I had the apartment with a balcony overlooking the river and the mountains. It was magical. I had very little interface with the staff as it was rented as an apartment not a hotel room. The kitchen, bedroom, bathroom were complete and fitted all my needs. I hadn’t planned to take my meals on the balcony but it was so lovely that I did. i was in Argegno for the Monday market and was able to purchase just the right foods. Also as an artist I took advantage of the views to make many sketches.

I could have used a bit of written instructions on how the room functioned, garbage etc. Also recommendations and advice about Argegno as I was there before the info point for the town opened and it was difficult to find information or recommendations about Argegno. I cannot speak to the hotel or those rooms as I rented an apartment.

I highly recommend these apartments. Everything was very clean, and all the necessary amenities were available both in the kitchen and in the bathroom. The bed linen was fresh, and there was even a hairdryer, which was very convenient. The location is excellent! The host was very friendly. We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival – there was a welcome treat in the fridge and croissants for breakfast. Thank you so much, we will definitely come back!

Great location close to the town center, but away from the noise. The sound of the stream rushing by was an added bonus and quite enjoyable. Andrea and the staff at the Balas incredible. We did a wine tasting paired with his meats, cheeses and lasagna was a real highlight. Argegno is less touristy, but much preferred place on the lake.. Great access to the ferries and the greenway for hiking to other small towns.

It wasn’t clear how to check in and we were passed from the bar/bistro to the restaurant while lugging our suitcases.

Perfect location, right in the centre. 1 minute walk to the restaurants, little supermarkets , the ferry terminal and bus stops. View of the river Telo running into Lake Como out of our window. The property was well laid out with everything you need for your stay. Would happily stay at this property again, would just bring our own pillows next time!

Bed and pillows were quite hard (I am the princess and the pea!). Only two towels and we had booked for three people to stay.

We had such an enjoyable stay. Thank you. The apartment was spacious, clean, had everything we needed, and what a view! Perfect. It was a great spot for a swim in the beautiful Lake Como and convenient for catching a ferry to Bellagio for a day trip. Would definitely recommend. .

Great location Great and friendly owner Restaurant attached, great food Bistro next door for breakfast in spot with no morning sun, great on hot days. Flats have all you need, thoughtful interior

Parking is tough but it’s mentioned upfront, there is close by places, with some patience you get a spot

Location is superb. Short walk from the ferry. We had a room with a balcony that has a view at the Como lake and that was wonderful. One might easily have a romantic dinner there! The appartment is very stylish by design and has many amenities. Spacious bathroom. Welcome drinks in the fridge were very appreciated! Some Italian sockets are updated to fit laptops, which is important in Italy.

The bed felt a little bit uncomfortable (pillows too high for our necks), but that experience might differ by person.

Great location, everything within easy reach. We stayed for two nights and the apartment was cozy and comfortable. The owner is very friendly and kind, and was happy to help with anything we needed.

Parking can be difficult as there are only a few spaces available.

Easily reachable location with plenty of (paid) parking available. A nice place to use as a base from which to discover Lake Como. The town of Argegno does not have many facilities, but there are some very nice restaurants.

Not the biggest or most comfortable place, but fine for a few days.

Fantastic place in a small town with a view to the ancient bridge. The cold river works as an air conditioner during the hot evenings :) Everything's clean and well equipped, very friendly owners and the staff. 10/10
