The situation is beautiful if I had a balcony. The staff is very kind. The food was middle range. The sun and the lake.

For the price the room was very small, with just a knee operation and no lift 2 stories concrete steps up, was a mission. No free parking, staff was so kind to bring it to their garage after causing a traffic jam in front of the entrance. You couldn't book a trip ahead over lake como without standing for hours in a queue.(which old guests can't) Not even the hotel could. Your only once in a lifetime at lake como so needed to hire a private boat with 4 others which costs for 2 of us 450 Nz$. For us too crowded and all overpriced even for beginning of July.

Loved the location for a local Como first time visit. Loved the hotel having a lake side restaurant which was always busy, friendly staff, close walk to town and ferries. Also had a garage for our car close by. Assistance with parking, off loading on arrival appreciated.

1. The Receptionist seemed to go absent so on check out there was huge confusion about what had been paid was not processed on the system, expected me to prove payment, and we wasted 30 mins arguing these points. Wasn’t a pleasant way to end our stay. Hopefully this does happen often. 2. Breakfast very basic and lacking everything. If you happy with continental then you okay. 3. No one assisted with our luggage and we had to climb 2 floors.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful — they even offered to carry our bags and were happy to assist with anything we needed. Everyone was super nice and welcoming. Breakfast was pretty good, with a variety of drinks, coffee, and sweets. Everything was fresh and tasty. Also there're a few restaurants that serve many kind of food And there's a funicular right by the hotel (go early in the morning!!)

The room was OK, but not very spacious. We had two large suitcases (23 kg each), and there wasn't much room to move around with them inside. The main downside was the parking. We arrived late at night during a heavy rainstorm, and the hotel parking was about a 10-minute walk from the hotel Luckily, the staff allowed us to park right in front of the hotel overnight, but in the morning we had to move the car because it’s a resident-only parking zone.

The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English well (sorry about our dreadful Italian!). The hotel has a great location near the lake and the cable car. We had a nice room with windows on 3 sides and a view of the lake. We ate at the hotel restaurant in the evening and had a lovely little table with a lake view. The check in and out times were convenient and they would have looked after our bags had we wanted them too. We only spent 24 hours in Como but it felt like a real break.

We were a bit unsure about how the breakfast worked. I think we could have requested a cooked breakfast but we didn't realise that until after.

Marco's is a fine little hotel on the east side of the shoreline of Lake Como, not far from the centre of town. The room was small but comfortable, It had a partial lake view over the rooftops and a tiny terrace with some chairs (if only the weather cooperated). Strangely there was a huge bathroom out of scale with the dinky sized room. There were some stairs to negotiate with our heavy cases on entry. Breakfast was decent continental fare in the attached restaurant which fronts the lake. A few steps away is the funicular, Overall I would say it represented good value for money.

For the money it was fine. It was a small room well located, so decent value.

Excellent service from the start. There is no elevator and we showed up with 3 heavy bags! The staff member carried all 3 to the top floor for us and delivered to our room. The room was small, but the view was extraordinary! We also had a little patio to sit on and enjoy the street below and the south end of Lake Como. We had access to bars and restaurants within short waking distances. Breakfast was included and did not disappoint! Cappuccinos included! When we checked out, the staff watched over our bags while we explored the city while we waited for our ferry later in the day!

The hotel is in an excellent location, practically next door to the funicular to Brunate, a two minute walk to the bus station and a further minute to the ferry ticket office. It is a 15/20 minute walk to San Giovanni train station and there is also a bus stop nearby serviced by the No. 4 or 5 bus that will drop you to the station. The hotel is spotless with excellent and very friendly staff from housekeeping, hospitality and reception. A special word of mention to the young girl in reception whose personality and amiable manner made our stay such a success. The breakfast is top notch, plenty of choice and no problem to the lovely woman working at breakfast to provide us with a pot of tea every morning.

The rooms are a little on the small side with the shower in particular a little claustrophobic. They are however very well soundproofed and we never heard any outside noise bar the thunder we were unfortunate enough to experience on two night of our stay.

Location is perfect, right on the shore. Room is comfortable, big bathroom and nice view. Staff is more than helpfull, alvays there when you need them. You can also book a parking in a neraby garage. Brekfast is in front of the hotel overlooking lake. Hotel has its own reastaurant and it is worth having dinner on a lovely terrace withh greta sunset view.

All, staff, location, service, comfort, food at hotel restaurant. There is nonthing to be disliked.

Location is fantastic. Right on the Lake front. Restaurant attached to the Hotel is also excellent. Food very good, plenty of waiters and all very happy to be of assistance. Breakfast is basic - but entirely acceptable. Perfect location to explore the lake and Como itself. Very short walk from the Station

Room is quite basic and small. But it does have aircon, is spotlessly clean and the bathroom is a very good size. If you plan on only using the room to shower, change and sleep, then it will serve well.

Hotel is the perfect retreat! The rooms here are not only comfortable but also cozy, with attention to detail in the interior design, creating a special atmosphere of comfort. The cleanliness in the rooms is maintained at a high level, and every time we returned to our room, we felt freshness and comfort. The hotel staff deserves special mention - friendly and attentive, they made our stay particularly enjoyable. The surroundings of the hotel are simply breathtaking, with picturesque views and plenty of opportunities for tourism and walks. We highly recommend the Hotel for those who want to enjoy the comfort and beauty of nature during their stay.
