This is a small boutique hotel in the heart of Maastricht. The location, staff, and room were all really great. The room was big, clean, and comfortable, and had all that I needed. The little courtyard is charming.

Overall, it was a very good experience, but a few small things could be better. The pillows were not comfortable, and when asked if they had a softer one, I was told they would check, but they never got back to me. Safe and aircon were not working. There is no lift so it was a bit hard with the suitcases, but they helped.

Faculty was wonderful and a great location for tourists!

The morning breakfast was presented to us as if it was included. It was never stated or posted as an additional cost to the guests. It was a traditional Dutch breakfast (everything was fresh and delicious) which we always enjoy however it would have been nice to know it was 22€ additional charge per person upfront.

Hôtel was in great location, not far from the centre square. Room was large and well appointed. Breakfast room was large and welcoming, a nice continental selection for breakfast.

There is no lift which was fine for us but if travelling with luggage or limited mobility something to keep in mind. A hot option at breakfast would have been nice.

Superb location to explore the whole of Maastricht and ideal position for our purpose. Hotel was clean and comfortable and all staff were friendly and helpful.

Whilst it din't matter to us, our bathroom was on a mezzanine floor via some very steep stairs. If you were old or had mobility issues, this would have been problematic. I think therefore, future customers should be made aware of this on booking.

An excellent little hotel right in the heart of Maastricht. Within walking distance of everything. Room was small but perfect for a couple of nights. Beautiful old breakfast room and lots of choice to enjoy.

Cant think of anything really. Maybe some scramble eggs for breakfast. Also a toaster would be a great addition. Generally though it is a great place and will transport you back to a time when we used to get better service.

The hotel is a minute or so away from the Vrijthof square (famous for the Andre Reiu concerts) and where there are many restaurants to chose from. Close too to the vast shopping centre. There is a lovely garden patio at the back where breakfast can be taken on good days

It might have been nice to have a drink later in the day but the salon and dining area is closed in the evening. Breakfast was ok but pricy if all you can face in the morning is a coffee and a toast!

The boutique style and courtyard

There was an issue with checking in after check in hours. I was delayed and in transit. And since I’m from Canada. I do not turn my phone on while in Europe. So the hotel was trying to call me but I don’t have my phone available. They could have also sent me an email to let me know about the after hour check in. Got to the hotel and we stopped a local on the street to call some number on the door buzzer.

The owners of the hotel have gone out of their way to create a lovely ambience. There is a very pleasant courtyard garden, away from the hustle and bustle of the bars of Maastricht. Our room was in the top of the house and very quiet. The location is good, in the older, more interesting part of town. There is a great choice for breakfast.

Very charming boutique hotel. This was my second stay in Botticelli and I hope to come back soon. The hotel is furnished with character and has a lovely courtyard. Great location. Very close to Vrijthof Square; nice restaurants; historical sights and to the shopping area. My room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good.

The location was amazing. The hotel is located in the center of the city and less that a 2 min walk from an underground parking garage. We made our reservation at the last min and the hotel staff welcomed us and insured a speedy and pleasant check-in. We left early in the morning so we did not eat breakfast at the hotel but the spread looked amazing. My wife and I will definitely stay here again next time we are in Maastricht.

We had to walk up a steep set of stairs (inside the room) to access the shower/toilet; this was particularly difficult in the middle of the night. We were exceptionally cold while staying the room despite adjusting the thermostat in the room. The next morning one of the hotel staff explained to me that the heat is turned off after 11:00 PM every night.
