Location was everything. 15 minutes walk from Euston station and able to walk into Covent Garden and Piccadilly Circus in about 20-25 mins. Cooked breakfast to order was good along with freshly brewed coffee. Beds and linen clean and comfortable.

We nicknamed our “family” room as “Panic Room” with a toilet!! As a couple with 2 teenaged children, boy and girl, the room we were in was incredibly snug. Bathroom incredibly small and shower adequate (but was clean!) and no where to put anything- no shelves or drawers - also no mirror outside the bathroom which makes life difficult when teenaged daughter and mom trying to out make up on at same time !! Feel the description as room being suitable for a family a bit of a stretch but as we were only sleeping there it served a purpose and was great price — location outweighed the lack of space ! Breakfast room way too small for the number of guests - literally was one in one out with little space to move once you’d sat down to eat !

We had a cosy & very quiet room at the rear of the Hotel... & on the ground floor too! Lovely! The room was clean and tidy and looked out onto a beautiful patio. The curtains were lined with blackout material and kept the room nice and dark. The Staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious (full English) and very filling - our thanks to the Catering Staff! 😘

it would have been useful to have had a bedside cabinets on both sides of the bed where the lamps would have sat nicely, the TV had lines on the screen where the pixels were dead ( it wouldn't cost much to replace) but was just about watchable & maybe have a look at increasing the flow of water refilling the cistern, it took ages to refill and the noise was noticeable because of it. 🙂 otherwise a lovely staff, thank you.

Super cooked breakfast every morning, fresh-cooked, not greasy and served promptly by the very nice ladies who also do all the housekeeping. A welcoming atmosphere and rooms always nicely cleaned with tea and biscuits topped up. Room was warm and cosy with plentiful hot water for shower, a fridge, kettle and microwave, plus set of crockery, all making for a great base. Plus helpful and friendly reception staff; I felt safe and cared for. The location is good for the university and for essential shops to buy groceries etc. Store St has some nice places to eat out but room having microwave means one can buy ready-meals at Tesco or Marks & Spencer. Definitely recommend and hope to use again for my next visit.

I found the bed much too hard; being of petite build the hard mattress felt very uncomfortable for sleeping. Reception closing early evening one must arrive in good time to check in; my train was delayed so it was a bit of a push to arrive in time to catch Reception staff.

Regency House is our home away from home. We have been staying here for over 20 years. While it is not a 4 star hotel, ( and it does not claim to be) it is perfect for seeing London without spending a fortune. The hotel rooms are comfortable, with a mini fridge and a shower/ bath with hot water. Our room even had a microwave! Their breakfasts are included and delicious. The full cooked breakfast is never disappointing. Location is also great! A 5 minute walk to the British Museum and 15 minutes to Covent Garden. Plenty of underground stations nearby. We walked to Euston Station to get the Eurostar to Paris in 15 minutes. We love it here! Staff are the best!!!

Nothing!

Location was fantastic, very central with lots of nearby shops and transport links. Yet somehow it was still quiet. Bed was super comfortable and the important things (toilet, shower and bed) were kept clean and tidy. Fresh towels every day and decent working facilities like mini fridge freezer, kettle and aircon. The staff were all pleasant and helpful and endeavoured to make our stay enjoyable. There was also a lovely outdoor seating area out the back which I think many would miss which would be a shame as it was particularly nice.

My first impressions of our room was disappointing. We were on the top floor, so many stairs, and the room was quite small, fitting basically just a double bed and 2 bedside tables. But upon further inspection they had cleverly designed the room to fit a lot more then I initially thought. Plus the shower was a good size and not too cramped. The only other thing I wasn't keen on was aesthetically it looked quite tired. But that didn't affect our stay at all!

Ideal location with tube station at end of road. British museum round corner, 10 mins walk. Sophia on reception a credit to the hotel. She could not do enough for us after complaining about uncomfortable mattress. Thank you so much Sophia 😀 Breakfast was good, set us up for the day.

The bed was very uncomfortable, so my husband and l had no sleep first night. Complained to Sophia on reception and she got it sorted. Within 30 minutes, a guy came and measured old mattress. New one was ordered. However, we were moved to a new room (8) which was an up grade. Had a brilliant 2nd night sleep 😴 This room was downstairs, so much quieter as we didn't hear road noise. Also had more facilities in it, microwave, fridge and larger shower.

We loved the location to the West End . We enjoyed the easy walk to theatre land and back again.

The rooms need updating . The breakfast room was very small and felt a bit rushed and not relaxed. We did not appreciate being asked want time we wanted breakfast upon check in as we were on a holiday break and didn't want to have to choose a time or set an alarm to have our breakfast . To say breakfast is from 8 to 10 gives your guest the option to choose and not set the alarm .

The room has all the facilities I needed including a proper work desk and a refrigerator. The air-conditioning could be easily adjusted. It felt loke bedroom in a home, only much smaller. I like that there was vegetarian breakfast provided with the option to add or exclude certain items. The location was very near to a few train stations.

Those with mobility issues may not be able to you up and down the stairs. Other than that, everything else was good.

We were a bit sceptical after reading some reviews - Nothing to worry about. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was lovely and big. Furnishings were stylish. Comfortable bed & good bathroom. Ground floor was nice after many places with tight narrow staircases. Location was great. Many pubs & restaurants within a short walk. Regents Park was a short walk and a beautiful place to stroll around. We also walked back from Camden Market which wasn't that far away. A delicious full hot breakfast included which was a nice way to complete our stay.
