We arrived very late It was a tough day ! The car broke down and the sim card does not work great travel to be away from the real world 😂 however we would say that Hotel Van Saaze makes everything smooth. We thought we wont have the key to enter as it was super late and we notify the hotel with late notice. However they prepared the key in the box and just called them on an emergency number, they are on it right away to assist you! Late check in is okay. With such a tiring long day we rested super well in this hotel. My husband says they have the best comfy bed ever! yes! we booked a comfy room and it was really comfy!! with the best bed quality! The room was super clean and you got everything you needed with an amazing atmosphere and was very peaceful. Thumbs up Hotel Van Saanze. Highly recommended for someone who loves tranquility and cares about resting well before the big day the day after!

A really pleasant stay for 5 days. Rooms are very clean, everything you need with a kettle, wall mounted hair dryer. Beds are pretty comfortable! Staff are lovely and really helpful. The outside space is lovely, with a few walks nearby and lots of green space. I would absolutely stay there next time I am in the area.

There isn’t much ventilation in the rooms however fans are provided which made the rooms more comfortable. The good points far outweigh the negative. I would stay there again.

The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean and the beds were the most comfortable beds I have slept in recently. We preferred it because it was close to Giethorn and we were very pleased. You can find restaurants, cafes, markets within 15 minutes by car.

We did not have a negative experience.

The staff were fantastic. I had a major mechanical failure with my cycle. A member of staff telephoned the nearest cycle shop explaining the issue and made arrangements for me to attend the following day. Staff went far beyond what was expected The evening meal was very good, breakfast too was acceptable

Room was a little small

Positivity! There is a great team at this place, with employees working exceptionally well together. They complement each other perfectly and everyone is committed to delivering a great service! There is nothing which can't be arranged - we needed to postpone our visit for 2 weeks (our son got sick) and it was no problem at all. Everything was clean and functional. There was loads of space everywhere and for what we need it to be it was a perfect fit. The food was great too - we enjoyed our dinner a lot. Thank you folks for making it a great experience!

Not much. If you really want to be picky one could say that some parts of the interior could have been renovated, but quite frankly we like the fact that it is as it is. Everything was in a good working order and done with taste. I think it's right choice to maintain it well rather than making a big investment - sustainability wise it's a good choice. It also had a certain charm to it...

A classic Dutch breakfast, don’t expect fancy things, but it is good enough, typical Dutch. The restaurant in the evening is also typical Dutch and in this case that means good and well prepared food.

I would have needed a table to put my laptop on and do some work, but the room was too small to fit a table. Of course you can go and sit in the restaurant but that is too noisy.

Perfect! We loved staying at this hotel. It has a very cosy restaurant and breakfast room, the staff are very friendly and the location was perfect for us to discover this part of the beautiful Netherlands (20 min to Giethoorn, 25 min to Urk). There are cycling paths starting from the hotel directly for those looking to ride the bike here. The rooms are comfortable and light with a large window and with a huge bathroom with both shower and bathtub. Great value for money!

The breakfast could be a bit more varied.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We were delayed on the Eurotunnel so was arriving after reception hours so they rang us and gave us the instructions to get into our rooms. Rooms were very clean and beds very comfortable. Price was very reasonable.

single room was compact but clean and comfortable. No cooked breakfast elements but a reasonable spread of cold selections. Found the 15.50e charge just a bit steep, but the hotel did provide the requested lactose free products.

Beautiful village and a lovely stay! Hotel staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. Had messaged ahead to ask to rent two ebikes, and had swift responses. Recommend cycling around this region for the tulips as this was the highlight of my holiday. Plenty of signs signalling tulip cycle routes and always a wide cycle lane to use. The hotel provided a small but great breakfast in the morning and we enjoyed a delicious variety for dinner in the evening. There was even a small fish truck which served fried fish, which came from the nearby fishing town of Urk (personally found it better than British fish and chips!) Rooms were clean and large, we even had a balcony to enjoy the sunset from. There was a mini fridge in the room so we could leave some drinks there and enjoy something cold on the balcony after a day of cycling.
