The setting of Gefiri Plakas Hotel is absolutely stunning—nestled right by the river and surrounded by breathtaking mountains that offer spectacular sunrise views! We stayed in one of the rooms located in the newly constructed annex, which was modern and comfortable. The staff were exceptionally polite and attentive, adding to the pleasant experience. Our room and the hotel facilities were impeccably clean, ensuring a relaxing stay. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of both savory and sweet options to choose from. Overall, a wonderful stay in a beautiful location—highly recommended!

The room was fairly simple in terms of amenities—adding practical touches like a clothes rack and a hair dryer would have made it more comfortable. As for breakfast, the complimentary filter coffee could be better, especially since the paid espresso option is quite pricey (around €3.50) and there aren’t any nearby cafés for alternatives.

We only stayed for 1 night. The location was perfect for us as it was very close to the rafting starting point. Also walking distance to Gefyri tis Plakas, by the river, close to a small minimarket. nThe little garden with tables under the trees was pleasant during the day or for an evening drink. The lady who checked us in was very nice. Balcony with amazing view. Children loved the bunk bed. Slippers, toothbrush etc in the room was a nice surprise.

Room was a but stuffy, which was resolved as I opened the window and balcony door as soon as we got in the room. Room furniture is basic, which did not really bother us.

Great location for sightseeing, activities and hiking trips. Really frienly owner/staff. Great breakfast included and in total good value for money

Oct. 2024. We where in a small double roon in one of 2 newly constructed building detached from the main building. Overall it was ebjoyable, but it was clearly noticable that they have not fully completed all the finishes needed and obviosly planned to call it perfectly completed. One issue is no headboard to the bed a a rough "rock type" wall behind the bed. We had some issues with the showerhead that took a few days to be attended.

A lovely hotel with excellent breakfast and outstanding new rooms. The manager, Υutta, is delightful, pleasant, and highly professional, she was attentive to all our needs and thanks to her, our stay at the hotel was very enjoyable. The hotel also offers dinners, and the location is great, close to rafting activities in the area. Overall, it offers excellent value for the price.

One of the most beautiful places we have visited. We were extremely surprised. I would recommend everyone to see and feel the beauty of the place. The hotel is located in the mountains, and access is via an asphalt road. After the deviation from the highway, a new road is built, wider than the existing one. The last few kilometers are still widening, but not a problem to pass. The road itself has bends, but they allow you to enjoy the view. The hotel is located between the mountain peaks and offers an incredible view. Extremely peaceful place. The owners were nice and kind. The food was superb. The hotel itself consists of several buildings, and we were accommodated in the additional buildings. The rooms were modernly decorated. With comfortable beds and everything you need. A path to the famous Plaka Bridge starts from the hotel. I recommend everyone to visit it. Dinner and breakfast were rich. I recommend the place and congratulate the owners for this wonderful place. We will visit again for a longer period of time

Great experience, cozy atmosphere with spacious rooms (we had a family room and a double room). Great shower streams, clean rooms, white and soft towels, good AC, and beautiful mountain views from the room balconies. Fresh and tasty breakfast served in the morning. Great location for taking day trips And mainly if you take the arxhatos river rafting. But that's not all! Eventually, it's all about the people! Owners and their teams were so nice, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area and always willing to assist. It makes the entire difference. THANK YOU!

We are a group of six friends and this review is from all of us. During our extensive 16-night journey in North Greece, the hotel in Tzoumerka stood out as the highlight of our trip. This modern establishment offered us an experience of comfort, hospitality, and convenience. Our rooms were generously sized, and also the shower. What truly sets this hotel apart, is the warmth and efficiency of the owners and, in particular, Niki. Their welcoming made us feel like we are guests in their home. This personal touch gave our stay a homely feeling. The breakfast, in particular, was great, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start our day. Additionally, we had the opportunity to pre-order dinner, and it did not disappoint. The meals were not only very tasty but also served in generous portions. We also took advantage of the hotel's laundry services, which were efficient and convenient. The location of the hotel was another positive aspect. Being close to a supermarket made it easy to stock up on essentials, and we were thrilled to discover that the end point for river rafting was nearby as well. In conclusion, our stay at the hotel was an absolute delight.

Excellent location, close to rafting, spacious, clean and well maintained rooms. The owners of the place are charming, attentive, help with everything you need. The morning is varied and delicious, everything is fresh and prepared that day. The meals in the restaurant are excellent, huge portions from the heart and everything is fresh and delicious. Nikki, the owner, is an amazing woman and we were very happy to stay with her. We are sure we will be back.

A cute hotel and close to what we were looking for - rafting in the Arachthos river. Good shower and spacious room. Standard breakfast. worth the price

We sat in the lobby and ordered coffee and for some reason in hindsight they charged us money for it without us knowing. It was written in small letters on the breakfast table that asking for coffee is a separate charge. We were surprised and it was very embarrassing, it is true to say before taking an order.
