A beautiful hotel nestled in the ribbons of the Italian Alps. Nature at every turn, with flocks of deer running through. The room was clean, roomy, with windows looking out to the Italian Alps. The terrace was lovely and allowed us to relax outside with a bottle of wine. Breakfast is provided each day by the amazing Italian staff. They were polite and made our stay extremely comfortable. Stunning location.

You can take the bus to get around & down to larger towns, Tremezzo + Menaggio, etc. But a car is helpful, and recommended, if you like to stay out later than the buses run. We rented a manual car for 3 days, under $100 per day. It helped a ton and allowed us to go where ever we pleased. Parking can be a hassle but you'll find your way.

The cave room was really cool and spacious. Water pressure was good. Showers hot and clean. The pool was a good size with relaxed timings (I turned up a little late when it was due to close but there was no issues with me using it a little late). Nice selection of fresh fruit and cold bits for breakfast.

Sounds minor but a door mat would have been good as the entrance was through a grassy path which in the cooler evening became wet and a little slippery. Another point would be the nearest restaurant (from what we found) was a good 5 minute walk down a steep hill which isn't great if you have mobility issues. (There might have been a closer one but thats all we could find).

The hotel is in a beautiful location with stunning views and beautiful pool area that is well kept and clean. The room was also big and clean with great views. We enjoyed the the breakfast very much and enjoyed drinks around the pool. All of the communal areas are immaculate. The local town has plenty of amenities and restaurants which were walkable. Special mention to Giada she was so helpful and welcoming, always friendly and approachable with a big smile.

No tea making facilities in room.

We liked everything. For the price we did not expect to have such a nice, clean and comfortable room, a well maintained pool, and good quality breakfast. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We rated the location highly because it is up on the green hills between lakes Lugano and Como, both reachable in 10 to 15 minutes by car.

Nothing the hotel can do anything about but be careful with the car navigator, it led us into a very narrow alley and managed to get out just because we had a small car. The hotel is easily reachable via main roads, the navigator for some reason got it wrong.

Apartment is a bit further away from the main hotel (1 min by car) with its own parking and a direct access by walk to the pool (1 min). Pool is nicely refreshing. Apartment is very spacious and modern, we felt very surprised while opening the door. Beds were comfortable and windows are soundproof what was an added value seen the concert happening a few meters away.

There is no air conditioning. Room temperature was 27 degrees without possibility to open the window as there is no mosquito net. Pool water is clean but pool side walls need some cleaning. A hanger for wet towels is missing in bathroom.

Very clean and cozy room with a superb panoramic view of the hillsides. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and made for restful sleep. Check in instructions were provided in writing and was clear and helpful. Room is equipped with a fridge, a safe and ample closet space. Breakfast was decent and parking was free.

Weak WiFi. Bidet was not a good system and uncomfortable to use. Shower was awkward due to low ceiling and located in a small tub with no protection glass.

we liked everything about this hotel. we planed to stay 2 days and we added another day. it was super clean, quite and very good for a couple. good location 8min to center of san fidele. easy to get a bus to como and restaurants available breakfast was good and staff was so kind and helpful. they dont speak english but you can use google translate and they try to help as much as they can

Nice room with view (ask for one at the reception or when making resevation). Verry friendly staff, both girls eager to help you. Nice swimming pool.

It’s in the middle of nowhere. Although in just a 10’ walk from the hotel, there is a piazza with at least 3 restaurants and some bars. So don’t worry. The wifi is lousy.

Very nice and comfortable hotel with an elevator (it's important). Very clean and pleasant. We had a room on the 3rd floor with a number of windows, including the roof window, and this added a lot of light. The breakfast was regular and good, with enough cheese and ham, eggs, yoghurts, tasty fresh croissants, good coffee etc.

There was enough daylight due to windows, but in the evening, the existing lights in the room were very dark despite the fact that there were a few different spots of lights. But all of them were very dark. Can be fixed easily by changing the bulbs 💡

Really nice small hotel in a quiet village a short drive from Lake Como & Lugano. Lots of restaurants are available a short walk away. Great drives in the area as well, particulalry to the Balcone d'Italia. Good breakfast and a quiet, comfortable room. Great value compared to the lakeside accommodation!
