We upgraded our room before arrival and it was very spacious. It was very clean and the bed was sooo comfortable. There was a great a great choice for breakfast. We had an evening meal at the hotel and we both thoroughly enjoyed it and the staff were so attentive, helpful and friendly. The hotel location was a perfect location for a stroll into the centre of Aachen

I have to say that there really was nothing that we didn’t like about our stay. We can’t really make any comments on the swimming pool as we never got around to using it but I’m sure it would have the same standard as the rest of the hotel

We absolutely loved the swimming pool where you could actually take a real good swim! Our 8-year old daughter really wanted to practice during holidays and kids (under supervision) were allowed to swim. The Finish Sauna was a real bonus! Loved it! The food was amazing and the staff extremely friendly and helpful doing everything to give all of us a wonderful time!

We arrived on the 30iest of May 2025 and there was a lot of noise (music?) all night from cars which sounded like a big house party. Of course this was not the fault of the hotel at all, neither could they do anything to prevent that. But it might be good to know the property lies close to a busy road. The second night it was really much better, so it could have been an exception. The bed in room 137 was too soft and it looked like a giant has slept in it before me… the mattress wasn’t straight anymore. For such an amazing hotel I expected a better quality mattress. I also missed the oatmilk/almondmilk options during breakfast. But the food was truly amazing!

We returned for a second visit, having stayed for 7 nights in January, 2024. Mostly, things were as expected and we enjoyed our stay. The room we had was very large this time. That was an unexpected bonus.

There were a few minor flaws. First, payment was required at check-in. As my friend arrived before me, she had to pay for the full 5 nights. This was not what we planned, as I had made the booking, and I was intending to pay. Secondly, the top shelves in the wardrobe had not been cleaned, the clothes I put up there became covered in dust. Finally, service at breakfast on the last two days was slow, that seemed to be due to a shortage of staff.

Property itself is excellent. Easily reachable by bus. Great facilities, including the property itself. Excellent pool, sauna, and overall wellness facility. Breakfast was great. The staff is very sweet and impeccable. Loved everyone! ❤️ A few things were off for us. The hallway and the room especially were hot, and somehow, I felt the temperature knob did not work, so I had to ask for a ventilator. There are not enough plugs to charge our devices. All sockets were preoccupied by either the lamps or the other items present in the room. During the three course dinner, the waiter did oversell the wines to us in a way that we were drinking wine with soups! 100ml of glass costed 10€ but the wine didn't even taste like it was that expensive (10€ x 7 = 70€ a bottle. With about 3x markups, the same bottle of wine would cost 20€-25€ in the supermarket. It certainly did not taste like it costed 20-25€. More like 10€.). The food itself was excellent, though. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would come back, especially for the wellness facility!

It was a real pleasure to stay at this hotel. The decision to stay there was made in part by the theme of the decorations. I am a Cambodian historian by background and was totally smitten by seeing replicas of classical Cambodian sculptures in one of the atriums and in the pool area - 10 points for that! The theme continued in the bar with large paintings with Cambodian themes. Apart from that I also liked the big room, the large common areas - one with a great selection of coffee table books on art and architecture - and the excellent breakfast.

- restaurant food was a bit overpriced for what you get but nonetheless food was tasty and served well. - after first night, housekeeping only made the bed and didn’t replace water or coffee pods and left dirty mugs. - strange that you have to pay €16 EUR for 2 days parking when you are a guest and already paying a lot for the hotel.

This was our sixth or seventh stay at Parkhotel Quellenhof. Quellenhof is a typical early 20th century "grand hotel" with impressive public spaces and very large rooms. It has recently been renovated whilst retaining the original features and classical character of the hotel. Although, I can imagine its old-fashioned and somewhat formal character is not to everyone's taste, we love it. I, however, like the grandeur and the comfort the hotel offers. The rooms are roomy, light and airy with huge beds and the corridors are long and metres wide. The hotel is located just outside the city centre with ample parking either in the underground garage of the hotel or the public parking next to it. The staff is courteous and friendly.

The quality of the breakfast - although not bad - could be improved. It is a huge hotel and this is reflected in the buffet style breakfast. There is ample choice but the food is not very refined and is more 3 stars than 5 stars. But still very enjoyable.

The rooms are clean and cozy, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfasts are delicious. The spa area is well-maintained, and the staff is attentive and always ready to help. The restaurant offers excellent dining options. For my birthday, I was pleasantly surprised with a delicious dessert in my room

A couple of things to keep in mind: • Book spa treatments in advance. • If you’re arriving by car, come early to secure a parking spot.

The room was clean and cosy, spacious and the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well set out. There was a coffee maker and small fridge in the cupboard and plenty of space to hang clothes. We didn’t use the spa facilities or have breakfast, but the bar area looked cosy and inviting too. The hotel was decorated for Christmas and we looked forward to getting back to the warmth of the hotel after visiting the Christmas market just down the road. The staff was friendly and eager to help.

There is nothing we didn’t like about the hotel. The only possible improvements we noticed were trivial; a coat hook near the room door would have been helpful, and the heating in the room was a little overzealous, but I am sure that if we had asked for help in reducing the heating we would have been helped. We were sorry we were only staying one night!

This is an excellent hotel. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable and capacious. Staff ware very helpful and made us extremely welcome. The building retains the ambiance of its early 20th century origin but has been maintained to a high standard and provides the expected facilities of a modern hotel. Although our room at the front was facing a busy road, we heard no sound of traffic. We had dinner in the restaurant and our meals were excellent, as was the breakfast next morning. The hotel is conveniently placed to walk to the centre of Aachen which is about ten minutes away.
