The location was beautiful - very peaceful and picturesque. The lakeside studio was large and accommodating, and very comfortable. The lake and surrounding gardens were lovely to look out on at all times of day. The kitchen was very well-equipped in the main, the fridge being well-stocked with bacon, eggs, tomato, yoghurt, fruit, cheeses, rocky road, butter, milk etc. Also provided was locally-produced apple juice, bread, muesli, water crackers, crisps and lovely jams. Very generous and varying. Chris, the host, was very welcoming, friendly, helpful and most personable.

Very little was not to like besides a toilet seat that was ill-fitting and hotplates which were in an awkward position for a short person to use. A little extra cutlery and dinner-ware would have made things a little easier at times.

Everything ! The absolute care and the attention to detail exceeded expectations. From the moment you walk into the room with the oil diffuser on, to checking out the little treats they have left you in the fridge. The owners took so much pride and care in their work to ensure you have the most enjoyable stay. I was also in a bit of trouble with my car which they kindly offered me a lift from town and also stayed in contact to make sure I was safe. Beautiful, kind people who go above and beyond. I was left without a car but was able to enjoy the beauty of the property and watch the wildlife go by.

My partner and I had the pleasure of spending three delightful nights at Granite Belt Cottages, and from the moment we arrived on the property, we were blown away by its stunning beauty. Chris, who checked us in, was not only delightful but incredibly helpful, offering a wealth of suggestions from their carefully curated book of things to do to his own personal recommendations. The spa cottages were absolutely spectacular, offering a true home away from home experience. Every detail was adorned in charming cottage core chic, showcasing impeccable quality throughout. The breakfast hamper provided was not only charming but also delicious. I cannot sing the praises of this place enough—I am already eagerly anticipating our next stay!

I highly recommend Granite Gardens Cottages and Lake Resort. My husband and I wanted a short getaway combined with some sightseeing and relaxtion. This property gave us that. With only 3 cottages on 35 acres, situated 5kms past Stanthorpe we felt relaxed as soon as we checked in. The gardens are lovely and the property is the perfect location for visiting the wineries and surrounding areas. You would need a car to get there. The cottage was well appointed with a spa bath and a fully stocked fridge with local produce for breakfast. Chris and Lyn thought of everything and were wonderful hosts. we will definitely be back.

Communication with the owners was immediate. Granite Cottage Accommodation is a little out of town aiding to the the discrete, serene and relaxing ambiance. Woken gently by an assortment of beautiful birds, and relaxing on the porch in the night with an abundance of stars all around. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows, great water pressure in the shower and a generous spa with bath bombs, fluffy towels and robes. The owners have put love and dedication to Granite Cottages and added the thoughtful use of local produce and products including home made treats, a cheese platter, and fresh produce for breakfasts. Thank you, we would love to return in the winter to enjoy the in cottage fire place.

The property exceeded our expectations.

Chris and Lynne have established an absolute jewel of the Granite Belt with Granite Gardens. Honestly, we can't say enough good things about this property. Setting? Amazing. The Retreat cottage? Stunning. Hospitality of hosts? Second to none. We loved our stay, and can't wait to think of an excuse to get back there.

What didn't we like? Nothing. Honestly, there was absolutely nothing we didn't like about our stay. It was all positive.

The breakfast was great and the location of the cottages was central to everything we needed. It was a pleasure to stay at the cottages. Will recommend the accommodation to our friends. My wife and I will return next year to celebrate Christmas in July.

We enjoyed the whole experience while staying at the cottages for our 37th wedding anniversary. The place was peaceful and had everything we needed to have a relaxing time away. Keep up the good work you are doing an excellent job

Beautiful cottage with a view of the lake and surrounded by nature , and fully stocked for a cheese platter, a sumptuous breakfast. A great fireplace to feel warm and heating are available, too. Fragrant organic bath products and not to forget Lyn's yummy Rocky Road! Chris was very helpful, giving us all the local knowledge. Chris & Lyn are great hosts who catered for the guests' needs perfectly 👌🏻

Very private secluded location in between Stanthorpe town and Ballandean wineries. Lovely country style cottages overlooking a beautiful lake and park like surrounds and gardens. Fully equipped kitchen provisioned with all the breakfast items you could wish for. Wonderful hosts who made us feel at home on their beautiful rural property.

There was nothing not to like. This place is perfect for couples or young families or a small group who want to have a very private and relaxing time away from home.

Beautiful cottage overlooking small lake. Spacious inside with lovely decor and outside covered area with bbq. Owner welcomed us and explained the different features and provided recommendations for dog friendly wineries to visit. Breakfast included was substantial for our 3 day stay and even included cheeses, crackers and homemade rocky road and jams. Huge grounds to take our fur baby for a walk up the back. About 10 minute drive into Stanthorpe and nearby wineries. Other wineries about 20-30 mins drive away. Wonderful place to relax and watch the sunset with a glass of local wine.
