summer but it is perfect for other times of year. I’ll definitely stay here again.

This is a very special hotel. The location is in the old town. The hotel is also old, but in a good way. You can feel that there is a family heritage. The staff was very nice and there was a parking space.

The safe didn't work so the owner gave us the option to put things in their main safe.

Steps from Plönlein with a parking garage. Free breakfast was absolutely delicious! The staff were wonderful. We stayed here 7 years ago and it’s just as great as it was back then.

Nothing that we didn’t like, but did overlook that there’s no air conditioning. It was fine for our night in late May since we could open the windows for a cooler breeze, but it would be unbearable in the summer.
