I knew when I booked Sheen Falls that it was going to be a wonderful trip, but this resort exceeded any expectations I had. The staff were absolutely wonderful, so kind and approachable. The food was extraordinary, the views and location were incredible, the room and facilties were absolutely amazing. The room was one of the highlights for me. We felt so taken care of the whole time and we were absolutely gutted to leave. We have decided to make this resort our go to place at least 3 times a year from now on, as we were just blown away. Stunning place, highly recommend it, and have told family and friends to stay here and experience how wondeful it was! We would LOVE to get married here in the future as I couldn't pick a better spot for it. Extremely happy with it overall. Thank you so much to all the staff during the stay - they made it even better for us.

The location is stunning. The art around the whole hotel is amazingly beautiful, the mural at the main reception made us smile upon arrival. The staff are very accommodating and nice. The spa was also the nicest we have seen in Ireland so far, we had deep tissue massage there and really enjoyed sauna afterwards.

The breakfast could be improved. We ordered Avocado sourdough toast from the cooked section and didn’t eat much of it, avocado was like a purée on a regular toast. This was the least impressive avocado toast we’ve tried. My friend didn’t like her Irish breakfast much either.

The room upgrade, followed by prosecco was a big surprise for us when we checked in. The room was exceptional, which I did not expect at all. Very spacious, comfortable, and the views were breathtaking. The food and drinks were delicious in both the sheen lounge and the stables brassiere. Both rooms were very cosy to drink and dine. The treatments and facilities at the spa were very nice and relaxing. All the staff from each department were very friendly and helpful.

When we arrived we were greeted by Nicole and her colleague on reception. Nicole was very welcoming and friendly and her colleague who's name I don't know my apologies, offered us a hot drink with it being so old outside that was a great start.

We were going into kenmare town to eat that evening but we wanted a drink in the bar before hand, we found the bartender with the handlebar moustache was very cold with us, we tried to make conversation but he didn't really want to know and made that quite clear. The bar was almost empty bar 2 other guests, so he wasnt busy. we go away to enjoy ourselves and meet people and we felt very uncomfortable with this gentleman. Sean the porter saved the day by dropping us into kenmare and we had such a great conversation with him. The breakfast staff were amazing and so so kind and friendly. I too work in a 5 star hotel I can tell you now the staff will always make the experience memorable. Beautiful location. We will be back please god😀

Great views from a plush room. Spectacular location on a babbling brook, beautiful views from a huge and very comfortable room, superb dinner at the Falls restaurant and a great starting point to explore the area. Bonus service - much appreciated: the hotel will drive you into Kenmere (pretty town, excellent restaurants - just ask the concierge and/or the driver) and come and pick you up after dinner (or a pint).

The bar is not as cozily elegant as it could be and two of its rooms were occupied by families with kids playing board games quite loudly: lovely activity, but it put us off having an after-dinner drink. Other than that, top.

Warmth and efficiency of staff, thoughtfulness of staff - for instance offering a complementary return shuttle to town for a booked dinner. Facilities are fabulous, room massively spacious and quiet, location is stunning (waterfall, expansive grounds), plenty of rooms to relax and read by the fireplace.

Breakfast is OK but a bit disappointing given everything else is so superb. Orange juice is not freshly squeezed, sometimes all tables are already used when you arrive for breakfast and you have to wait a bit in the corridor.

Hotel and grounds are spectacular! Staff are ALL pleasant and knowledgeable and willing to help in any way. Common areas are all lovely, working fireplace near entrance, a library room, Pub and Bistro were great. Waitstaff and bartenders were simply and willing to make any drink for you. Bistro setup more like a very comfortable living ro, plenty of space. Food was tops, fish, salmon, apps and mains all high marks. Great hotel for walking along the waterway, the falls, local low traveled road, woods and cemetery! We ended up with a fantastic corner suite. Upgraded without prodding or cajoling. Very large, nice views on 2 sides, very large bath with shower and tub.

Hot water took several minutes, really! Needed a taxi ot a restaurant beyond Kenmare and Freenow app had none. Hoteled arranged taxi was a beautiful new Peugeot but the 5 minutes ride 25eu!!!

It is such a beautiful and charmful place, you can really disconnect from the world in it. It is directly next to a beautiful river with a small waterfall, our room had a view to it, you feel like in a fantasy movie most of the time. Where ever you turn you see stunning natural beauty Staff was very kind as well, an amazing place.

They have horses in the hotel for offering the guests horse riding activities, we went to visit the stables and it was very sad for us to see that they have them in extremely small boxes. They can barley move in there. I have worked with horses my whole life and that is definitely not the right place to keep them, each horse should have at least 3 times the space they offer them. To see this was a really big stain in what otherwise would have been a perfect place. Is the only reason we dont give it a 10.

The room was amazing. However the windows in the bedroom were in bad need of a good clean. I expected better from a hotel with such a high standard. Also i found a diabetic needle bu the bureau which could have been fatal for a child. Otherwise our stay was amazing and we hope to return again very soon. Many Thanks Helen

Stunning location, beautiful clean hotel rooms, very friendly staff, very fine restaurant, very close to Kenmare town and an excellent breakfast.

The pillows are a bit too soft. That is the only issue we found.
