Very comfortable bed, loved sitting on the deck and watching the ocean RIGHT THERE. Friendly staff.

The hotel is found in a residential neighborhood, and about 0.5 mile walk to the nearest restaurant or bar. The staff is gone from the hotel 5:00pm - 8:00am.

The staff was so extremely friendly. I enjoyed interacting with them. They were extremely accommodating. It was an absolute pleasure to have stayed. Great authentic food right in the area. Waking up to the ocean view every morning was breathtaking. It was quiet. I highly recommend. Also. They have a rescue cat who roams the grounds named Selva after the hotel itself. She is the sweetest thing. She came into our room and hung out for a bit. They have taken excellent care of her! As a huge animal lover that tore at my heart strings!

There was nothing I didn't like about the hotel itself. It's a bit dated, but I tend to prefer places like that. The neighborhood is a little run down, sketchy at first, but I felt more than safe in it.

Housekeeping kept the room and rest of the resident really clean and nice. Pool was super nice I really enjoyed it a lot! Bed super comfortable! 10mim walk to beach. They serve coffe every morning which I fined generous giving it’s a place with no food service. Helpful staff that will provide any information about anything you would need help figuring out.

since the location is a bit remote it would of been nice with some services within the hotel. such as a restaurant and bar. I didn’t feel safe leaving the hotel are after 4pm. highly recommend staying here if you have a car but, if not I recommend bringing water, snacks and all you could need.

Nice quiet location. Easy check in & out. Friendly Staff. Clean. The TV had every channel, and the remote was easy to use, which is rare. Complementary cereal and coffee at the back Bar room.

Soap dispensers empty, No Bed Lamps or table next to the bed. Just a light bulb next to the entrance door and the Bathroom light. No place to put a Bar of soap while bathing. I've stayed a few times. This will not stop me from staying again.

It is a nice, quiet place on the oceanfront (but it is not a beach, just large rocks, so plan to visit the real beach nearby). The beds are comfortable, and the A/C is working. All are clean and working well. It was a nice one-night stay. The staff was mostly invisible, self-check-in, self-parking, and self-checkout.

The hotel description promised coffee and some baked products from 8 am to 11 am, however only hot/cold water and a few tea bags were available

They are under new management so the Yunque Mar reviews are useless. I found it to be very clean, comfortable and a great location. Playa La Fortuna is 300 yards away and quite beautiful, it's actually an extension of Playa Loquillo so it's an easy access to 20ish restaurants in the Kiosk. Love the sound of the water at night.

Doors could use deadbolts and insulation around the edges to keep out light and noise. They could benefit from electronic card keys to access all rooms and exterior doors. Ask for a contact number for after hours questions or concerns.

Adorable-clean- modern- spacious-comfortable. You can watch the sea rushing against the rocks and enjoy the fresh air on the large seaside terrace. A large clean swimming pool, light breakfast, friendly staff. Short walk to beach. Quiet residential neighborhood but short trip to shops, restaurants,bars. 100% recommend

Too bad my balcony did not have a view of the ocean and sunrise! Everything else exceptional!!!

This hotel absolutely exceeded my expectations! It is literally located directly on the beach, and it was the cleanest, quietest beach we saw on the whole trip! Perfect sand, no seaweed, no rocks / shells- just pure beach. It has a stunning sunrise view, and a pool if for some reason you don't want the beach. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the instructions from the hosts were very easy to follow. I can't recommend it enough!

My only complaint is I wish I stayed there longer!

Everything was great. Front desk is only available 9-5 but After hours check in was easy. The oceanside view was great. There was hot water and free prkg was perfect. Coffee and crackers is a typical PR breakfast but I don't drink coffee so I went to the nearby panderia. Location was amazing, very close to El Yunque and on the beach.

The mattresses were extremely hard and uncomfortable but i.was so tired I fell asleep with no issues.

The location and staff were excellent. Quiet with no screaming children running around. If you like to walk this is the place to stay. About eight minutes to the Kiosk restaurants. Playa Fortuna ( beach): one walks about five minutes in the opposite direction to the Kiosks. This beach is not crowded. Enjoy.

Upgrades are currently being done to this property. Mostly exterior cosmetic work. They are needed. Staff was very quiet and efficient and this did not effect my stay. Ice machines is not sufficient to serve the hotel.
