Room and attached bath were modern, were well appointed and good size. Location on the waterfront is very nice with a nice view for large part of lake Como. Bar/Lounge and terrace seating is very nice and relaxing.

It is not easily walkable to the centre of town (ferry terminal, train station or downtown). It takes about 30 minutes to walk each way and in the hot weather it makes it worse. Hotel does call the taxi but some times, you get gouged by the taxi drivers. Fare by the meter should be around 10Euros each way but when the hotel calls the taxi, it invariably ends up costing around 20Euros, probably because the driver starts the meter from downtown and not when you board the taxi. This adds 40-50Euros to the daily bill, depending on how often one takes the trip(s).

The view is exceptional as it is directly located on the lake. The location is good as it is walking distance from the centre (about 25 minutes walk) but you can also catch a bus which stops 4 minutes away. There is also a ferry stop (Tavernola) which is 2 minutes walking distance and it is really convenient if you wish to visit other villages on the lake. This stop is for the slow ferry only but it is a great choice if you are on holiday and want to cruise up the lake. The lounge bar in the hotel is also great if you want to just relax in the evening.

We booked this Hotel for a weekend getaway (Friday-Monday) after our wedding and it was great. We wanted something a little more special special for such an occasion and they definitely delivered! Here’s a quick summary: Our Bathtub was directly in front of the bed- an interesting feature, great Balcony with great view, Breakfast was nice and the staff was forthcoming and not in a bad way- Abu was great, Bed was comfortable but the blanket was typical Italian style-not one thick piece but what seemed like 12 table cloths and it felt a little messy, and for last: the elevator sometimes just didn’t work. When calling it on our floor it either took way too long (mind you, it’s a 4 story building, so when it took more than a minute we ended up taking the stairs, but might not be the option for everyone)

Hospitality, location, rooms, view, food and luxurious. Our stay at this exceptional hotel was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and treated with genuine care and attention. The hotel itself is a true 5-star gem — elegant, comfortable, and perfectly located to enjoy the beauty of Lake Como. A very special thanks and heartfelt appreciation go to Mr. Mattia, whose outstanding hospitality made our experience truly unforgettable. He went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt valued and well taken care of. His thoughtful advice and personal touch made us feel like we were right at home. We left with beautiful memories and a strong desire to return. Everything. The reception and bar staff were fluent in English. They were helpful with where to eat, what to see and how to get around. Service was fantastic. Views are incredible. Location is super convenient - 100m metres from ferry station. We were generously upgraded to a beautiful room with a balcony. All was good in the world!

The breakfast staff are quite loud when they are talking to one another about who knows what. They comfortably 'talk' to another server who may be right across on the other side of the restaurant which I found quite uncomfortable . When they clear away dishes they happily stack them on a tray, cluttering dishes one on top of the other with knives and forks clanging away on the crockery; which was frankly quite noisy and just did not match with the comfort and elegance of the room or the hotel. I think they need some management and training in etiquette if they are going to work in such an elegant hotel.

the hotel, the location and the service was excellent. the view is unreal and the hotels waterside location means you wake up to the most incredible view of the lake and mountains. service was generally excellent but special mention to Mattia the concierge who is easily the best we’ve had anywhere. his service is exemplary and ensured we were very well taken care of. he is the difference maker who has ensured we will return. we get married on the lake later this year and have recommended villa Flori to our guests. thanks to mattia and the team for taking such good care of us.

The hotel is located right on the Lake and has its own pier. We were lucky and got upgraded and the room was amazing. The view of the Lake is uninterrupted from most of the rooms in the hotel and our view from the large windows was spectacular. Have to say that Mattia on reception is the Man - he is across everything and even stopped on his way home to chat to us as we walked back to the hotel. We walked into the town but there is a ferry stop not far from the hotel and a number of small restaurants as well. Breakfast has a very good selection of everything and a view of the Lake from inside or the terrace.

In fact, what made my stay enjoyable and I was very pleased and happy was the attention and hospitality of Mr. Mattia. He was very interested to the point that he felt that I did not ask him to change the room and he waited for me until I returned at night and changed the room for me and upgraded me to a room without any additional fees, a junior room, and its code was stunning overlooking the street and the city of Como and Lake Como. The room is very beautiful to the point that you can sit in it and it is enough to go out for a walk. Mr. Mattia was also important and explained the tourist places in the city of Como. He also came to me at early breakfast time. He is a very interested person in his work and hardworking. The same personality as Mr. Mattia has a bright future of distinction, development and attracting tourists. This is a rare type of official and you will rarely find him with his efficiency and he is a distinguished supervisor of a workplace and his quality is very upscale. Also, before leaving for vacation, he gave me his private number card in case I faced any problem in the hotel and vice versa, everything was fine. Also, when I left the hotel, I was explained the tourist places in Milan. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Mr. Mattia, and I advise everyone. Deal with him because he is a person who is characterized by his high-class dealings and knowledge of what the clients need. I also advise booking room number 350. It is very, very beautiful and overlooks the public street, the city of Como, and the crystal lake of Como. Thank you very much, Mr. Mattia. Thank you.

Loved the location. We stayed her for a few days in an amazing Junior Suite with an amazing corner view of the lake. Then took a one-day side trip and came back to a standard room for a quick on-night stay. Their staff is amazing and always at the ready to assist with anything you may need. They also graciously stored our luggage while we were away and will also park your automobile. The property location is perfect and the view amazing. Breakfast is great with that amazing view as well.

I recommend always booking larger rooms there and with views. Our one-night stay was in a smaller room and I wish I had the extra space. Same great service, and view and breakfast but my fault for booking a smaller room

Me and my sister recently had a wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Flori and can't recommend it enough! The atmosphere is charming, and the views are breathtaking. A special shoutout to Mattiu for his exceptional hospitality—his warm welcome made our experience even more enjoyable We dined at the restaurant and were blown away by the delicious pinsa; it was absolutely yummy!
