My partner and I loved every second of our stay at De Hoek Manor. Ilzebet was incredibly helpful, friendly and professional. We loved breakfast and the breakfast room. The staff were also very attentive. Our room was stunning with views of Church street and the church. The location is as central as it gets with a choice of restaurants a few steps away. There is also secure off road parking. The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean and the bed was big and comfy. There was air-conditioning, decent cupboard space and a mirror/hairdryer for me to do my make up and hair. There were complimentary chocolates, rusks, tea and coffee pods and a Nespresso machine which made my day. It was really an exceptional stay and I can see a lot of effort and thought goes into the presentation and management of the space! I would definitely return! :)

The Guesthouse is located right accross the road from the Historical Dutch Reformed Church founded in 1687, a spectacular view of the Church from the lounges dining room and some bedroom windows and it is walking distance to many other historical sites and world class Restaurants.A safe but vibrant location. Beautifully decorated very spacious many lounges balconies and garden courtyards to enjoy.!The Manager a very gracious lady went beyond what I expected to really make us feel superbly welcome and comfortable.Very professional.! Breakfast was incredibly well presented AAA+++

De Hoek Manor was perfectly located just around the corner from restaurants and bars. Parking was secure. Everything about the manor was upmarket and luxurious and very comfortable. The breakfast was served to your table and included all the traditional items as well as fruit smoothies. A lovely start to our day. De Hoek Manor is reminiscent of the days when customers were really valued and nothing was too much trouble . The owner could not have been more helpful or accommodating. It was a beautiful experience and well worth the money.

A lovely building located with perfect access to the cafe quarter, galleries and museums. Secure parking off street. Very welcoming check in and check out. Excellent breakfast. Great service. Full DSTV bouquet. Good pressure and plenty of hot water in the shower. Very comfortable bed. Umbrellas in reception for the unseasonal and torrential rain.
The only slight hiccup was the Sunday check-in time. We were told we had to be there by 1400hrs or pay a late check-in fee, so we rushed a little to get there but found the management were all there working and would have been there the whole afternoon, so we could have arrived later. Not a big deal but meant we missed an activity that we could have done in a window of good weather before the rain came. Otherwise very comfortable and excellent service. Thanks.

We had a lovely, large room with a huge bed. There was a fridge with still and sparkling water and also a small milk. The water used was replaced daily. Breakfast was amazing. It was presented really nicely with different homemade items like quiche and scones on different days. There were also fresh fruits and yoghurt and a cooked breakfast to be had, so much it was a shame we couldn’t eat it all! The location was great, just round the corner from shops and restaurants and guarded parking was across the street.

We have stayed here a number of times over the years and I must say it’s fabulous. The staff are all excellent, nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is great and the rooms are well furnished, big and beautifully serviced daily. There’s a safe and fridge in the room. The bathrooms are well equipped and have nice powerful showers. Good aircon too. Location is very central for a stay in Stellenbosch and there is secure parking across the street which is included in your stay.

This place is a gem. It is an older historical building in the middle of town that has been refurbished with modern amenities. It is filled with antique furniture and a wonderful, laid-back atmosphere. Our room had a patio that I enjoyed. The staff are wonderful, the breakfast was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If I had seen the place before I booked other places, I would have stayed there longer. We will come back.
It was all wonderful

This is a beautiful and elegantly furnished historic property located in Stellenbosch, opposite the second oldest Church in South Africa . The tastefully modernised room was spacious and very comfortable and we were given a very warm welcome . Breakfast was outstanding, served in the beautiful dining room. Secure off street parking was an additional benefit. We can’t wait to return and stay for longer!

De Hoek Manor is walking distance from town, terrific restaurants and as needed for this trip the Festival we were attending. The reception and breakfast staff makes you feel right at home from entering. Attention to detail is excellent, chocolates & sherry in the room. The stay was as previously a treat. The facilities is luxurious and the upstairs romms have an excellent view on the church and mountains.

Fabulous location. Great little B&B. Lovely room, seating areas and TV with a big bathroom. Excellent staff. Very central to all restaurants and shops. The tourist information office is next door so booking trips was easy. Lovely river walk close to B&B. Great staff and lovely breakfast which was serviced at the table.
Steep staircase up to all rooms except one on the ground floor. Would be an issue if any mobility issues.
